Network Power Supply
Installation Instructions
Mechanical Installation for the PS-2040 Power Supply
The PS-2040 Power Supply is mounted into the Network Fire Alarm panel backbox near the bottom. Remove the
transformer cover (held in place by two #8 hex nuts) from the backbox, then mount the power supply using four #8-32
nuts to secure it to the backbox. Replace the transformer cover. Refer to figure below for location of the PS-2040.

Wiring
Connect the white and orange wires to the terminal block above the transformer labelled for the orientation of the wires.
The two brown wires from the transformer are connected to the bottom right connector and the top left connector of the
bridge rectifier.
The four power wires from the transformer are connected to the AC terminals (bottom side). The green wire is connnected
to the GND terminal, the black wire is neutral and connected to the N terminal, the red wire is 120V AC and the yellow wire
is 240V AC. Once wiring is complete, place metal cover over transformer and fasten with two #8 hex nuts.
