Thank you for purchasing the VDM-CA-IBEAM-BK I-Beam ceiling mount.
Please read these instructions thoroughly before installing or assembling these products.

2. Loosely install all hardware and brackets to I-Beam mount ensuring clamp bracket (B) and
L-Bracket (C) slides freely in adjustment slots as shown. (FIGURE B)
3. Tighten (2x) carriage bolts (D) and hex nuts (G) assembled in selected fixed holes in mount
as shown.
1. Align I-Beam with the center of I-Beam bracket (A) and select the set of holes closest to flange of
beam which will be used to install clamp brackets as shown. (FIGURE A)

2. Insert threaded rod (E) through pipe support and L-Bracket (C) as shown. (FIGURE D)
3. Install (2x) 10MM hex nuts (H) onto both ends and tighten until clamp brackets (B) are firmly against
the I-Beam flange.
4. Tighten (4x) hex head bolts (F) firmly onto I-Beam flange to clamp assembly in place.
5. Tighten preinstalled (4x) carriage bolt (D) and hex nuts (G) to complete assembly.
1. Place I-Beam ceiling mount assembly over I-Beam flange and push clamp brackets together to
clamp mount assembly in place. (FIGURE C)

1. To install 1 1/2’ NPSM pipe extension to unistrut mount assembly, thread pipe into coupler (M)
as far as it will go. (FIGURE E)
2. Insert (4x) set screws (J or K) into both sides of coupler and then tighten using hex key (L) to
prevent pipe from turning.
NOTE: Hex wrench supplied can be
used for both standard and security
set screws.
