(1) Preface
Congratulations on your purchase of MIDITECH K32s. K32s is a petite appearance and
powerful MIDI keyboard, portable and powerful MIDI function, is a cost-effective products,
worth you have. Next to introduce K32s function and operating, it set powerful MIDI
functions, Includes 32 key miniature keyboard, touch pitch bend , clipper potentiometer,
unlimited rotation data regulator , octave buttons (Up & Down), setup button(Shift) and
two PAD . The keyboard of composite function, includes transpose (-7 ~ 0 ~ +7),
reverberation function selection, three velocity curves and number 0~9 . Left pannel have
pedal input jack , USB socket and phone out . K32s comes with MIDI sound source to
support external amplifier or headphone output. You can play internal GM sound when
USB cable connected or you can play internal GM sound without USB cable connecting
just use 3 of “Rechargeable” Ni-MH AA batteries ( not include ) also can charge Ni-MH
AA batteries when USB cable connected . K32s support apple system and the Microsoft
Windows XP/7/8 system, do not need to install the USB driver, the system can directly
identify the MIDI USB devices.

4.1 PAD1:
This button has two modes :
1. Modulation Wheel.
2. Sustain ON/OFF.
Switch to Modulation : “Shift”button and “PAD1”are pressing until “Shift”LED flash
red.

Switch to Sustain : “Shift”button and “PAD1”are pressing until “Shift”LED flash
blue.
4.2 Touch Pitch Bend wheel:
Transmits MIDI Pitch Bend information to raise or lower the pitch of a note
temporarily.
4.3 PAD2:
This button has two modes :
1. Modulation Wheel.
2. Sustain ON/OFF.
Switch to Modulation : “Shift”button and “PAD2”are pressing until “Shift”LED flash
RED.
Switch to Sustain : “Shift”button and “PAD2”are pressing until “Shift”LED flash
BLUE.
4.4 Octave buttons(DOWN& UP):
Octave buttons(DOWN& UP),can be used to enlarge the 0-key to 88-key or
more。Everytime to reduce or increase an octave(the default value of 4).
1. To reduce an octave (octave value less than 4)”OCTAVE DOWN” LED light:
3, ”OCTAVE DOWN” LED light YELLOW
2, ”OCTAVE DOWN” LED light CYAN
1, ”OCTAVE DOWN” LED light PURPLE
2. To increase an octave (octave is greater than 4)”OCTAVE UP”LED light:
5, ”OCTAVE UP” LED light YELLOW
6, ”OCTAVE UP” LED light CYAN
7, ”OCTAVE UP” LED light PURPLE
3. When Octaves Value is 4,”OCTAVE UP” LED and ”OCTAVE DOWN”LED
light down . At the same time press ”OCTAVE DOWN” & “OCTAVE UP”
buttons,the octaves value return to the default value(4)。
4.5 Shift:
Composite function button, When Press and hold down “Shift”,LED light YELLOW,
the composite function is ON (Release the button is OFF):
1. “Shift”+ Encoder : Change to GM Sound (1~128 or 211~215) of MIDI channel 1.
(Turn left is reduction)
2. “Shift”+ “OCTAVE DOWN”: To reduce GM Sound of MIDI channel 1.
3. “Shift”+ “OCTAVE UP”: To increase GM Sound of MIDI channel 1.
4. “Shift”+ (“PAD1”/ ”PAD2”) : Switch with Modulation / Sustain of PAD1/PAD2.

