Do not operateaFlo1700 SeriesMobileComputing Workstationifithas received asevere impact, been knocked
over, fallen downstairs, or otherwisephysicallydamaged.Pleasehaveaqualified serviceperson inspectall
components ofthe MobileComputing Workstation foranyperformanceor safetyhazard prior toputtingitback into
service.

The Flo1700Series MobileComputing Workstation isnotdesigned for useas ageneralpurposeequipmentcart.
Pleasedo notapplyheavy loadstothe carttop surface.Themaximumdesign load (safeworking load limit)for the
MobileComputing Workstationis 5lbs.
Caution:
Ensure thatthe ACpower supply cord is locatedand secured sothat it will notbe stepped on,tripped over, or
otherwisesubjected todamageor stress.Pleasesecurethe ACpower cord plug intheretainingclipsprovided on the
Flo1700 SeriesMobileComputingWorkstation when it isunplugged fromthe ACoutlet inorder toprevent accidental
tripping and physicaldamage tothe cord plugor electricalinsulation.
Toprevent damage toany cordsorconnectorswhen disconnecting, always graspand pull by the connector and not
the cord.
Do not operatethe Flo1700 Series MobileComputing Workstationwithdamaged cordsor connectors. Please
replacethedamaged componentimmediately.ContactInterMetro CustomerServicefor replacement parts and
service.

Toreducethe riskofelectricshock,unplug theFlo1700 Series MobileComputing Workstation ACcordfroman AC
outlet andswitchtheON/ExtendedStorage Switchtothe Extended Storage (OFF)position before attempting any
maintenanceor cleaning.Turningoffcomputers or disconnecting theACpower cord alone will notreducetherisk of
electricshock becausethePower Supplyisinternallypowered byabattery.
Warning:Risk ofElectricShock
The ACpower cord isthe only means todisconnectthe Flo1700 Series MobileComputing Workstationfromthe AC
powergrid(mains).The ON/Extended Storage Switchonthe power supplydoes notdisconnectfrommainpower.
Onthe other side,the power supplyemploys abatterytoprovide mobileDC output power. Lowvoltage (10-16 VDC)
DC power is availablefromthepower supply, even when the ACcord isdisconnected fromanACoutlet. Toremove
DC power, put the ON/Extended Storage Switchinthe Extended Storage (OFF)position.
