CAUTION!
Each programming and changing of the motor rotation direction is confirmed by the half
turns of its drive. This is why, the control cannot be programmed when a shutter is in its limit
position – upper or lower. Then, it can be damaged ( e.g. drawn into the housing ).
PROGRAMMING MODE
1. Connect the power supply.
2. Switch OFF and ON the power supply to the tubular
motor.
3. Switch off and on the power supply to the tubular
motor again. Two half turns of the drive confirm the
programming mode of the motor.
ON OFF

CAUTION!
If no programming action is taken within 20 seconds,
the drive will do two half turns, and the motor will
automatically change to the operating mode – it won’t
be programmed.
> 20 sek.
LOADING THE REMOTE CONTROL INTO THE TUBULAR MOTOR MEMORY
1. Remove the control from its frame as some programming buttons are located on the
back side of the control.
2. Select the right channel ( unless it is a 1-channel control COSMO | L1 ).
3. Press the STOP and UP buttons (on the back side of the remote control) and hold them
until the drive does two half turns.

CAUTION!
If it is the first remote control loaded into the receiver, this is the MASTER remote control and
the motor will change to the operating mode. Using the MASTER remote control, it is now
possible to operate the motor or program other remote controls. No channel will be loaded by
the motor if the remote control sends signals for several channels simultaneously.
PROGRAMMING THE SECOND REMOTE CONTROL AND EACH SUBSEQUENT ONE
1. Press the STOP and UP buttons on the
MASTER remote control simultaneously and
hold them for 5 seconds, until the drive does
two half turns confirming the programming
mode of the tubular motor.
MASTER
2. Press simultaneously the STOP and UP
buttons on the second remote control or
on the channel to be programmed (in the
case of the multi-channel remote control)
and hold them until the drive does two
half turns PILOT X
Another remote control (channel) has been loaded into the motor memory.
The next remote control can be loaded as well. However, if no programming action
is taken within 20 seconds – the motor will automatically change to the operating
mode. This can be also done manually, by means of the MASTER remote control. To set
the operating mode manually, press the STOP and UP buttons on the MASTER remote
control simultaneously and hold them for more than 5 seconds. In both cases, the
operating mode will be indicated by two half turns of the drive.
CHANGE OF THE MOTOR OPERATION DIRECTION
After loading the remote control in the motor, check if the STOP and DOWN buttons on
the remote control correspond with rolling the shutter up and down. If not, press the UP
and DOWN buttons on any remote control loaded in the motor simultaneously and hold
them for about 5 seconds.

The drive will do two half turns and the operation direction will be changed.
SELECTING THE CHANNEL
Channels are selected by means of the buttons located
on the front panel of the remote control. After pressing a
button, it is illuminated and the radio channel is enabled.
Channels can be chosen freely.
CAUTION!
1. Standby mode: pressing the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA on the panel will only
cause the wakeup and the display of the previously recorded, active channel or the
combination of channels ( no signal will be transmitted ).
2. Standby mode: pressing any of the selection
buttons will wake up the transmitter and cause
illumination/activation of the channel being
chosen (then, other channels can be enabled ).
UPPER AREA
LOWER AREA
3. If the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA is not pressed before the transmitter changes to
the standby mode, the newly selected combination of channels will not be saved ( after
waking up the device from the standby mode by pressing the UPPER AREA or the LOWER
AREA, the previous combination will be used ).
4. Each pressing of the UPPER AREA or the LOWER AREA in the operating mode will save the
selected channel or the combination of channels in the memory of the device and the “up”
or “down” signal will be sent.

5. After pressing any of the selection buttons in the operating mode, the button is
enabled or disabled (depending on the previous state). Depending on the next action,
point 3 or 4 is applicable.
NOTE!
After putting the remote control into
the frame, there is no access to the
STOP button. To stop the motor, press
the opposite area of the panel.
FOR EXAMPLE:
PAfter pressing the UPPER AREA on the panel, the motor can be stopped at any time by
pressing the LOWER AREA.
The rule applies only to the cooperation between the COSMO L remote controls and
the COSMO receivers. In the case of COSMO W, H and G remote controls, pressing the
opposite button makes the motor work in the opposite direction.
