Intended use
The device is intended for use indoors and outdoors in a private
domestic environment and not for commercial use.

Safety instructions
Children or other individuals who do not know or have no
experience of handling this device, or whose physical, sensory
or mental abilities are restricted, must not use the device with-
out supervision or instruction by an individual responsible for
their safety. Children must never be allowed to play with the
device. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

As the device generates heat, its use in the sur-
roundings of all highly inflammable or explosive
liquids or gases is prohibited.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not touch the
metal grille while the appliance is in operation. A
small residual charge still exists a few minutes after
the device has been switched off.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! The risk of an
electric shock can arise if water from a garden
hose is directed onto the device.
WARNING! The bulb in this appliance cannot be replaced.
Should the bulb no longer function, the appliance must be
disposed of.
Never open or insert anything into electrical fittings or equipment.
Doing this sort of thing can lead to a serious danger to life
from electric shock.
In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the
device, please contact an electrician.
Do not use the appliance in rooms in which there is a danger
of fire, e.g. rooms in which flammable or explosive vapours or
dusts may be present (e.g. in stables, barns or paint shops).
ATTENTION! When the product is used in an outdoor environ-
ment, it may also kill other kinds of insects including protected
and valuable insects, like bees and butterflies.
Never use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bath,
shower or swimming pool.
Safety Instructions for Batteries
Remove the batteries from the device if they have not been
used for a long period.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The
batteries must never be recharged!
When inserting the battery, ensure the correct polarity! This is
shown in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the contacts on the batteries and on the
device before inserting them.

Remove a spent battery immediately from the device. There is
an increased danger of leaks!
If the above instructions are not complied with, the batteries
may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage. There is
then a danger of leaking. If the batteries have leaked inside
your device, you should remove them immediately in order to
prevent damage to the device!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is obliged to dispose of batteries properly in
accordance with the regulations!
Keep batteries away from children. Do not throw batteries into
a fire. Never short-circuit them or take them apart.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Any parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid
should be rinsed off with copious amounts of water and/or a
doctor contacted if necessary!
The batteries may explode if they have been
improperly replaced. Ensure that only batteries of the same
type are used.
Inserting/replacing batteries
To do this, proceed as shown in Fig. B.
Operation
The UV light attracts the insects and contact with the electric high-
voltage grille 4kills or dehydrates them.
Set up the device at ground level on a dry surface in close
proximity to you. Do not set up the device in draughty places.
Otherwise, the insects will not remain on the device.
Switch the device on (Position I) with the ON /OFF switch 2.
The UV lamp lights up, the high-voltage grille receives current.
Any insects that now fly into the high-voltage grille will be killed.
Switch the device off (position O) with the ON/OFF switch if
you do not use it anymore.
Remove the dead insects by tilting the device and shaking lightly.

Note: Remove the batteries from the device if it is not used over a
longer period of time (e.g. in winter). Otherwise, the batteries
might leak and damage the device. You should wear gloves if the
batteries have leaked inside your device. Clean the battery com-
partment and contacts with a dry cloth afterwards.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For reasons of electrical safety the device must never be
cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water.
Switch the appliance off and allow it to cool down completely
before you clean it.
If the device is subject to heavy use it must be cleaned every
three weeks.
Use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.
Remove the dead insects by tilting the device and shaking lightly.
If insects have got caught in the grille, remove them with a soft
brush.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,
which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of
how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the
product properly when it has reached the end of its
useful life and not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening hours can be
obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with
Directive 2006/66/EC. Return the batteries and/or the device
through the appropriate collection facilities.
Pb
Improper disposal of rechargeable batteries
can damage the environment!
Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste.
They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous
waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for
heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a
local collection point.

Sigurnosne upute
Djeci ili osobama kojima nedostaje znanje ili iskustvo vezano
za rukovanje s uređajem ili čije su tjelesne, senzoričke ili men-
talne sposobnosti ograničene, ne smiju koristiti uređaj bez
nadzora ili uputa osobe koja je zadužena za njihovu sigurnost.

Djeca se moraju nadgledavati, da se ne igraju sa uređajem.
Držite uređaj izvan dohvata djece.
Zbog zagrijavanja je zabranjeno upotrebljavati
uređaj u blizini svih lako zapaljivih ili eksplozivnih
tekućina ili plinova.
OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA! Ne za-
hvaćajte metalne rešetke dok je uređaj u pogonu.
Nekoliko minuta nakon isključenja uređaja još po-
stoji preostali napon.

