When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should be followed, including the
following:
WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, injury to persons or exposure to
excessive microwave energy:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. Read and follow the specific “PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY” found on page 3.
3. This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet. See
“GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS” found on page 3.
4. Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with the provided installation
instructions.
5. Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers - for example, closed glass jars
- are able to explode and should not be heated in this oven.
6. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
corrosive chemicals of vapors in this appliance. This type of oven is specifically designed
to heat, cook or dry food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
7. As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used by children.
8. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, it if is not working
properly or if it has been damaged or dropped.
9. This appliance should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Contact nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
10. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance.
11. Do not store this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water - for example,
near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool or similar location.
12. Do not immerse cord or plug in water.
13. Keep cord away from heated surface.
14. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
15. Either
1) When cleaning surfaces of door and oven them comes together on closing the door,
use only mild, nonabrasive soaps, or detergent applied with a sponge or soft cloth, or
2) See door surface cleaning instructions on page 12.
16. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
1) Do not overcook food. Carefully attend appliance when paper, plastic, or other
combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
2) Remove wire twist -ties from paper or plastic bag before placing bag in oven.
3) If material inside of the oven ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off, and
disconnect the power cord, or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
4) Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking
utensils, or food in the cavity when not in use.
Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to be overheated beyond the boiling point
without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed
from the microwave is not always present. THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS
SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS
INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.

(a) Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-
door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is
important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
(b) Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or
allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
(c) Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important
that the oven door close properly and that there is no damage to the: (1)
door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and
sealing surfaces.
(d) The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly
qualified service personnel.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current.
This appliance is equipped with a cord that has a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
The power cord must be plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded. If the outlet is a
standard 2-prong wall outlet, it is your responsibility to have it replaced with a properly
grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage and frequency
the appliance is designed for.
WARNING - Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualified electrician or service agent if the grounding instructions are not
completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
Do not connect your appliance to extension cords or together with another appliance in
the same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord. Do not under any circumstances cut or
remove the third ground prong from the power cord.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
Have a qualified electrician install a grounded outlet near the appliance if the power cord is
too short.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

SAFETY - SUPERHEATED LIQUID
Liquids are able to be overheated beyond the
boiling point without appearing to be boiling
due to the surface tension of the liquid. Visible
bubbling will not always be present when the liquid
is removed from the appliance. This could result
in very hot liquids suddenly boiling over when a
utensil or other item such as a tea bag is inserted
into the liquid.
To reduce the risk of injury:
• Do not overheat liquids. Do not heat any liquid
for more than 2 minutes per cup.
• Stir liquids before and halfway through heating.
• Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow
necks as this can cause a build up of steam.
• Superheated liquid can begin to spontaneously
boil when removed from the microwave.
After heating, allow the liquid to stand in the
microwave for 30 seconds before removing.
• Use extreme care when inserting a utensil or
other item into hot liquids.
The contents of milk bottles and baby food jars
should be stirred or shaken and the temperature
checked before serving in order to avoid burns.
Do not defrost frozen beverages, especially
carbonated beverages, in this appliance as they
could explode.
Hot foods and steam can cause burns. Be careful
when opening any container that has been heated
in the appliance. Direct the opening away from
hands and face to avoid burns.
SAFETY - ARCING
Arcing refers to sparks inside the microwave while it
is in operation. Arcing is caused by:
• Metal or foil inside the appliance.
• Recycled paper towels being used inside the
appliance, as these can contain small pieces of
metal.
If arcing is present, stop operation and remove any
metal or paper towels from the appliance.

RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE
This equipment generates and uses ISM frequencies
and if not installed and used properly in strict
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions,
it may cause interference to radio and television
reception. It has been type-tested and found to
comply with limits for ISM Equipment pursuant
to Part 18 of FCC Rules, which are designed
to provide reasonable protection against such
interference in a residential installation.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in particular installations. If this equipment
does cause interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning
the equipment off and on, the interference can be
corrected by one or more of the following methods:
• Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or
television.
• Move the microwave oven away from the
receiver.
• Plug the microwave into a different outlet so that
microwave and receiver are on different branch
circuits.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any
radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized
modification of this appliance. It is the responsibility
of the user to correct such interference.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
• Remove all packing materials from the inside
and outside of the appliance. Do not remove the
cardboard mica sheet covering the magnetron.
• Check the appliance for damage before using,
such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged
door seals, broken or loose door hinges or
latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door.
If there is any damage to the appliance, do not
use it, return it to its point of purchase or contact
consumer care.
• The appliance must be placed on a flat, stable
surface that is able to hold its weight and
the heaviest food likely to be placed in the
appliance.
• Do not use this appliance where heat, moisture
or high humidity are generated.
• Do not clean this appliance with or use near
combustible materials.
• Allow 30 cm (12 inches) of space above the
appliance, 7.5 cm (3 inches) at the back of the
appliance and 7.5 cm (3 inches) on both sides
for proper air flow around the appliance. Do not
block any ventilation openings on the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance without the glass
tray, roller support and shaft in their correct
positions.
• Never place the glass tray upside down.
Movement of the glass tray must not be
restricted.
• All food and containers must be placed on the
glass tray for cooking.
• Do not use the glass try if it is cracked or
broken, ensure that it is replaced before the
appliance is used.
• WARNING: Do not install the microwave over
a range cooktop or other heat producing
appliance. If installed near or above a heat
source the microwave could be damaged and
the warranty would be void.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
COOKING TECHNIQUES
To achieve the best results when cooking in this
appliance, follow the suggestions below.
STIRRING
Stir foods while cooking to distribute heat evenly.
Food at the outside of the dish absorbs more energy
and will heat more quickly so stir from the outside of
the dish toward the center.
ARRANGEMENT
Arrange unevenly shaped foods thicker, meatier
parts toward the outside of the turntable so they
receive more heat. To prevent overcooking, place
delicate items toward the center of the turntable.
SHIELDING
Delicate foods can be shielded with narrow strips
of aluminum foil to prevent overcooking. Use only
small amounts of foil as this can cause arcing and
damage to the appliance.
TURNING
Turn food over midway through cooking to expose
all parts to the microwave energy. This is important
with large items and meat.
STANDING
Foods cooked in a microwave build up internal
heat and continue to cook for a few minutes after
heating stops. Let foods stand to complete cooking,
especially meats and liquids. All liquids should be
allowed to stand for a few minutes after cooking
and should be shaken or stirred before consuming.
ADDING MOISTURE
Microwave energy is attracted to water molecules.
Food that is uneven in moisture content should be
covered and allowed to stand after cooking to allow
the heat to disperse evenly. Add a small amount of
water to dry food to help it cook.

COOKING UTENSILS GUIDE
Certain utensils are inappropriate for use in a
microwave. See below for more information on
which utensils are recommended, which should only
have limited use and which are not recommended.
RECOMMENDED
Microwave Browning Dish: Used to brown the
exterior of small food items. Follow the directions
provided with the browning dish.
Microwavable Plastic Wrap: Used to retain steam.
Leave a small opening to avoid a build up of steam.
Do not place directly on food.
Glass and Ceramic Bowls and Dishes: Use for
heating or cooking.
Paper Plates and Cups: Use for short term heating
at low temperatures. Do not use recycled paper as
they can contain metal and could ignite.
Paper Towels and Napkins: Use for short term
heating and covering. They can absorb excess
moisture and prevent splattering. Do not use
recycled paper towels as they can contain metal
and could ignite.
Wax Paper: Use as a cover to prevent splattering.
Thermometers: Only use those that are labeled
“microwave safe” and follow all directions.
Check the food in several places. Conventional
thermometers can be used once the food has been
removed from the microwave.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
LIMITED USE
Ceramic, Porcelain and Stoneware: Only use if
they are labeled “microwave safe”.
Plastic: Only use if labeled “microwave safe”.
NOT RECOMMENDED
Aluminum Foil: Can cause arcing or fire and can
damage the appliance.
Glass Jars and Bottles: Regular glass is too thin to
be used in a microwave. It can shatter and cause
damage or injury.
Paper Bags: These are a fire hazard and could
ignite. The only exception is popcorn bags, which
are designed for microwave use.
Styrofoam Plates and Cups: These can melt and
leave an unhealthy residue on food.
Plastic Storage and Food Containers: These can
melt and ignite.
Metal Utensils: These can cause arcing and
damage to the appliance. Remove all metal before
operation.
Note: To check if a dish is safe for use in the
microwave, place the empty dish in the appliance
and microwave on high for 30 seconds. If the dish
becomes very hot, it should not be used.

