both sides of the junction box area.
RLM30-L530-1 - 10 Gauge wiring (minimum) must be used for
feeder wiring
-30 Amp (maximum) branch circuit protection is
required.
RLM30-L520-1 - 12 Gauge wiring (minimum) must be used for
feeder wiring
-20 Amp (maximum) branch circuit
protection is required.
Field wiring connections are to be terminated in the junction
box section of the module, using appropriate size wire
nuts. (not included)
CONNECT TO 120 VOLTS A.C. (NOMINAL),

1 Modules contain one receptacle. There are 2 types available:
A. NEMA L-530 B. NEMA L-520
2 This is a "common" terminal. It is the connection point for the - 12VDC when controlling the
module with 12VDC (working in conjunction with 3 ). This is also one side of a "dry switch
closure", when controlling the module with a switch closure (working in conjunction with 6 ).
3 This is the + terminal. It is the connection point for the +12VDC (when controlling the module with
12VDC).
4 5 These terminals are connected to the module's isolated internal status relay contacts. These relay
contacts are "closed" whenever the receptacle is "on". These contacts will handle up to .5 amps,
and can be used as feedback for controllers or status indicators, etc.
6 This terminal works in conjunction with terminal 2 . These terminals ( 2 + 6 ) will control the
modules with a simple dry switch closure. The control power is conveniently provided by the
module's internal 12VDC power supply.
7 Yellow status LED. This will illuminate whenever the control mode switch 9 is in the "Auto"
position. This is
an indication that the internal power supply is functioning and that the module will respond to a
dry contact closure.
8 Green status LED. This will illuminate whenever the status relays are energized.
NOTE: This LED may be illuminated when there is no power source and only the status relay is
energized.
9 Control mode Switch. This is a local 3 position slide switch
Position #1 Auto - the module will activate "on" when a 12V control signal or dry contact is
supplied.
Position #2 Off - the module will not respond to any control signal, and the module will not be
activated.
Position #3 On - the module will be activated "on" and control signals
will have no effect.
