BEFORE USE
Before use, please read this manual carefully.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical
appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
avoid res, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read
these operating and safety instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS (1/2)
1. Read and save all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock,do not immerse base,motor,
cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
4. This appliance should not be used bychildren.
5. Unplug cord from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking
off parts, and before cleaning.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or

12. Keep hands and utensils away from moving blade and disc while

or damage to the food processor. A rubber scraper may be used but
ONLY when the food processor is not running.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS (2/2)
13. The blade and disc are sharp. Handle carefully. Store out of reach
of children.
14. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade or disc on
base without rst putting bowl properly in place.
15. Be certain lid is securely locked in place before operating
appliance
16. Never feed food into food chute by hand. Always use food pusher.
17. Do not attempt to defeat the lid interlock mechanism.
18. Make sure the blade or disc has come to a full stop before
removing lid.
19. To reduce the risk of injury, be sure to insert or remove blade and
disc using hubs provided for this purpose.Use caution when removing
blade and disc from the bowl, when emptying the bowl, and when
cleaning.
20. Be sure to turn switch to OFF ( O ) position after each use.
Always use the pusher to clear the food chute. When this method is
not possible, turn the motor off and disassemble unit to remove the
remaining food.
21. The appliance is not intended for commercial, professional or
industrial use. It is designed
and built exclusively for household use only.
22. Never use appliance for a longer period or with a larger amount of
ingredients other than that recommended by appliance manufacturer.
23. The maximum rating of this unit is based on using the Chopping/
Mixing Blade. Using the Slicing/Shredding Disc may draw signicantly
less power.
24. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
25. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of
becoming tangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord

rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating
of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so
that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

How to Lock the Bowl
Align base and bowl as illustrated.Turn bowl clockwise until it locks into
place. The bowl will lock onto the base in 3 different positions for user
convenience. NOTE: The food processor will not work unless the bowl
is locked into position.
How to Assemble and Lock the Lid
Align lid as illustrated by placing thumbon lid tab and twisting lid
clockwise. Four visual alignment markers are provided (see illustration),
one on bowl, one onhandle and two on bowl lid. NOTE: The food
processor will not work unless the lid is locked into position.
How to Operate the Controls
The control dial is conveniently located on the front of the base. Rotate
the knob clockwise to select a speed:
1 for Low
2 for High
The processor will run continuously. For instant on and off control, use
the PULSE (P) button by rotating knob counterclockwise.

PROCESSING TIPS AND TECHNIQUES
1. This food processor is excellent to chop, mix, slice, or shred most
foods. However, to maintain peak performance, do not use your food
processor for the following: grinding grain, coffee beans or spices;
slicing frozen meat; or crushing ice.
2. To achieve maximum capacity, use Chopping/Mixing blade of Big
Mouth and add food no higher than the maximum ll line on food
chute. See Food Processing Charts for more information.
3. Operating time will depend on quantity of food being processed.
Most foods can be sliced, chopped, or shredded in seconds. If unit is
operated for 30 seconds continuously, let the processor rest about 3
minutes before continuing.
4. For a more uniform consistency, start with pieces of food that are
similar in size. Carrots, for example,should all be cut in 1-inch (2.5
cm) chunks. Do not process 4-inch (10cm) pieces with 1⁄2- inch (1 cm)
pieces.
PROCESSING USING CHOPPING
/MIXING BLADE
1. The Chopping/Mixing Blade can be used to coarsely chop,nely
mince,mix, or puree food to a smooth consistency.
2. Make sure the Control Switch is turned to OFF (O) and the unit is
unplugged.
3. Lock the bowl onto base.(See “How to Lock the Bowl” on page 3.)
4. Place the Chopping/Mixing Blade onto motor shaft of food
processor in center of bowl.Turn
slowly until blade drops into place.Handle carefully; the blade is sharp.
5. Lock lid onto bowl. Insert food pusher into food chute.
6. Do not puree or mash starchy vegetables like potatoes. They will be
over-processed in a second and turn gummy.
7. Plug in unit and process food .The processing speed