CONTROL PANEL
1. Display: Shows cooking time, power level and
clock time.
2. Display Indicators
• Cook: Indicator will flash when a cook
program is in operation.
• Clock: Indicates that the display is showing
the time of day.
• Pause: Indicator will flash when a cook
program is placed on pause.
• Time Defrost: Indicator will flash when a
timed defrost program is in operation.
3. Time Cook: Used to set cook time at 100%
power level.
4. Power Level: Used to select the desired power
level during timed cooking.
5. Time Defrost: Used to set the defrost function
based on time entered.
6. Timer: Used to set the timer function.
7. Clock Button: Used to set the current time.
8. Weight Defrost: Used to set the defrost function
based on the weight entered.
9. Programmed Recipes: Used to set the auto
cook programs: popcorn, potato, pizza, soup,
beverage and dinner plate.
10.Express Cook Buttons: Press to set a cook
program at 100% power for 1 - 6 minutes.
11.Stop/Cancel: Used to clear a current program
or error code.
12.0/Memory Button: Used to set the memory
function.
13.Start/+30SEC: Used to start a cooking program
or add 30 seconds to a cooking program.
14.Reset Buttons: Used to reset the power outlets.

FIRST TIME USE
When the appliance is plugged in for the first time,
the display will show “0:00”. Use the number pad
to enter the current time and then press the clock
button to confirm
When setting the cook timer, the appliance will
return to standby mode if there is no input within 60
seconds.
During operation:
• Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
• Press the Stop/Cancel button to cancel the
cooking program.
• The appliance will beep five times at the end of
a cooking program.
SETTING THE CLOCK
The clock can be only be set as a 12 hour clock.
To set the current time:
1. Press the Clock button.
2. Use the number pad to enter the current time.
3. Press the Clock button to confirm.
During operation, press the Clock button to see the
current time.
TIMER
To set the timer function:
1. Press the Timer button.
2. Use the number pad to enter the desired time to
run the timer. The maximum time is 99 minutes
and 99 seconds.
3. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin timer
operation.
Note: Programs cannot be set while the timer is
running.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TURNTABLE RESET
When a program finishes the turntable will rotate
until it returns to the same position it was in when
the program was started so that handles are pointed
toward the door. This means that the turntable may
keep turning after the program is completed to
ensure that the dish is oriented toward the door.
Please do not open the door until the turntable has
completely stopped moving.
Note that this feature will only engage at the end
of a cooking program. If a program is paused
during operation, the turntable reset feature will not
engage.
To disable the turntable reset feature, press and hold
the number 9 on the keypad for 3 seconds. The
display will show “OFF” and the turntable will no
longer reset at the end of a cooking program.
To enable the turntable reset feature, press and hold
the number 9 on the keypad for 3 seconds. The
display will show “On” to confirm that the turntable
reset feature is active.

MICROWAVE COOKING
1. Press the Time Cook button. The display will
show “0”.
2. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking
time. The maximum time is 9 minutes and 99
seconds.
3. Press the Power Level button to choose a power
level. The default power level is 100%. The
display will show “PL10”. Use the number pad
to enter the desired power level if 100% is not
required. Consult the chart at the bottom of the
page for information on power levels.
4. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
Note: During cooking, if the chosen power level
is not sufficient, press the Power Level button. The
current power level will flash for three seconds. Use
the number pad to choose a new power level and
operation will continue in the new power level.
ADD 30 SECONDS
When the appliance is not in operation, pressing
the Start/+30SEC button will run the appliance for
30 seconds at 100% power level. This button can be
pressed multiple times, each press will add a further
30 seconds to the cooking time. The maximum
cooking time is 9 minutes and 99 seconds.

