Unpacking and Inspection
1. Open the Accessories Box carton and remove the contents.
2. Ensure all contents listed in the table above are present in the
box.
3. Do not use any component if it appears damaged.

MP3014 Stimulus Connection Box
This connection box provides stimulus outputs for Intra-cardiac
Channels 1 and 2 stimulation and sensing channels via four 2mm
shrouded banana sockets. Ensure that only shrouded 2mm plugs
are used to mate with these sockets in compliance with the
IEC60601-1 medical safety standard.
The stimulus outputs may be connected directly to 3
rd
party
Stimulus Input sockets by suitable 2mm banana shrouded cables.
MP3313 External ECG Cable, 7m
This cable is for the connection of amplified ECG signal from a third
party ECG Monitor to ECG1_INPUT on the rear of the Stimulus
Generator Unit (MP3008).
MP3058 Yellow/Red Test LED
This is a helpful test component consisting of a yellow and a red LED
wired in parallel and terminated in a red(+ve) and a black(-ve) 2mm
banana plugs.
It is useful for testing for the presence of stimulus output at the
Stimulus Connection Box and at patient interface connectors.
Connect red plug to positive and black plug to negative pacing
terminals. Pace at 10mA to 20mA, 10ms for brightest indication.
Yellow LED flashes when pacing pulses are present and correct
polarity; red LED flashes when pacing is present but with incorrect
polarity, no flashing light indicates absence of pacing pulses – there
is a break in the circuit between the stimulator and this point.
This component may be useful for diagnosing the location of the fault
when a failure to pace problem arises.
