1. Locate the stud center and adjacent stud center where you wish to locate your mount arm.
2. Use a level on top of supplied template (D) to mark 2 holes for each stud. (FIGURE B)

3. Use a 3/16” (4.5 mm) bit to drill pilot holes into the markings to a 2.2” (55 mm) depth. (FIGURE C)

Mark 4 Holes
1. Using supplied hex wrench (E), loosen the top 2 flange nuts and remove the bottom nut.
2. Tilt the bottom of display support out and slide up to remove from display arm as shown.

1. Use a level on top of the supplied template (D) to mark 6 holes on the concrete where you wish to
locate your mount arm. (FIGURE E)

2. Use a 3/8” (10 mm) bit to drill pilot holes into the markings to a 2.4” (60 mm) depth. (FIGURE F)

4. Use (4x) hex head screws (G) and (4x) washers (M) to attach the mount arm to the stud wall as

3. Use (6x) wall anchors (H), (6x) hex head screws (G), and (4x) washers (M) to mount arm to the
wall as shown. (FIGURE G)
1. Attach (2x) mount arm covers (C) to the mount arm as shown. (FIGURE H)
1. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the ends of the horizontal support as
shown. (FIGURE J)

The VDM-600-M & VDM-800-M display mounts are supplied with
a Proximity Series Mounting Plate PRX-MP-9X12.
Before installing display mounting brackets to your display,
follow the supplied mounting plate installation instructions I-00804
to find the best location for mounting your plate.

2. Slide the (2x) display mounting brackets (B) onto the horizontal support as shown. (FIGURE K)
2. Reattach the 4 screws to the ends of the horizontal support as shown. (FIGURE L)
Attaching to a Flat Back Display
1. Use (4x) rectangular washers (J) and (4x) display mount screws (M-A through M-K) to match the
correct screw depth for your display and attach the mounting brackets to your display ensuring
screw does not bottom out in mounting hole, or damage to display may occur. If you feel resistance,
stop immediately and try a shorter screw. If supplied screws are still too long, use supplied spacers
to take up slack. (FIGURE M)
2. Tighten the screws on the lower ends of the mounting brackets as shown. (FIGURE M)

Attaching to a Recessed Back Display
1. Use (4x) rectangular washers (J), small and/or (4x) spacers (K) and (L) as desired, and
(4x) display mount screws (M-A - M-K) to match the correct screw depth for your display and
attach the mounting brackets to your display ensuring screw does not bottom out in mounting hole,
or damage to display may occur. If you feel resistance, stop immediately and try a shorter screw.
If supplied screws are still too long, use supplied spacers to take up slack. (FIGURE P)
2. Tighten the screws on the lower ends of the mounting brackets as shown. (FIGURE P)
1. Carefully use the top bolts (with the flange nuts attached) to tilt and hook the horizontal display
support into the top slots on the end of the arm as shown. (FIGURE R)

1. Loosen the upper levers and lower flange nuts (if needed) using supplied hex wrench (E) to adjust
the tilt on your display as shown. Once desired tilt angle is achieved, retighten levers and hex nut
to lock display in position.

2. Use a level on top of the display and the supplied hex wrench (E), make any fine adjusments and
tighten the top flange nuts as shown. (FIGURE S)
3. Attach and tighten the lower flange nuts as shown. (FIGURE T)