8. When nished processing,select OFF (O) or release from
PULSE position.Wait until blade has stopped rotating before removing

PROCESSING USING SLICER/SHREDDER
1. To slice or shred cheese, select rmcheese like Cheddar,Monterey
Jack,or Swiss.Place cheese in freezer for 30 minutes before processing.
2. The Reversible Slicer/Shredder Disc has a slicing blade on one
side and shredding teeth on the other.The name engraved on the
blade,facing up, is the function selected.Place on motor shaft with
desired cutting edge facing up.
3. Make sure the Control Switch is turned to OFF(O)and the unit is
unplugged.
4. Lock the bowl onto base.(See ”How to Lock the Bowl” on page 3.)
5. Place Removable Drive Sleeve on Motor Shaft.Put Slicer/ Shredder
Disc on Removable Drive Sleeve with the desired side facing up for
either slicing or shredding.Lock lid onto bowl.(See ”How to Assemble
and Lock the Lid” on page 4.)
6. To slice/shred large foods(such as chunk of cabbage, green pepper,
whole tomato) open food chute lid by lifting latch. Depress food holder
to the right.Insert food and lock lid.

7. To julienne vegetables, slice then remove from bowl and restack
the vegetables. Pack into food chute with slices vertical. Slice again to
make match-stick cut vegetables.
8. To slice/shred long,thin foods (such as potato, pepperoni, carrots,
celery). Lock lid. Long foods can be inserted into the chute opening and
processed as long as the food chute lid is closed.
9. Insert food pusher in chute. Always use the food pusher
to feed food into the chute.
NEVER PUSH FOOD THROUGH CHUTE WITH HANDS.
10. Plug in unit.
11. Select speed. While pressing on food pusher, select 1 or 2 for
optimum slicing and shredding performance or PULSE to process food.
Reference the food processing chart for recommended processing times
and speeds. NOTE:The food chute lid is designed to pivot towards the
right when processing food that lls the whole food chute capacity.
12. When food chute is empty, select OFF(O) or release from PULSE
position.Wait until blade has stopped rotating before removing lid.
Unplug the unit.
PROCESSING USING CITRUS JUICER
1. Make sure the Control Switch is turned to OFF(O) and the unit is
unplugged.
2. Lock the bowl onto base.(See ”How to Lock the Bowl” on page 3.)In
case of any juice effusing due to high speed rotation, please choose the
low speed before juicing.
3. Put screening plate on motor shaft.
4. Fit the appropriate cone onto the drive shaft. (The large cone
is suitable for juicing big citrus fruit ,such as grapefruit , oranges etc.
The small cone is suitable for juicing small citrus fruit, such as lemons,
limes etc.)

5. Cut a citrus fruit in half and press the cut end of one fruit half onto
the cone. Turn on the machine and choose the speed. The cone scrapes
the pulp out and squeezes the juice from the fruit.
6. To maximize the quantity of juice extracted from a fruit, press a fruit
onto the cone several times.
PROCESSING USING MIXING CUP
1. First check the position switch in stop state.
2. Put sealing ring into cutter seat slot, screw and fasten mixing
cup into cutter seat(clockwise for fastening, and counterclockwise
for loosening), put the mixing cup cover and the feed cover on.
3. Clockwise screw the cutter seat into the main machine with your
hand (counterclockwise for loosening), no holding the cup with your
hand for disassembling, otherwise, the cup will leave the cutter seat
make food in the cup leak out.
Egg mixing
Put egg without eggshell into the mixing cup, pour appropriate cool
boiled water, add some our. Put and fasten the cover, press the button
of weak grading for 1 min.