NOTES ON POPCORN
The following should always be taken into account
when cooking popcorn:
• Cook only one package at a time.
• Use only a microwaveable popcorn packages.
• Do not try to pop unpopped kernels.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while in
operation.
• If the popcorn does not pop sufficiently, do not
press the Popcorn button again as the popcorn
may burn.
• Open the package away from the face to avoid
contact with any steam released from the bag.
• Use of popcorn popping devices is not
recommended.
WEIGHT DEFROST
The defrosting time and power level are adjusted
automatically once the weight is entered.
1. Press the Weight Defrost button. The display will
show “dEF1”.
2. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the
food that will be defrosted between 4 ~ 52 oz.
3. Press the Start/+30SEC button to confirm.
During operation the appliance will pause and beep
to indicate that the food should be turned over or
stirred. Press the Start/+30SEC button to resume
operation.
TIME DEFROST
1. Press the Time Defrost button. The display will
show “dEF2”.
2. Use the number pad to enter the desired
defrosting time. The maximum time is 9 minutes
and 99 seconds.
3. The default power level is 30% and cannot be
modified.
4. Press the Start/+30SEC button to confirm.
AUTO COOK
The auto cook buttons can be used to set automatic
cooking functions for the below food types.
POPCORN
1. Press the Popcorn button repeatedly to cycle
through the options of “1.75”, “3.0” and “3.5”.
These numbers refer to the size of the popcorn
bag in ounces.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
POTATO
1. Press the Potato button repeatedly to cycle
through the options of “1”, “2” and “3”. These
numbers refer to the size of the portion in
ounces. 1 is 8 ounces, 2 is 16 ounces and 3 is
24 ounces.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
PIZZA
1. Press the Pizza button repeatedly to cycle
through the options of “4.0”, “8.0” and “14.0”.
These numbers refer to the size of the portion in
ounces.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
SOUP
1. Press the Soup button repeatedly to cycle
through the options of “4.0”, “8.0”, “12.0” and
“16.0”. These numbers refer to the size of the
portion in ounces.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
BEVERAGE
1. Press the Beverage button repeatedly to cycle
through the options of “1”, “2” and “3”. These
numbers refer to the number of cups.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.
DINNER PLATE
1. Press the Dinner Plate button repeatedly to
cycle through the options of “9.0”, “12.0” and
“18.0”. These numbers refer to the size of the
portion in ounces.
2. Press the Start/+30SEC button to begin
operation.

EXPRESS COOK
When the appliance is not in operation, press the
number pad from 1 to 6 and the appliance will run
between 1 and 6 minutes at 100% cooking power.
MEMORY FUNCTION
The memory function allows the programming of
cooking times and powers that can be recalled and
used again and again with minimal input. Three
memory programs can be set at one time, they are
labeled 1, 2 and 3.
To set Memory 1:
1. Press the 0/Memory button once. The number 1
will display.
2. Press the Time Cook button and then use the
number pad to enter the desired cook time.
3. Press the Power Level button once. The power
level will default to 100%. “PL10” will display. To
change the power level, use the number pad to
enter the desired power level.
4. Press the Start/+30SEC button to save the
setting.
5. To use the setting in future, press the 0/
Memory button once and when the number 1
is displayed, press the Start/+30SEC button to
begin operation.
To set Memory 2 or 3, press the Memory button two
or three times until the number 2 or 3 are displayed
and then follow the steps above.
Note: If the power is lost or the appliance is
unplugged, the memory settings will need to be
reprogrammed.
SETTING THE CHILD LOCK
To set the child lock press and hold the Stop/Cancel
button for 3 seconds. The appliance will beep
to indicate that the child lock is activated. While
locked, the appliance cannot be used.
To cancel the child lock, press and hold the Stop/
Cancel button for 3 seconds. The appliance will
beep to indicate that the child lock has been
deactivated.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING
Turn off and unplug the appliance before
performing any cleaning.
The inside of the appliance should be cleaned with
a warm, damp cloth and mild detergents. Do not
allow food splatters to build up on the inside of the
appliance as this can affect the efficiency of the
microwave and if sufficiently dirty, can ignite and
cause fire.
The outside of the appliance should be cleaned with
a warm, damp cloth. To avoid damage to internal
components, do not allow any water to drip into the
ventilation openings.
Clean the door and window on both sides, the door
seals and the adjacent parts frequently with a damp
cloth to remove any spills or splatters. Do not use
abrasive cleaners.
Do not allow the control panel to become wet. If
necessary, clean the control panel with a damp
cloth and then wipe dry.
The glass tray can be removed and cleaned in
warm water and mild detergent or can be placed in
a dishwasher.
The roller ring and oven floor should be cleaned
regularly to avoid excessive noise or spilling. The
roller ring can be cleaned in warm water and mild
detergent or can be placed in a dishwasher. Ensure
that the roller ring and glass tray are replaced in the
proper position to avoid noise or spilling.
MAINTENANCE
To remove odors from the microwave:
1. Combine a cup of water with the juice and skin
of one lemon in a microwavable bowl.
2. Microwave on full power for 5 minutes.
3. Wipe the inside of the appliance and glass tray
and roller ring thoroughly with a warm, damp
cloth.
MUTE
Press and hold the number 7 for 3 seconds to mute
sound on the appliance. Press and hold the number
7 for 3 seconds to turn the sound back on. The
display will show either “On” or “OFF”.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE

MICA SHEET
Inside the appliance there is a cardboard mica
sheet protecting the magnetron. Do not remove this
from the appliance as exposing the magnetron to
food splatters can cause arcing or fire. If it becomes
dirty, the mica sheet can be cleaned with a warm
cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING

DISPOSAL
This product should not be treated as ordinary
household waste, it should be transported to the
appropriate collection point for the recycling of
electrical components. For information on local
waste collection points, contact your local waste
disposal agency or government office.

