SAT406 - SOS Mode
Activate SOS only in case of life danger

•Place SAT406 on the ground or leave on the
wrist, facing the open s y
•Open cover - antenna extends automatically
•Press SOS button for 3-5 seconds until orange
light blin s

•SAT406 Transmits short signals, every 50
seconds, for at least 24 hours
•Satellites relay signals to base station
•Base station determines user ID and location and
alerts nearest Rescue Coordination Center (RCC)
•Nearest RCC sends rescue to user location
Deactivation (in case of false alarm)
Press [SOS+TEST] for 5 sec until light turns off

SAT406 - TEST Mode
Activate Test every 2-3 months
Max. 6 GNSS Tests between battery replacements

•Place SAT406 on ground or leave on the wrist
•Open cover - antenna extends automatically
•Basic TEST (GPS off): Press TEST button
momentarily until orange light blin s
•GNSS TEST (GPS on): Press TEST button for 3-5
seconds until orange light blin s
System (after 3 minutes) 3
•Indicates GNSS fix (in GNSS TEST) with ~15 fast
blin s of [orange + green] LEDs
•Transmits single short signal
•Indicates TEST result with single blin of green
(pass) or orange (fail) LED
After TEST ends, close cover guiding the upper
antenna turn to the center of the cover
If TEST consistently fails, ta e device to the lab

LED Indications in SOS and TEST
•Activity: orange LED blin s every 3-4 seconds
•Pre Transmission: orange LED blin s fast for 4
sec; if GNSS position fixed, also green LED
•Post Transmission: green LED blin s once if TEST
OK; orange LED blin s once if TEST failed.
