1. Product introduction
Internal Remotely Electric Tilt (hereinafter referred to as iRET)
is designed based on AISG2.0 standard. It can adjust the signal
coverage of the antenna effectively and improve the quality of
communication services by controlling the antenna electric tilt
remotely. iRET module is designed as pluggable independent unit,
and easy to install and replace.
Components are shown as follow:
①Screw: Tighten the iRET module
②Male connector: The daisy chain in
③Hand shank: Plug the iRET module
④LED indicator light: Indicate the working state
(Green light indicates it is working normally, red light indicates it is
working abnormally.)
⑤Female connector: The daisy chain out
2. Installation Steps
Step 1: insert the iRET module into the antenna along the rail.

Step 2: tighten the screws and fasten the iRET module.
Step 3: When connecting the control cable, match the guide slot of
the cable connector with the feather key of the male connector,
then tighten manually.

3. Engineering applications
A flow diagram is shown below:
4. Portable electric antenna control unit (PCU) operation
instruction
4.1 Set up the test environment of PCU
As shown below, connect Portable electric antenna control
unit(hereinafter referred to as PCU)with AISG control cable.
Turn on ALD
Turn on the switch
to energize the iRET,

4.2 PCU operation instruction
PCU AISG port Switch Power port AISG cable male connector
Connect the male connector of AISG cable with AISG port of PCU.

language, press "OK" to scan iRET
Select operating UID
After scan, Press "CLR",return to
select interface, press Add/decline

Calibrate

After entering the operation
interface, press"2"to enter angle
setting form, press or to
select angle
: The rise of 0.1 degree per pressing,
hold on the button for continuous rise.
Up to 20 degree, and then back to the
0 degree
: The decline of 1.0 degree per
pressing, hold on the button for
continuous decline. Down to 0 degree,
and then back to 20 degree
Get tilt
After entering the operation
interface, press "1" to get current
tilt
Add & decline key:select device or set tilt
Working light:when PCU energized,Light W
will twinkle, when issue order, Light R、T、W
will twinkle alternately
Digit key: select language and order
Return key(CLR):back to previous level
Return to original form key(FUN):
return to language selection interface
Confirm key(OK):confirm the order
After entering the operation
interface, press "3" to enter the
calibration form. The max angle, min
angle and sector number is default,
so press "OK" until the calibration
executes

5. Fault product replacement
The iRET module has completed the antenna-related
information configuration before leaving the factory (such as angle
range etc). Before replacing, please check whether the label
information of the new iRET module matches the antenna
information of the module to be replaced.
The steps of replacement are shown below:
Step 1: rotate the screw anti-clockwise to remove the screw. As
shown below:
Step 2: insert the new iRET module along the guide rails into the
antenna, tighten the screws clockwise, and re-connect the AISG
control cable. As shown below:
Note: If the UID of the new iRET module and the UID of the faulted
iRET module are not consistent, you can contact with customer
service (Tel: +86-0755-86186110) and provide the UID array
number (red dotted line as below) on the back of the original
antenna. Our company will arrange technical staff to change the
UID array number though the remote assistance or you can change
the UID array numbers by the tools that we provide. Antenna array

Notes
1. When the connector of the control cable has been tightened,
pinch the holding nut by hand and rotate clockwise. Do not use
tools, and avoid the control cable needle broken, etc.
2. When the connector of the control cable has been tightened, it is
strictly prohibited to rotate the part of the non-holding nut. It can
avoid the male needle faulty and so on.
3. After assembling the iRET module, the control cable connector
should be wrapped with a waterproof tape and an anti-aging
tape.
4. When the iRET assembly is completed, on-site testing is needed
to ensure the iRET module work properly.
5. The AISG cable should be fixed with tie tape every two meters.
And the control cable should be protected and not to be
damaged.
6. If adjust the antenna through the PCU, when adjustment is
completed, the control cable between the controller and the
iRET module should be dismounted and placed well.

6. Troubleshooting
