-Mount on top of machine using double sided tape or fasteners

Door magnet jumper(s) will need to be used if fewer than 6 door magnets are installed.
Lathe E-Stop & M Code Integration
A qualified technician will perform integration of M-Code and E-stop statuses from the
lathe to the control station.

Laser Control Station Mobility
The laser control station has been designed with portability in mind. When moving the
system from one machine to another, disconnect all connectors (E-Stop, M-Code, & All
door magnets)
Each machine intended to operate with laser assisted machining will have to be setup
with laser barriers and appropriate lathe integration connectivity. Please contact Micro-
LAM for additional integration services.

Laser Status Screen –Always Active when Laser is ON
The Laser Toggle Button is also disabled when the machine M-Code command is
active to prevent accidental laser closure.
Note: If program stopped while running an active M43.1 (Laser ON Command),
the operator will have to reset laser by commanding M44.1 (Laser OFF
Command) before the M43.1 command can be reused.

Laser Control Station Master Settings Page
Click the top left corner to access the master settings page
Click LOGIN –The default factory password is set to 526
Click NEXT

Power Increment Levels –Default increment/decrement value can be set to 1, 2 or 3
M-20 Bypass –If active, lathe MCode will have no effect on emission ON/OFF
Output Power Limit –Emissions have been restricted to 24% by default. Change with
caution!
Emission Automatic Shutdown Delay Time - Default set to 100 mins. (After 100 minutes
of inactivity the laser will turn off).
Warning Buzzer - May be turned ON or OFF based on customer preference

Electrical Maintenance Procedures
To troubleshoot any electrical integration, the electrical compartment may be accessed
by lifting the top panel off of the control station.
(To be performed by qualified personnel only.)
Remove the 4 M6 screws that secure the monitor before removing the top panel.
Remove the 5/16-32 socket head caps screws that secure the top panel.