Vegetable or fruit mixing
For vegetable or fruit to be mixed, after peeling or shelling, and pitting,
cut it into blocks or sections,every time put 600g, pour appropriate cool
boiled water, perform assembly according to assembling specication
for use turn on for mixing for 1min by 5 grading.
Soy milk making
1. For making soy milk, immerse soy in water for 4 hours. Assemble
soy milk maker;put lter net vertically in and make it clutch with the
mixing cup according to the legend, put the cover on, take off the
feed cover, put some immersed soy into the lter net, pour appropriate
water, total quantity of water and soy shall not be over maximum level
(MAX), fasten the top cover, turn on the machine for mixing for 1 min.
Repeating twice can get better effect. (It is recommended that soy
quantity is 150 g, and water quantity 1L.)
2. If soy milk is too dense, pour it out, add some water for diluting.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Unit does not operate on any speed or Pulse
1. Is the unit plugged in? Does the outlet work?
2. Are the bowl, bowl lid, and food chute lid all locked in place? See
pp. 4-“How to Assemble.”
Food is not chopped, sliced or shredded uniformly
1. Packing too much food in the food chute, or pushing too hard on the
food pusher may cause the processed food to be irregulary sliced or
shredded. Refer to the food processing charts for recommended sizes
and quantities.
Unit stops and will not come back on
1. Are the bowl, bowl lid, and food chute lid all locked in place?
They may have moved slighty during processing. See pp. 4 “How to
Assemble.”
2. Is the outlet still working? Check it by plugging in a working lamp or
other appliance. You may have overloaded the circuit and blown a fuse
or tripped the circuit breaker.
3. Turn unit OFF, allow to stand for 3 to 4 minutes, then turn back ON.
If none of these suggestions correct the problem,DO NOT attempt to
repair the unit. Call the Customer Service number to get the name of
your nearest Authorized Service Center.

Unit has a burning smell
1.There may be a residue left on the motor from the manufacturing
process, causing a slight odor during initial use. This will go away.
If a strong odor or any visible smoke appears, unplug the unit
IMMEDIATELY and call the Customer Service number.
Motor seems weak
1. Are you using the recommended speed for the item you are
processing?
2. Are you using the recommended food size and quantity to be
processed? Refer to the food processing charts for recommended food
sizes and speeds.
CLEANING, STORAGE AND
MAINTENANCE
1. Wash bowl, lids, blade, discs,removable drive sleeve and food
pusher in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. See page 4 for
information on how to remove food chute lid for cleaning. To clean
food thoroughly from the bowl and bowl lid/food chute,immerse in
hot,soapy water. NOTE: Do not store unit with lid in locked position;
this may put strain on interlock tab.
2.Wipe base, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. To
remove stubborn soil, use a mild non-abrasive cleanser.
3.To store, place bowl on base. Then place Chopping/Mixing Blade on
motor shaft and Slicer/Shredder Disc on Chopping/Mixing Blade. The
Removable Drive Sleeve may be stored in the bowl. Place lid on bowl
but do not lock.
4.Monthly place a drop of vegetable oil on each screw in the food
chute.

AFTER USE
The suction cup feet on the bottom of your Food Processor are designed
to keep the unit stationary during use. To maximize the life of your Food
Processor please review the following directions:

