I. General
(a) The mixer should only be repaired byauthorized service center. The following explanations are in
accordance with the spare parts list UT1200.
(b) To avoid elec t r ic shock, unplug the m ixe r from the p owe r supply b efo r e

II.Disassembly of Mixer
1. Motor Section
• After disconnecting the machine from the main part, loosen four lens head screw (19) and remove
the gearbox housing incl. needle sleeve (18) from Motor Housing (3).
Before continue disassembling, please make sure to remove grease as shown below for efficient
operation. Please apply grease while assembling the spare parts.
Pair of handle can be disassembled by unscrewing four self-tapping screw (34) and one self-tapping
screw (35). Open the pair of handle halves (30)

Now you are able to see switch (10), anti-parasite condenser (11), and line cord (12), two self-tapping
screws (13) and wire locking flange (14).
2. Disassembly of Gearing Section
To disassemble gear, prepare Round bar and one set of V-Block (1R258). Press down work spindle
(20) with round bar in drilling direction. During this procedure, please take off the intermediate wheel
(26)
To remove grooved ball bearing 6003 2RS (28),make sure to hang the nails of bearing extractor
(1R269) on the side of grooved ball bearing.

Remove 4 cover caps from end of the upper metal bar and four plugs (36).
Attention: Pressing a red circle as shown below with flat headed screw driver makes more efficient to
remove 4 plugs(36).
Remove four Screws (33) (TORX Type). Therefore you are able to separate bow handle (16) from
motor housing (3) while pulling out the interconnecting wire (21).
Release four self-tapping screw (8) with Torx bit T20. Be careful not to lose square (5).
3. Exchange of Carbon brushes
Unscrew disc 4.3(9) and self-tapping screw (17) and then pull out the terminals with round
nose pliers. Now you are able to pull out whole pair of brushes5*8(2).

【
Tips of Repair
】
While Pressing fit a bearing, do not press outer race. It may cause extraordinary noise and
rotational motion fault. The correct way is to press inner race at equal power.

III.Assembly of Mixer
At first Connect the intermediate wire of pair of brushes (2) to the motor (1) and place the
motor in right half of motor housing (3) Please make sure that silicone plug (4) is replaced
in the hole of motor housing (3).After this, insert the intermediate shaft (27) with
assembled intermediate wheel (26) and the two ball bearings 6003 2RS.

Set the grooved ball bearing (28), work spindle (20) and ball bearing (28) into the hole of
gearbox housing (18). And then press the work spindle (20) with arbor press. And then
insert grooved ball bearings (28) with repair tool 1R030 (Bearing setting pipe 25-17.2) and
arbor press. At this time please do not forget to replace the fitting washer (22). Press fit
spindle wheel into gearbox housing (18).
After setting 1set of 1R258 (V block), press fit shaft (27), intermediate wheel (26) and
grooved ball bearing (28).
Press fit grooved ball bearing (28) by arbor press. Then replace gear assembly into motor
housing (3). Please do not forget to place a fitting washer (22) between grooved ball
bearing (28) and spindle wheel (23). Make sure that the square nuts (5) have been
mounted.

Assembly of Switch
Connect 2 lines (Blue and white lead wire) into terminals of switch (10) by turning slotted
screw driver clockwise. (Please see the wiring diagram for further information). And then
replace wiring locking flange (14) and screw 2 tapping screws (13) on wiring locking
flange (14).
Place cover cap (30) and screw four self-tapping screws (34) and a self-tapping screw (35).
Place intermediate wire (21) in metal handle holder (16) while mounting it to motor
housing (3). Fix the metal handle holder (16) using the four PT-screws 60 x16(33) and fill
the holes with the four plugs (36)
Place gearbox housing (18) on motor housing (3) and screw four lens head screw (19).

IV. Checklist for testing the machine
➢ Check for correct assembly!
➢ Check the functionalityof the machine!
➢ Test speed-adjustment in different switch positions!