snost od strujnog udara može nastati, kada se voda
iz vrtnog crijeva usmjeri na uređaj.
UPOZORENJE! Lampica se u ovom uređaju ne može zami-
jeniti. Ako lampica prestane raditi, uređaj se mora odstraniti.
Nemojte nikada otvarati nešto od električne opreme, niti gu-
rati predmete u istu. Takvi zahvati mogu izazvati opasnost po
život uslijed električnog udara.
U slučaju oštećenja, popravaka ili drugih problema na uređaju,
molimo obratite se stručnoj osobi, tj. električaru.
Ne upotrebljavajte uređaj u prostorijama u kojima prijeti opa-
snost od požara, a koje bi mogle sadržavati zapaljive ili ek-
splozivne pare ili prašine (npr. štale, šupe ili hale za lakiranje).
POZOR! Ako uređaj koristite vani, mogu se i druge vrste in-
sekata poubijati, uključujući i korisne insekte kao što su pčele
i leptiri.
Ne koristite nikada uređaj u blizini kade, tuša ili bazena.
Sigurnosne upute za baterije
Izvadite baterije iz uređaja, ako ih niste upotrebljavati duže
vrijeme.
OPREZ! OPASNOST OD EKSPLOZIJE! Ne
punite baterije nikad ponovno!
Pri postavljanju vodite računa o ispravnim polovima! Isto je
prikazana u baterijskom kućištu.
Očistite kontakt na baterijama i kontakt na uređaju ako je po-
trebno, prije umetanja baterija.

Potrošenu bateriju odmah izvadite iz uređaja. Inače prijeti po-
većana opasnost curenja!
Nepoštivanje ovih uputa može prouzročiti pražnjenje baterije
preko napona na kraju pražnjenja. U tom slučaju prijeti opasnost
od iscurivanja. Ukoliko su iscurile baterije u Vašem uređaju,
smjesta otklonite iste, kako bi spriječili oštećenja na uređaju!
Baterije ne pripadaju u kućni otpad!
Svaki potrošač zakonski je obvezan propisno zbrinuti baterije!
Čuvajte baterije izvan dohvata djece, nemojte bacati baterije
u vatru, nemojte ih kratko spajati i nemojte ih rastavljati.
Izbjegavajte dodir s kožom, očima i sluznicama. U slučaju
dodira baterijske kiseline, isperite dotično mjesto sa dostatno
vode i/ili obratite se liječniku!
Postoji opasnost od eksplozije, ako se
baterije nestručno zamijene. Vodite računa da se smiju upotre-
bljavati samo baterije istog tipa.
Umetanje/zamjena baterija
Za to postupite kao što je prikazano na slici B.
Posluživanje
UV-svjetlo primamljuje insekte, a dodir sa električnim visokonapon-
skim rešetkama 4iste uništava tj. isušuje.
Uređaj postavite ravno sa zemljom na suhoj površini u neposred-
noj blizini do vas. Ne stavljajte uređaj na propuh. U protivnom
insekti ne ostaju na uređaju.
Uređaj uključujte sa prekidačem za UKLJUČENO/ISKLJU-
ČENO 2(položaj I). UV-svjetiljka svjetli, visoko naponska
rešetka stoji pod strujom. Insekti, koji lete u visiko naponsku
rešetku se uništavaju.
Isključite uređaj s prekidačem za UKLJUČENO/ISKLJUČENO
(položaj O), ako ga više ne koristite.
Odstranite mrtve insekte, tako da uređaj nagnete i lagano ga
protresete.

Uputa: Odstranite baterije iz uređaja, ako se duže vremena ne
koriste (npr. u zimi). Baterije mogu inaće iscuriti i oštetiti uređaj.
Obucite rukavice, ako je sadržaj baterije u vašem uređaju iscurio.
Zatim očistite pretinac za baterije i kontakte sa suhom krpom.
Čišćenje i održavanje
O PREZ! OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UD ARA!
Zbog električne sigurnosti, zabranjeno je čišćenje uređaja s
vodom ili drugim tekućinama ili čak uranjanje u vodu.
Isključite uređaj i ostavite ga da se potpuno ohladi prije nego
što počnete čistiti.
U slučaju jake prljavštine, potrebno je najmanje svaka 3 tjedna
čistiti uređaj.
Za čišćenje koristite isključivo suhu krpu, bez sitnih vlakanca.
Odstranite mrtve insekte, tako da uređaj nagnete i lagano ga
protresete.
Ako su se insekti zaglavili u rešetki odstranite ih mekanom
četkicom.
Zbrinjavanje otpada
Pakiranje se sastoji od ekološki prihvatljivog materijala,
kojeg možete odložiti preko lokalnih reciklažnih mjesta.
O mogućnostima zbrinjavanja dotrajalog proizvoda možete se in-
formirati pri vašem općinskom ili gradskom komunalnom uredu.
Zbog zaštite okoliša, ne bacajte Vaš istrošeni proizvod
u kućni otpad, već ga predajte stručnom zbrinjavanju.
Informacije o mjestima za sakupljanje otpada i njihovom
radnom vremenu možete dobiti pri Vašem nadležnom
općinskom uredu.