11. Laat het snoer niet over de rand van de tafel of het aanrecht
hangen en raak geen hete oppervlakken aan.
12. Houd handen en keukengerei uit de buurt van bewegende
messen en schijven tijdens het verwerken van voedsel om het risico
op ernstig persoonlijk letsel en / of schade aan de keukenmachine
te verminderen. Een rubberen schraper mag worden gebruikt, maar
ALLEEN wanneer de keukenmachine niet draait.
13. Het mes en de schijf zijn scherp. Voorzichtig behandelen. Buiten
bereik van kinderen bewaren.
14. Om het risico op letsel te verminderen, plaatst u nooit het mes of de
schijf op de basis zonder eerst de kom op de juiste manier te plaatsen.
15. Zorg ervoor dat het deksel goed op zijn plaats is vergrendeld
voordat u het apparaat bedient
16. Voer het voedsel nooit met de hand in de voedselgoot. Gebruik
altijd voedselduwers.
17. Probeer het dekselvergrendelingsmechanisme niet te verslaan.
18. Zorg ervoor dat het mes of de schijf volledig tot stilstand is
gekomen voordat u het deksel verwijdert.
19. Om het risico op letsel te verminderen, moet u het mes en de schijf
plaatsen of verwijderen met behulp van de daarvoor bestemde naven.
Wees voorzichtig bij het verwijderen van mes en schijf uit de kom, bij
het legen van de kom en bij het reinigen.
20. Zorg ervoor dat u de schakelaar na elk gebruik op OFF (O) zet.
Gebruik altijd de stamper om de voedselgoot schoon te maken. Als
deze methode niet mogelijk is, zet u de motor uit en demonteert u de
eenheid om het resterende voedsel te verwijderen.
21. Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor commercieel, professioneel of
industrieel gebruik. Het is ontworpen
en uitsluitend gebouwd voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
22. Gebruik het apparaat nooit voor een langere periode of met
een grotere hoeveelheid ingrediënten dan door de fabrikant van het
apparaat wordt aanbevolen.

Shredding kan aanzienlijk minder stroom verbruiken.

INFORMATIE CONSUMENTENVEILIGHEID
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING! Gevaar voor schokken: dit apparaat heeft een
gepolariseerde stekker (het ene deel is breder dan het andere). Om het
risico op elektrische schokken te verminderen, is deze stekker slechts op
één manier in een gepolariseerd stopcontact te passen. Als de stekker
niet volledig in het stopcontact past, draait u de stekker om. Neem
contact op met een gekwaliceerde elektricien als deze nog steeds
niet past. Probeer de stekker op geen enkele manier te wijzigen. Om
een overbelasting van het elektrische circuit te voorkomen, gebruikt
u geen ander apparaat met een hoog vermogen op hetzelfde circuit
als uw keukenmachine. De lengte van het snoer dat op dit apparaat
wordt gebruikt, werd gekozen om het risico te verkleinen dat u verstrikt
raakt of over een langer snoer struikelt. Als een langer snoer nodig is,
kan een goedgekeurd verlengsnoer worden gebruikt. Het elektrisch
vermogen van het verlengsnoer moet gelijk zijn aan of groter zijn dan
het vermogen van het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat het verlengsnoer zo
wordt geplaatst dat het niet over het aanrecht of tafelblad valt waar het
door kinderen aan kan worden getrokken of er per ongeluk over kan
struikelen.

Hoe de kom te vergrendelen
Lijn de basis en de kom uit zoals afgebeeld. Draai de kom met de klok
mee totdat deze vastklikt. De kom wordt op de basis in 3 verschillende
posities vergrendeld voor gebruiksgemak. OPMERKING: De
keukenmachine werkt alleen als de kom op zijn plaats is vergrendeld.
Hoe het deksel in elkaar te zetten en te vergrendelen
Lijn het deksel uit zoals afgebeeld door het deksel van het thumbon-
deksel te plaatsen en het deksel met de klok mee te draaien. Er
zijn vier visuele uitlijningsmarkeringen voorzien (zie afbeelding),
één op kom, één handgreep en twee op komdeksel. OPMERKING:
De keukenmachine werkt alleen als het deksel op zijn plaats is
vergrendeld.
Hoe de bedieningselementen te bedienen
De bedieningsknop bevindt zich handig aan de voorkant van het
basisstation. Draai de knop met de klok mee om een snelheid te
selecteren:
1 voor lage snelheid
2 voor hoge snelheid
De processor werkt continu. Gebruik de PULSE (P) -knop door de knop
linksom te draaien voor directe in- en uitschakeling.

