The water level must be
between the MAX. and
MIN. marks! If the kettle is
overfilled, boiling water may
be ejected, which might

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
COMPONENTS:
Using your appliance
Cleaning and Maintenance
Plug the kettle in the electricity wall socket.
Fill the kettle with water and place it level on the base so that contact is established
with the power connection.
Switch on the kettle using the ON/OFF switch. The kettle cannot be switched ON if it is
not properly seated on the base.
Do not fill the kettle with more than 1.7L, but do fill it with at least 0.5L of water.
The kettle is automatically switched OFF when the water boils. However, it can also be
turned ON and OFF at any time with the ON/OFF switch.
After an adequate cooling- off period, the water can once again be brought to a boil by
turning ON the switch.
The kettle can be taken off the base when the switch is in the OFF setting.
Always disconnect the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the kettle and the base.
Wipe the kettle and base with a moist cloth and a drop of washing liquid.
Never use an abrasive material or steel wool as these may damage the surface.
Descale the kettle regularly, possibly once a week, depending on the hardness of the
water and the frequency of use. Scale diminishes the heating performance of the kettle.
To descale, Fill 200ml with water and as much of vinegar. Bring to a boil and then leave
it to stand overnight. Next day pour away and fill the kettle with fresh water and bring to a
boil again. This water must also be poured away.
Normal commercial descales for kettles can also be used. Follow the instructions for the
respective descale material.

Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Before
using the kettle for the first time, fill it with water, bring it to a boil and then pour it away.
Repeat this process two or three times. Use only water without any additives.

If your product doesn't work, check that:
• It is well connected to the wall socket.
• It is correctly positioned on its base.
• The ON/OFF switch is set to the "ON" position.
• The kettle has not been operated without water.
- Fill the appliance with cold water, wait for 1 minute, then try again.
- If your appliance only works intermittently or stops before reaching the boiling point, it
may require descaling.

Vous êtes priés de lire attentivement ces instructions et de les conserver dans un endroit sûr.
Avant d'utiliser la bouilloire pour la première fois, remplissez-la d’eau et faites l’eau bouillir puis
versez l’eau bouillante. Faites répéter ce processus deux ou trois fois. Utilisez uniquement de
l'eau sans aucun additif.
• Branchez la base au courant électrique.
• Remplissez la bouilloire avec de l'eau et placez-la sur la base afin de la mettre en contact
avec le courant électrique.
• Mettez la bouilloire en marche en appuyant sur l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt. La bouilloire ne
peut pas être mise en marche si elle n’est pas correctement placée sur la base.
• Ne remplissez pas la bouilloire plus de 1.7L d’eau, mais assurez-vous à tout moment qu’elle
contient au moins 0.5L d’eau.
• La bouilloire s'arrête automatiquement lorsque l'eau a bouilli. Toute fois, la bouilloire peut être
mise en marche ou en arrêt grâce à l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt.
• Après avoir laissé la bouilloire refroidir suffisamment longtemps, vous pouvez recommencer
à bouillir votre eau en appuyant sur l’interrupteur marche/arrêt.
• La bouilloire peut être détachée de sa base après avoir été mise en arrêt.

Utilisation de votre appareil
Avant d'utiliser votre appareil, vous devez vous familiariser avec les différentes parties de
votre appareil. Les chiffres correspondent aux différents composants de votre appareil,
représenté ci-dessous.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN:
• Débranchez toujours la prise du courant avant de nettoyer votre bouilloire et sa base.
• Essuyez la bouilloire et sa base à l’aide d’un chiffon humide et d’une goutte de savon liquide.
• N’utilisez jamais de laine en acier ou de matières abrasives ; car ceux-ci peuvent
endommager la surface.
• Faites détartrer la bouilloire régulièrement, éventuellement une fois par semaine, selon la
dureté de l'eau et la fréquence d'utilisation. Les dépôts calcaires diminuent la qualité de
chauffage de la bouilloire.
• Pour détartrer, remplissez la bouilloire avec 200ml d'eau et autant de vinaigre. Faites-la
bouillir puis laissez ce mélange reposer pendant une nuit. Le lendemain, videz ce mélange et
remplissez la bouilloire avec de l'eau fraîche. Faites-la bouillir à nouveau et videz cette eau
encore une fois.
• Vous pouvez utiliser les matériaux normales commerciales de détartrage aussi afin de
détartrer votre bouilloire. Suivez les instructions de la matière de détartrage utilisée.

Dépannage:
Si votre bouilloire ne fonctionne pas, vérifiez que :
Elle est bien raccordée à une prise de courant électrique.
Elle est correctement posée sur sa base.
L’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt est sur la position " Marche".
La bouilloire n'a pas fonctionné précédemment sans eau.
- Remplissez l'appareil avec de l'eau froide, attendez une minute, puis réessayez.
- Si votre bouilloire fonctionne de manière irrégulière ou s’éteint avant d'atteindre le point
d'ébullition, elle peut avoir besoin de détartrage.