Oštećene ili istrošene baterije potrebno je sukladno smjernici
2006/66/EC predati sustavu reciklaže. Vratite baterije i/ ili
uređaj preko ponuđenih sabirnih ustanova.
Pb
Ugrožavanje okoliša zbog pogrešnog
uklanjanja baterija!
Baterije se ne smiju uklanjati zajedno s kućnim otpadom. Iste mogu
sadržavati otrovne teške metale i obavezno ih uklanjajte sukladno
odredbama za poseban otpad. Kemijski znakovi teških metala su
slijedeći: Cd = kadmij, Hg = živa, Pb = olovo. Stoga predajte istro-
šene baterije na komunalno mjesto za sabiranje otpada.

gospodăriile private și nu pentru uz comercial.

Indicaţii de siguranţă
Copiilor sau persoanelor care nu deţin cunoştinţele sau expe-
rienţa necesară pentru utilizarea aparatului sau care au capa-
cităţile fizice, senzoriale sau mintale limitate le este permis să
utilizeze aparatul numai sub supravegherea sau îndrumarea de
către o persoană responsabilă pentru siguranţa acestora.

Copiii trebuie supravegheaţi pentru a nu se juca cu aparatul.
Nu lăsaţi produsul la îndemâna copiilor.
Datorită faptului că aparatul emană căldură, funcţi-
onarea acestuia în apropierea tuturor lichidelor și
gazelor ușor inflamabile sau explozive, este inter-
zisă.
PERICOL DE ELECTROCUTARE! Nu atingeţi plasa
din metal atunci când, aparatul este în funcţiune. O
sarcină reziduală mică există şi câteva minute după
ce aparatul a fost scos din funcţiune.
PERICOL DE ELECTROCUTARE! Poate apărea
pericolul de electrocutare atunci când se îndreaptă
apa din furtunul de grădină spre aparat.
AVERTIZARE! Becul acestui aparat nu poate fi schimbat. În
cazul în care becul nu mai funcţionează, aparatul trebuie
aruncat.
Nu deschideţi niciodată componentele electrice şi nu introduceţi
obiecte în acestea. Astfel de intervenţii reprezintă pericole de
moarte prin electrocutare.
În caz de deteriorări, lucrări de reparaţii sau alte probleme la
aparat, adresaţi-vă unui electrician.
Nu utilizaţi niciodată aparatul în spaţii cu pericol de incendiu
în care ar putea exista vapori sau prafuri inflamabile (de ex.:
în grajduri, șoproane și vopsitorii).
ATENŢIE! Atunci când utilizaţi aparatul în exterior, pot fi
omorâte și alte tipuri de insecte inclusiv insectele folositoare
cum ar fi albinele sau fluturii.
Nu folosiţi aparatul niciodată în apropierea imediată a unei
căzi, unui duș sau a unei piscine.
Indicaţii de siguranţă
referitoare la baterii
Scoateţi bateriile din aparat dacă nu-l utilizaţi timp îndelungat.
ATENŢIE! PERICOL DE EXPLOZIE! Nu încărcaţi
niciodată bateriile!
La introducerea bateriilor aveţi grijă la polaritatea corectă!
Aceasta este indicată în compartimentul bateriilor.

Dacă este necesar, curăţaţi bateriile şi contactele aparatului
înainte de a introduce bateriile.
Scoateţi bateriile goale din aparat. Există pericol mărit de
scurgere!
În caz de nerespectare a indicaţiilor menţionate mai sus, bate-
riile se pot descărca dincolo de tensiunea lor finală. Atunci
apare pericolul scurgerii. Dacă bateriile s-au scurs în aparatul
dvs., scoateţi-le imediat pentru a împiedica deteriorarea apa-
ratului!
Bateriile nu se elimină la gunoiul menajer!
Fiecare consumator este obligat legal să elimine bateriile în
mod corespunzător!
Nu lăsaţi bateriile la îndemâna copiilor, nu aruncaţi bateriile
în foc, nu scurtcircuitaţi bateriile şi nu le dezasamblaţi.
Evitaţi contactul cu pielea, ochii şi mucoasele. În cazul unui
contact cu acidul din baterie clătiţi locul respectiv cu multă
apă şi/sau apelaţi la un medic!
Apare pericolul de explozie dacă bateriile
se înlocuiesc în mod necorespunzător. Aveţi grijă să utilizaţi
numai baterii de acelaşi tip.
Introducerea/înlocuirea bateriilor
Pentru aceasta procedaţi precum este reprezentat în Fig. B.
Utilizare
Lumina UV atrage insectele iar contactul cu plasa electrică de
înaltă tensiune 4le elimină respectiv le deshidratează.
Așezaţi aparatul în plan drept pe o suprafaţă plană lângă
dumneavoastră. Nu așezaţi aparatul în locuri cu curent. În
caz contrar insectele nu se vor prinde de aparat.
Porniţi aparatul cu ajutorul comutatorului PORNIT/OPRIT 2
(poziţia I). Lampa UV ilumnează, plasa de înaltă tensiune este
alimentată cu curent. Insectele care zboară acum în plasa de
înaltă tensiune vor fi omorâte.
