hours before using it for the first time.
1Plug one end of the adapter into the charging base and the
other end into a wall outlet.
2Place your wine opener on the charging base. Make sure that
it is firmly in position and makes full contact with the base

charged.
USING YOUR WINE OPENER
Removing the foil
1Place the foil cutter around the neck of the wine bottle.
2Keep one hand on the lower part of the bottle, then turn the
foil cutter in a twisting motion to cut the foil.
3Remove the foil to expose the cork surface.
Removing the cork
Note: Your wine opener works with traditional and synthetic corks.
Synthetic corks are smaller and do not expand the way that traditional
corks do, so a synthetic cork may get stuck on the corkscrew. To
remove the cork, hold the cork with a pair of pliers and press and hold
the (release) button at the same time. The corkscrew slowly releases
the cork. Do not try to force the corkscrew or the cork because you may
damage the mechanism.
1Make sure that your wine opener is charged.
2Remove the foil around the top of the wine bottle using the
provided foil cutter.
Using the vacuum preserver and wine stoppers

remove air from an open bottle for short-term storage.
Note: Your stopper fits in the opening of a standard 750 ml wine
bottle.
1Put one of the wine stoppers into the neck of the bottle.
Make sure that the stopper is firmly seated and makes a
seal around the entire neck.
2Place the vacuum preserver opening on top of the stopper,
then press the pump handle up and down to vacuum the air
out of the bottle.
3When the pump handle becomes hard to operate, stop and
remove the vacuum preserver from the wine stopper.
4If the bottle is less than half full, repeat steps 2 through 3 to
make sure that all the air has been removed.
Setting the storage date
Twist the top of the stopper with the symbol to select one
of the numbers (1 through 31) to select the day of the month
when you opened the wine.
Removing the stoppers from a sealed bottle

wine stopper out of the bottle with the other hand.

3Place the screw hook end of your wine opener on top of the
wine bottle cork. Try to keep your wine opener vertical. If it
is not vertical, it may not pull out the cork correctly.

the cork. Press and hold the (pull) button on the front of
your opener. The corkscrew gradually removes the cork
from the bottle.
5Lift your wine opener off the bottle.
