Mounting of DIN35-LOCK-V1(V3) is performed by unscrewing of all four screws on rear
IPLOG panel. The holder is adjusted for mounting to existing rear cover panel.

4 Mounting and Installation
4.1 BOX Modification
The package includes two M3x6 screws for mounting to flat surface and a DIN holder
with M3x6 screws for mounting to DIN35 rail. For vertical mounting holder DIN35-LOCK-
V1 or DIN35-LOCK-V3 must be purchased.

5 Connect Power Supply
5.1 External supply
For applications we recommend using power sources from the table below that are
designed for input voltage 230VAC ±5%.

Connect the supply to terminals labelled SUPPLY, regardless of polarity.
Interconnect the power source and IPLOG using two wires of diameter 1 –1.5 mm²
(stranded wire). Before connecting the wires into the connector (terminal board) of
the source or IPLOG we recommend tinning the wires or using a compression joint.
5.2 Supply over PoE
IPLOG can be supplied over PoE. IPLOG acts as PoE PD device and is compatible with
standards IEEE 802.3af(at).
5.3 Connect Fast Ethernet port
For interconnection use RJ45 connector crimped to cable UTP Cat5e.
UTP cable coating must be adequate to the environment in which the cable is
installed.
The port can be used also in the outdoor environment with additional overvoltage
protection, e.g. OVP-100M-HIPOE-BOX.

6 IPLOG Parameters Setting
6.1 IP Address, Mask and Gateway
IPLOG has pre-set default configuration with mask 255.0.0.0 and
following IP addresses:
IPLOG-DELTA-1 10.46.0.X
IPLOG-DELTA-2 10.47.0.X
IPLOG-DELTA-2-GSM 10.48.0.X
IPLOG-DELTA-3 10.51.0.X
x –corresponds to the last number of MAC address.
Please change the IP address and mask if required. See the figures below.
Run application SIMULand (available on the website www.metel.eu)
Select menu „Project/Find devices“. Your computer must have a valid IP
address in the range used by the switches (i.e. 10.xxx.xxx.xxx) and mask
255.255.255.0. Please check firewall settings if no device was found. A new
rule must be created for SIMULand or Firewall must be turned off.
Select „Project/Find devices“ (Remote management).
Add the found devices to the workspace.
Select IPLOG using the left mouse button and using the right mouse button
you can select „Configuration/Online configuration“.

Confirm low security of password warning and change the password according
to the manual for SIMULand application.
Default login: User: „master“,
Auth: „mastermaster“
Priv: „mastermaster“
In tab „IP“ insert required IP address, mask and gateway.
Confirm settings by pressing button „OK“ or „Apply“.