VERWERKINGSTIPS EN -TECHNIEKEN
1. Deze food processor is uitstekend om de meeste voedingsmiddelen
te hakken, te mengen, in plakjes te snijden of te versnipperen. Voor
optimale prestaties gebruikt u uw keukenmachine echter niet voor het
volgende: graan malen, kofebonen of kruiden; bevroren vlees snijden;
of crushing ijs.
2. Gebruik voor het bereiken van de maximale capaciteit het
hak- / mengmes van de grote mond en voeg voedsel toe dat
niet hoger is dan de maximale vullijn op de voedselgoot. Zie
Voedingsverwerkingsdiagrammen voor meer informatie.
3. De bedrijfstijd is afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid voedsel die wordt
verwerkt. De meeste voedingsmiddelen kunnen in seconden worden
gesneden, gehakt of versnipperd. Als het apparaat 30 seconden
continu wordt gebruikt, laat u de processor ongeveer 3 minuten rusten
voordat u doorgaat.
VERWERKING MET BEHULP VAN
HAKKEN / MENGBLAD
Begin voor een meer uniforme consistentie met stukjes voedsel van
vergelijkbare grootte. Wortelen moeten bijvoorbeeld allemaal in stukjes van
1 inch (2,5 cm) worden gesneden. Verwerk geen stukken van 4 inch (10 cm)
met stukken van 1⁄2 inch (1 cm).
Het hak- / mengblad kan worden gebruikt om voedsel grof te hakken, jn te
hakken, te mengen of te pureren tot een gladde consistentie.
1. Zorg ervoor dat de bedieningsschakelaar op OFF (O) staat en dat de
stekker uit het stopcontact is getrokken.
2. Vergrendel de kom op de basis. (Zie “De kom vergrendelen”.)
3. Plaats het hak- / mengblad op de motoras van de food processor in het
midden van de kom. Draai langzaam totdat het mes op zijn plaats valt. Ga
voorzichtig te werk; het mes is scherp.
4. Vergrendel het deksel op de kom. Plaats de voederschuiver in de
voedselgoot.
5. Pureer of pureer geen zetmeelrijke groenten zoals aardappelen. Ze worden
in een seconde overwerkt en worden gomachtig.
6. Sluit de eenheid aan en verwerk voedsel. De verwerkingssnelheid Hakken
/ voedsel. Met de Pulse-knop kunt u oververwerking voorkomen. Het mengen
van het mes en de tijd bepaalt de uiteindelijke consistentie van de referentie in
de voedselverwerkingskaart voor aanbevolen verwerkingstijden en snelheden.

8. Selecteer wanneer u klaar bent met verwerken OFF (O) of laat de
Puls functie los. Wacht tot het mes niet meer draait voordat u het deksel
verwijdert. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
VERWERKING MET OMKEERBARE RASP
1. Als u kaas wilt snijden of versnipperen, selecteer je rmcheese
zoals Cheddar, Monterey Jack of Swiss. Leg de kaas 30 minuten in de
vriezer voordat u deze verwerkt.
2. De Omkeerbare rasp heeft een snijmes aan de ene kant en
hakseltanden aan de andere. De naam staat gegraveerd op het
mes, en naar boven gericht, is de geselecteerde functie. Plaats op de
motoras met de gewenste snijkant naar boven gericht.
3. Zorg ervoor dat de bedieningsschakelaar op OFF (O) staat en dat
de stekker uit het stopcontact is getrokken.
4. Vergrendel de kom op de basis (zie “De kom vergrendelen”)
5. Plaats de verwijderbare aandrijfhuls op de motoras. Plaats de
snijmachine / shredderschijf op de verwijderbare aandrijfhuls met de
gewenste kant naar boven voor snijden of versnipperen. Sluit het deksel
op de kom. (Zie “Het deksel monteren en vergrendelen”)
6. Om groot voedsel te snijden / versnipperen (zoals een stuk kool,
groene peper, hele tomaat), opent u het deksel van de voedselgoot
door de vergrendeling op te tillen. Druk de voedselhouder rechts naar
binnen. Plaats het voedsel en sluit het deksel.
