Please read this manual before operating the LMWiFiPower and keep
it handy.
The most ubiquitous, unnoticeable devices nowadays are chargers.
With the average Joe carrying at least two or three rechargeable
electronic devices on their person every day, chargers are in
abundance everywhere and go without a second glance. The new
LMWifiPower takes advantage of this fact to provide you with one of
our most covert, useful cameras yet!

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR LMWIFIPOWER
OPERATING THE LMWIFIPOWER
BEFORE YOU START
1. First you must download the PV Cam Viewer app from the
Google Play Store or the iPhone App Store.

2. If you wish to enable SD Card recording you must insert a
MicroSD card into the unit.
3. To do so, remove the back panel to reveal the MicroSD card
slot.
CONNECTING TO YOUR DEVICE FOR LOCAL VIEWING
1. Plug the device into an electrical outlet
oNOTE: Device will automatically boot up into motion
detection recording mode as long as there is an SD
card in the unit when you plug it in.
2. Turn WiFi on by sliding the WiFi switch to the left.
3. A blue light will activate while the device is booting up.
4. When the device is booted up, the red and orange lights will
flash on the back of the unit.
5. Turn on your phone’s WiFi and look for the WiFi signal
generated by the device. The WiFi Signal name will match the
ID on the sticker on the bottom of the device.
6. Once the device generates its WiFi signal, connect to it via the
WiFi settings on your phone. The password is 88888888
oNOTE: Some Android devices may produce a warning
that the network has no internet access. If you see this,
choose to connect to the network anyway.
7. After connecting to the WiFi Signal with your mobile device,
open the PV Cam Viewer App.

oNOTE: For iOS devices you must wait until the WiFi
Signal appears next to your Phone Carrier Name in the
status bar at the top of your phone screen.
8. Once the app opens, tap the “Device Management” button.
9. Tap the plus (+) symbol at the top of the screen.
10. Use your device’s camera to scan the QR code on the sticker
on the bottom of the device.
11. All the camera’s information will be filled in automatically
12. Tap “Save”
13. The new camera will be listed in the “Device Management”
screen and will say “Device on-line”
14. Tap the camera to make it your active device and you will be
returned to the home screen of the app.
15. Tap “Recorder Setting” to view the live stream of the camera
video.
16. From this screen, you can choose to use Motion Activated
recording or Normal Mode (continuous recording)
CONNECTING THE DEVICE TO YOUR WIFI FOR REMOTE
VIEWING
1. From the home screen of the app choose “Device
Management”
2. Tap the Settings gear next to your camera
3. Next choose “Internet Wi-Fi Setting”
4. Flip the switch to the “on” position.
5. Tap the “i” with a circle around it in the SSID field.
6. Select your network from the list of available networks.
7. Enter your WiFi password in the password field and press
“Save” at the top right
8. A dialog will pop up that says “operation succeeded”
9. The device will reboot. You will know the device has
connected to your WiFi successfully when the camera shows
Online in device management as “Device on-line”. This may
take up to 5 mins. You may pull down in the list to refresh the
screen.
10. Once the device shows as Online, confirm that it connected to
your WiFi successfully by opening the settings app on your
phone and choosing your WiFi settings. If you connected
successfully, the device will no longer be generating its own
WiFi signal and you should be connected to your own WiFi.
oNOTE: If you still see a network broadcasting that is the
named after the ID on the bottom of your device,
connecting to your WiFi has failed. Please repeat steps
1-6 above and pay careful attention to the network
password you entered.
11. The device is now connected to your WiFi and may be
accessed from anywhere that your phone has an internet
connection.
HOW TO USE FILE OVERWRITE RECORDING (LOOP
RECORDING), SET MOTION RECORDING LENGTH AND MOTION
DETECTION SENSITIVITY
File overwrite recording allows the device to continue to record when
the memory card becomes full. In the event that the memory is full,
the device will delete the oldest file on the memory card and then
create a new file.
1. Open the live video stream of your camera.
2. Once the video is streaming, “Setup” button at the top right
3. Switch the “Overwrite” switch to the on position.
ADJUSTING ADDITIONAL SETTINGS
1. You may set additional settings such as the time/date stamp
and resolution by accessing “Program Setting” from the main
menu.

VIEWING OR DELETING RECORDED VIDEOS USING THE APP
1. From the home screen of the app, tap “Video Files”
2. Under Recording you will see recorded video files. If you don’t
see anything, pull down on the list to refresh the screen.
3. Slide your finger left on a video file to reveal more options.
4. “Backup” copies the file to your phone and allows you to
watch the video.
5. “Delete” removes the file from the MicroSD Card in the
device.
NOTE: If the backup fails, force close the app and restart.
Then try again.
TRANSFER THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1. Take the SD card out of the unit and connect it to your
computer using a memory card reader or card slot on your
computer
2. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder
AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files
Or…
Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk
3. Open the Removable Disk drive
4. Open the folder containing the files
5. Double click the file you want to view
TROUBLESHOOTING
THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
Make sure the power adapter is securely inserted into the
device and into the power source.
CANNOT RECORD TO SDCARD
Confirm you have inserted an SDCard into the unit
HOW TO FACTORY RESET THE DEVICE
A factory reset will restore all settings to their original factory
settings
To factory reset, press the reset button for longer than 10
seconds to begin the reset process. Wait up to 5 mins for the
process to complete. When done, unit will generate its own
WiFi signal again and you can begin setting up the unit.
