1. Differences between the MODBUS serial communication specifications of the
FX3U-485ADP-MBH and FX3U-485ADP-MB
2. Transmission speed (baud rate) settings for MODBUS serial communication
The communication speed (baud rate) is set in the communication format (Ch1: D8400 bit 4 to 7, Ch2: D8420 bit
4 to bit 7). Allocation of bit 4 to bit 7 in D8400 (Ch1) and D8420 (Ch2) is as follows on the next page.

Caution
When you set the baud rate to 38400 bps or more in a FX3G Series PLC, please set D8411 (D8431) to be 3ms or
more. When D8411 (D8431) is set at less than 3ms, it may not be able to communicate normally.