• Cooking time or power level were insufficient
• Food was not turned or stirred during cooking
Overcooked food • The power level or cooking time were too high
Undercooked food • Food was not completely defrosted before cooking
• Cooking time or power level were insufficient
• Food was not turned or stirred during cooking
• Ventilation openings are blocked
Poor defrosting • Defrosting time or power level were insufficient
• Food was not turned or stirred during defrosting
Reset buttons are illuminated • There is no power to the outlet due to excessive power load.
Unplug the device and press the reset button to restore
power to the outlet.

INTIRION a division of Danby Products Limited, is pleased to provide a comprehensive warranty on these
products and takes pride in its products and manufacturing standards. INTIRION maintains this quality
product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that
the unit is used under the normal operating conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the original purchaser.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
During the first seven (7) years all microwave mechanical components including the magnetron of this
product found to be defective, will be promptly repaired or replaced, at INTIRONS option, at no charge to
the original purchaser.

MicroFridge® with Safe Plug® warranty services are performed by INTIRION authorized service
providers. INTIRION expects prompt, courteous and efficient service. INTIRION further expects that all
authorized service providers will make every reasonable effort to enhance the image and reputation of
INTIRION and its products. Inadequate service or customer dissatisfaction should be promptly reported to
INTIRION.
EXCLUSIONS
Save as herein provided by INTIRION, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations or
guarantees, express or implied, made or intended by INTIRION or its authorized distributors and all
other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditions,
representations or guarantees under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statute is hereby expressly
excluded. Save as herein provided, INTIRION shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or
property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the
malfunction of the unit and by the purchase of the unit. The purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and
hold harmless iNTIRION from any claim for damages to persons or property caused by the unit.
Damage initiated by sparks or fires caused by inappropriate material inside the microwave oven are
specifically excluded from this warranty. INTIRION assumes no liability and does not guarantee or warrant
any repairs and/or replacement parts not supplied or performed by an authorized service provider,
damage caused by failure to follow the owner’s manual as to adjustments and/or maintenance, customer
adjustments that are not covered in the instruction booklet, broken or marred cabinet, misuse, neglect,
accident, fire, flood or other acts of nature.
Nothing within this warranty shall imply that INTIRION will be responsible or liable for any spoilage or
damage to food or other contents of this appliance, whether due to any defect of the appliance, or its use,
whether proper or improper.
The warranty period begins on the date of sale and proof of that date (evidenced by an original sales slip
or bill of sale) will be necessary to initiate a warranty claim.

Lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, les précautions de sécurité de base doivent être suivies, y
compris les suivantes:
ATTENTION - Pour réduire les risques de brûlures, de chocs électriques, d’incendie, de blessures
corporelles ou d’exposition à une énergie hyperfréquence excessive:
1. Lisez toutes les instructions avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
2. Lisez et suivez les “PRÉCAUTIONS POUR ÉVITER L’EXPOSITION POSSIBLE À L’ÉNERGIE MICRO-
ONDES EXCESSIVES” qui se trouvent à la page 16.
3. Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Connectez seulement à une prise correctement mise à la
terre. Voir la section “INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE” à la page 16.
4. Installez ou localisez cet appareil uniquement conformément aux instructions d’installation
fournies.
5. Certains produits tels que des œufs entiers et des récipients scellés - par exemple, des bocaux en
verre fermés - peuvent exploser et ne doivent pas être chauffés dans ce four.
6. Utilisez cet appareil uniquement pour l’utilisation prévue, comme décrit dans ce manuel.
N’utilisez pas de produits chimiques corrosifs contenant des vapeurs dans cet appareil. Ce type
de four est spécialement conçu pour chauffer, cuire ou sécher des aliments. Il n’est pas conçu
pour un usage industriel ou de laboratoire.
7. Comme pour tout appareil, une surveillance étroite est nécessaire lorsqu’il est utilisé par des
enfants.
8. N’utilisez pas cet appareil si son cordon ou sa fiche est endommagé, s’il ne fonctionne pas
correctement ou s’il a été endommagé ou tombé.
9. Cet appareil ne doit être entretenu que par du personnel qualifié. Contacter le centre de service
agréé le plus proche pour un examen, une réparation ou un réglage.
10. Ne pas couvrir ou bloquer les ouvertures de l’appareil.
11. Ne rangez pas cet appareil à l’extérieur. N’utilisez pas ce produit près de l’eau, par
exemple près d’un évier de cuisine, dans un sous-sol humide, à proximité d’une piscine ou d’un
emplacement similaire.
12. Ne plongez pas le cordon d’alimentation et ne le branchez pas dans de l’eau.
13. Garder le cordon loin de la surface chauffée.
14. Ne laissez pas le cordon pendre au bord de la table ou du comptoir.
15. Non plus
1) Lorsque vous nettoyez les surfaces de la porte et du four, fermez la porte en utilisant
uniquement des savons doux et non abrasifs ou du détergent appliqué avec une éponge ou un
chiffon doux.
2) Voir les instructions de nettoyage de la surface de la porte en page 24.
16. Pour réduire le risque d’incendie dans la cavité du four:
1) Ne pas trop cuire la nourriture. Assister avec attention à l’appareil lorsque du papier, du
plastique ou d’autres matériaux combustibles sont placés à l’intérieur du four pour faciliter la
cuisson.
2) Enlevez les torsades de fil du papier ou du sac en plastique avant de placer le sac dans le
four.
3) Si le matériel à l’intérieur du four s’enflamme, gardez la porte du four fermée, éteignez le
four, débranchez le cordon d’alimentation ou coupez le courant au niveau du fusible ou du
panneau du disjoncteur.
4) N’utilisez pas la cavité pour le stockage. Ne laissez pas de produits en papier, d’ustensiles de
cuisine ou de nourriture dans la cavité lorsqu’ils ne sont pas utilisés.
Les liquides tels que l’eau, le café ou le thé peuvent surchauffer au-delà du point d’ébullition sans
avoir l’air de bouillir. Un bullage visible ou une ébullition lorsque le récipient est retiré du micro-
ondes n’est pas toujours présent. CELA POURRAIT ENTRAÎNER DES LIQUIDES TRÈS CHAUDS QUI
BOUILLONNENT ABONDAMMENT LORSQUE LE RÉCIPIENT EST TROUÉ OU QU’UN USTENSILE
EST INSÉRÉ DANS LE LIQUIDE.

MICRO-ONDES EXCESSIVE
(a) N’essayez pas d’utiliser ce four avec la porte ouverte car le fonctionnement
à porte ouverte peut entraîner une exposition dangereuse à l’énergie des micro-
ondes. Il est important de ne pas vaincre ou altérer les verrouillages de sécurité.
(b) Ne placez aucun objet entre la face avant du four et la porte, et ne laissez
pas de résidus de saleté ou de produit nettoyant s’accumuler sur les surfaces
d’étanchéité.
(c) N’utilisez pas le four s’il est endommagé. Il est particulièrement important
que la porte du four se ferme correctement et que la porte (courbée) ne soit pas
abîmée; 2) les charnières et loquets (cassés ou desserrés); 3) les joints de porte et
les surfaces d’étanchéité.
(d) Le four ne doit pas être ajusté ou réparé par quiconque sauf un personnel de
service qualifié.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. En cas de court-circuit électrique, la mise à la terre
réduit le risque de choc électrique en fournissant un fil d’échappement pour le courant
électrique.
Cet appareil est équipé d’un cordon qui a un fil de mise à la terre avec une fiche de mise
à la terre. Le cordon d’alimentation doit être branché sur une prise correctement mise à la
terre. Si la prise est une prise murale standard à 2 broches, il est de votre responsabilité de
la faire remplacer par une prise murale à 3 broches correctement mise à la terre. La plaque
signalétique en série indique la tension et la fréquence auxquelles l’appareil est conçu.
AVERTISSEMENT - Une utilisation incorrecte de la prise de terre peut entraîner un risque de
choc électrique. Consultez un électricien qualifié ou un agent d’entretien si les instructions
de mise à la terre ne sont pas complètement comprises ou s’il existe un doute quant à la
mise à la terre de l’appareil.
Ne connectez pas votre appareil aux rallonges électriques ou à un autre appareil dans la
même prise murale. Ne pas épisser le cordon d’alimentation. Ne coupez et ne retirez en
aucun cas la troisième broche de masse du cordon d’alimentation.
Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son
agent de service ou une personne qualifiée similaire afin d’éviter tout risque.
Demandez à un électricien qualifié d’installer une prise mise à la terre près de l’appareil si
le cordon d’alimentation est trop court.
Un cordon d’alimentation court est fourni afin de réduire les risques résultant de
l’enchevêtrement ou de l’enchevêtrement d’un cordon plus long.

