are “cold”, “stiff” and “pain” may feel hotter than the other parts.
6. This device is not only used to warm the body, it can also be used to

The basic way of holding the device is to hold
the heat generating part in your palm. Do not
hold the handle. Your palm will also get
warm.

holding the handle, use
the other palm to hold
the heat generating
part. You will feel good.
How to hold like a
racquet. Do not
squeeze it, just pinch it
likely.

THREE WAYS OF USING THIS ONNETSUKI DEVICE
How to use the device to warm, loosen and stimulate
Warming your body
1. Start by setting the temperature to a comfortable level
2. Move the heater away as soon as you feel hot to avoid low temperature burns.
Leaning on a sofa. Placing it on the bed and lie on it.
Warm your chest gently. Placing it under your buttocks.
The sole of your feet feels good too!
Relax and
enjoy the
warmth!

Place it under the armpit to
warm the bones. Flip it over to warm the other
side when it gets hot.
Apply pressure on the device
placed on your inner thighs. Hold the device surrounding
your abdomen.
Warming improves blood circulation and relieves fatigue. It also loosens stiff muscles and
eliminates pain. If you apply it with a suitable temperature, you will feel comfortable and
enjoy the goodness of this therapy.

Loosening your body
With the heater in stationary position, move your hands and feet slowly. You can
effectively loosen your body.
Apply the heat below the
clavicle (collarbone)
Pull the arm towards the
back slowly
Place the device between the
scapula and spine
Raise your elbow straight up
and make a small circle
You can do this therapy
when you are not sleeping.
Move your elbow before
and after the therapy, you
will feel the difference!
Relax
Loosen Inside

Lie sideways on the bed. Place the
device on the inner surface of your
elbow, move your wrist back and
forth slowly or twist it.
Loosen Arms
Loosen Legs
Place the heater on the back of
your elbow and rest the other arm
on it. Move your wrist in the same
way.
Sit on a chair and place a folded
towel under your thigh. Place the
onnetsuki device on the towel.
Put the onnetsuki device in and out
slowly
This “relaxing” method helps to remove muscle stiffness and fatigue effectively.
Make the onnetsuki stationary and move the related body parts. You can feel the hardness
of your body movements. Get used to handling the onnetsuki this way and apply this
method to the other body parts as well.

Stimulating your body
The onnetsuki is a detector to find sensitive points and you can use it to stimulate
these points once you found them. You don’t need to stimulate the same parts
repeatedly! Do not use heat stimulation for young children.
Try the following steps:
Body parts which are “cold”, “stiff” and “pain” are more sensitive to heat
stimulation. These areas feel hotter.
Warm up slowly and then stimulate your muscles. We recommend you to find
the points and then stimulate each of them accordingly. These are the “hot
spots”. These hot spots feel hot (or very hot) initially. After continuous
stimulation for some minutes, the sensation of pain will subside.
The heating surface of the Mitsui Onnetsuki has a
pyramid-shaped center. This design is unique and
patented (Utility model registration number
3144979, Proximity registration number 17778)
If you use it to search for problem areas, it will
function like a detector. Find the “cold”, “stiff”, and
“pain” points and stimulate them accordingly.
Use different faces and points
How to make the OUCH reaction
Decide the part on your
palm: try with your
dominant hand
Apply preliminary heat:
flush your palm with
onnetsuki with a speed
that feels warm
Make a small circle with the
onnetsuki slowly and feel the
reaction. This point is
stimulated. The acupoints
nearby are also stimulated.

Using the Device – Let’s master the heater
While standing up…
The warmth of the heater is pleasant and doesn’t feel hot right away.
Set it to a suitable temperature before using it.
Support the heater with both hands and press on it lightly, move your
body slowly back and forth, from left to right
While lying down & doing chest work …
Support the heater with both hands and press on it lightly, move your
body slowly back and forth, from left to right
If you bend one leg at a time, it’s
easier to loosen on the same side of
the body
Roll a towel on your back, it will be
easier to loosen up

If you use towels or pillows well…
Support the heater with both hands and press on it lightly, move your
body slowly back and forth, from left to right
Apply the heater between
your pillow and your body
Apply light pressure with the
other hand
Neck is feeling comfortable if you
gently hold with the opposite
hand. (Do be careful because your
neck will get hot very soon)
To remove stiff shoulders, apply heat to the
points in these areas –back spinal area, armpits
and arms etc
Loosen the related arms especially the elbow
regions
Stiff shoulders may also be caused by stiff pelvis.
So it is important to apply heat to a bigger area
and not just the shoulder areas!

Apart from applying heat up and
down, you can also apply heat
sideways
1. Divide the body into three sections for onnetsu therapy as follows:
1. Basic body parts –back, abdomen, chest
2. Related body parts –arms & legs
3. Problem body parts –parts with symptoms
You don’t have to work on all the three sections everyday
although it’ll be good if you can do it!
2. There are three ways of using the onnetsuki on your body:
1. Warming
2. Loosening
3. Stimulating
3. When “warming”, use your body pressure to warm your bones
4. When “loosening”, do not move the heater, hold it in your hands
and move your body instead
5. When “stimulating”, hotter does not necessarily means more
effective. It may cause low-temperature burns if a body part is over
stimulated! Body parts which are “cold”, “stiff” and “pain” will feel
warmer than other body parts. Do take note of the locations of
these body parts.
