afterwardswithadrytowel. Donot immersetheappliance inwaterorany otherliquid. Wash
theaccessoriesand bowl inwarmsoapy watertoremoveany impurities, drywithadrytowel.
Checkforany damagethat mayhaveoccurredduring transit. Donot useiftheappliance is

AssemblyInstructions
AttachingAccessories(beater, doughhookorwhisk)
Raisethemixing arm(6)by releasing thelocking lever(4)(locatedon side)by pressing
downwards.
Warning: AlwaysmakesuretheStand MixerisswitchedOFF beforeraising theMixing Arm.
Attachdesiredattachment (beater, dough hookorwhisk)tomixerarmattachment socket and
lockinplace securelyby inserting upwardsand turning anti clockwisetosecure. Lowerthe
mixerarmuntil it locksintoplace.

Tofit themixing bowl, raisethemixing armasabove. Place thebowl ontothebaseand fit into
thefixing socket. Turnclockwisetolockinplace. Lowerthemixerarmasabove.
Note: Thelocking leverwill stayopenwhilst themixerarmisraised. It will automatically
returntothelockposition whenthemixerarmisloweredintoplace.
Power Connection
Warning! Install thedesiredattachmentsbeforeconnecting tothemainssupply. Plugthe
appliance intoasuitablepoweroutlet and switchon.
Warning! Ensurethemixerarmisloweredintobowl beforeswitching ‘ON’.
Operation
Place food itemsintomixing bowl and place on platformasabove. Select desiredspeedusing
theON/OFF speedselectorswitch(3). It isrecommendedthat aslowerspeedbeusedat first.
Tooperateinshort bursts, switchthespeedcontrol toPulse.
Note. Themaximumcontinuousoperatingtimerecommendedis5minutes.
OperatingSpeeds
WhenMixing –Start on Level 1and increasetoLevel 6.
WhenWhisking –GraduallyincreasetoLevel 6.
WhenKneadingBread –Start on Level 1and increasetoLevel 2.
TipswhenMixing
-Frequentlystop mixing, switchthepoweroff, and scrapetheinsideoftheMixing
Bowl withaplasticorwoodenspatula(not provided).
-Whenwhisking eggs, it isbest touseeggsthat areat roomtemperature.
-Beforewhisking egg whites, makesurethat boththeMixing Bowl and theWhisk
Attachment areclean, and free ofgreaseand/oregg yolk.
-Whenmaking pastry, it isbest tousecoldingredients, unless advisedotherwise.
MakingBread
-NeverexceedthemaximumcapacityofthisStand Mixer(2kg).
-IftheStand Mixerappearstobehaving problemsmixing thedough, removehalfof
themixtureand mixseparately.
-Pourthewet ingredientsintothebowl first.

ELECTRICALSAFETY

Alwayscheckthat thepowersupplycorrespondstothevoltageon therating plate.
Supplycordand plug.

it fromthemainssupply. Disconnect by first switching off theoutlet, grasping theplugand

Children.