SÉCURITÉ - LIQUIDE SURCHAUFFÉ
Les liquides peuvent être surchauffés au-delà du
point d’ébullition sans que cela soit apparent, en
raison de la tension superficielle du liquide. Le
bouillonnement visible occasionné par l’ébullition
n’est donc pas toujours présent, lorsque le liquide
est retiré de l’appareil. Une brusque ébullition
pourrait donc se déclencher, lorsqu’un ustensile ou
un autre objet, tel un sachet de thé, est inséré dans
le liquide surchauffé.
Pour réduire le risque de blessure :
• Ne pas surchauffer les liquides. Ne pas chauffer
aucun liquide pendant plus de 2 minutes par
tasse.
• Incorporer les liquides avant ou à mi-chemin du
chauffage.
• N’utilisez pas de récipients à surfaces rectilignes
et à cols étroits, car cela peut entraîner une
accumulation de vapeur.
• Le liquide surchauffé peut commencer à entrer
en ébullition spontanément, lorsqu’il est retiré du
four à micro-ondes. Après le chauffage, laissez
le liquide reposer dans le four à micro-ondes
pendant 30 secondes.
• Soyez particulièrement prudent lorsque vous
insérez un ustensile ou tout autre objet dans des
liquides chauds.
Le contenu des bouteilles de lait et des pots
d’aliments pour bébés doit être secoué ou remué et
la température doit être vérifiée avant l’utilisation,
afin d’éviter les brûlures.
Ne pas décongeler les boissons congelées, en
particulier les boissons gazeuses, dans cet appareil
car elles pourraient exploser.
Les aliments chauds et la vapeur peuvent causer des
brûlures. Faites attention lorsque vous ouvrez un
récipient qui a été chauffé dans l’appareil. Diriger
l’ouverture des mains et du visage pour éviter les
brûlures.
SÉCURITÉ - PRODUCTION D’ÉTINCELLES
La production d’étincelles à l’intérieur du four à
micro-ondes pendant qu’il fonctionne est causée
par:
• Métal ou feuille d’aluminium à l’intérieur de
l’appareil.
• Essuie-tout recyclés, contenant de petits
morceaux de métal, utilisés à l’intérieur de
l’appareil.
Lorsque vous constatez la présence d’étincelles,
arrêtez l’appareil et retirez-en les objets métalliques
ou les essuie-tout.
INTERFÉRENCE AUX FRÉQUENCES RADIO
ÉLECTRIQUES
Cet appareil génère et utilise des fréquences radio
ISM et, s’il n’est pas installé et utilisé correctement
en stricte conformité avec les instructions du
fabricant, il peut causer des interférences au
niveau de la réception des appareils de radio et de
télévision. Il a été testé et s’est avéré conforme aux
limites relatives aux équipements ISM, telles que
définies à la partie 18 des règles de la FCC, qui
fournissent les balises d’une protection raisonnable
contre ces interférences dans une installation
résidentielle.
Cependant, rien ne garantit que des interférences
ne se produiront pas dans des installations
particulières. Si cet appareil produit des
interférences avec la réception de la radio ou de la
télévision, ce qui peut être vérifié en éteignant et en
allumant l’appareil, l’interférence peut être corrigée
en appliquant l’une ou plusieurs des méthodes
suivantes :
• Réorienter l’antenne de réception de la radio ou
de la télévision.
• Déplacer le four à micro-ondes loin du
récepteur.
• Brancher le four à micro-ondes dans une
prise différente, afin que les micro-ondes et
le récepteur se trouvent sur des circuits de
dérivation différents.
Le fabricant n’est pas responsable des interférences
radio ou TV causées par une modification non
autorisée de cet appareil. Il incombe à l’utilisateur
de corriger ces interférences.