5. “Shift”+ Keyboard’s <Transpose -7~0~+7 > : Change to MIDI notes transpose.
6. “Shift”+ Keyboard’s <Touch Soft ~ Hard > : Change to MIDI notes velocity
curve (normal curve is default ).
7. “Shift”+ Keyboard’s <Reverb ON/OFF > :Reverb ON/OFF for internal GM
sound.(off~50%~100% : “Shift”LED --- 50% with 100% light GREEN , off light
RED)
8. “Shift”+ Keyboard’s <Number 0~9 > : Change to GM Sound (1~128 or 211~215)
of MIDI channel 1. For example , change to GM Sound 120 , “Shift”is ON , +
“Number 1”first , “Number 2”second , then “Number 0”, press “Enter”in the
end , “Shift”LED Flash GREEN.
The Number in 1~128 or 211~215 , press “Enter”, “Shift”LED flash correct
color GREEN.
On the other wise , “Shift”LED flash wrong color RED.
9. “Shift”+ “OCTAVE DOWN”+ “OCTAVE UP”: Hold on these buttons for 2
second . Save the changed parameters. “Shift”, “OCTAVE DOWN”and
“OCTAVE UP”LED flash PURPLE.
10. “Shift”+ “PAD1”+ “PAD2”: Hold on these buttons for 3 second . Reset the
changed parameters. “Shift”, “OCTAVE DOWN”and “OCTAVE UP”LED flash
RED.
4.6 Clipper potentiometer (Slider):
The potentiometer can adjust the specific MIDI controller message. K32s send CC
#15Hex.
And send TVF cutoff freq modify for internal GM sound.
4.7 Unlimited rotation data regulator (Encoder):
Unlimited rotation data regulator to send specific MIDI controller message, K32s
send CC #16Hex . When “Shift”is on , change to GM Sound.
4.8 Electricity LED:
When “Rechargeable”Ni-MH batteries installed:
1. Electricity 50%~100% light GREEN .
2. Electricity 20%~50% light YELLOW.
3. Electricity 0%~20% light RED.
When K32s charging and power switch is OFF, electricity LED flash.
4.9 Power switch with volume regulator:
Power switch when battery-powered .(Turn right is ON)
Adjust the internal GM sound volume , turn right for volume up , turn left for
volume down.
4.10 Composite function :Transpose -7~0~+7:
“Shift”+ Keyboard’s <Transpose -7~0~+7 > : Change to MIDI notes transpose

4.11 Composite function :Velocity curve:
Change to MIDI notes velocity curve (normal curve is default )
4.12 Composite function :Reverb ON/OFF:
Reverb ON/OFF for internal GM sound.(off~50%~100% : “Shift”LED --- 50% with
100% light GREEN , off light RED).
4.13 Composite function : Number 0~9:
Change to GM Sound (1~128 or 211~215) of MIDI channel 1. For example ,
change to GM Sound 120 , “Shift”is ON , + “Number 1”first , “Number 2”second ,
then “Number 0”, press “Enter”in the end , “Shift”LED Flash GREEN.
The Number in 1~128 or 211~215 , press “Enter”, “Shift”LED flash correct color
GREEN. On the other wise , “Shift”LED flash wrong color RED
4.14 Composite function : Enter Key:
Refer to 4.13.
4.15 Sustain pedal Jack:
Connect to the pedal jack.
4.16 Mini USB Jack:
Connect to the mini USB wire . K32s is power for USB and charging when
“Rechargeable”Ni-MH batteries installed.
4.17 3.5mm Headphone Jack:
Connect to the headphone . External speaker mute of K32s when connect to the
headphone.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS:
Operating conditions
Do not use the keyboard near water, like a swimming pool, bathtub or in wet environment like rain.
Do not use the keyboard near heating elements like a radiator, in high temperatures or in the sun.
Use the product only on your desk and in a dry environment. Do not throw the product.
DANGER! Electric shock due to short circuit
The device must not be used as soon as damage or the absence of components, protective
devices or housing parts is noticed! Avoid getting the device wet. This can damage the electronics a
nd there is a risk of electric shock or fire. Do not modify the power cord or USB cable.
DANGER! FIRE HAZARD! Ensure that the product is adequately ventilated to prevent
overheating and possible ignition. Also, do not smoke or handle open flames near the product. This
may cause the plastic to ignite.
DANGER! Hearing damage due to volume
Our products have a lot to do with the production and reproduction of music and recordings. Please
note that excessive volume levels can damage your hearing!
DANGER for babies and children
Ensure that children never use the product unattended! Children should not operate the product
unattended. If small parts such as buttons or potentiometers become detached from the product,
they can be swallowed by small children. Foils and packaging must be disposed of properly. There
is a danger of suffocation for children.
Cleaning the Miditech product
Only use a dry cloth for cleaning and suitable plastic cleaners, never aggressive
cleaners or alcohol. Disconnect the device from the power supply before use.
Protection of the environment and correct disposal
Information for consumers on the disposal of old electrical
appliances
If this symbol is on the packaging, the packaging of the product can be disposed of in the local
recycling process.
Miditech products should not be disposed of with normal household waste. This applies to all
