1|Proper Use
Important:
1. This unit is only suitable for indoor use and should not be
used outdoors.
2. Before plugging in the power supply, ensure the rated voltage
matches the voltage in your home.
3. DO NOT run the cable under rugs or let anything cover the cord.
Route the cable outside trafc areas to avoid tripping.
4. Avoid direct sunlight.
5. DO NOT place near heat/re sources, corrosive air or moisture.
6. DO NOT use near objects that are ammable, explosive, subject
to heat, deformation, discoloration or deterioration.
7. DO NOT use in places with severe dust.
8. Ensure the ventilation openings are free of dust, lint, hair
and other obstacles that could impair the airow.
9. Keep a 6 inch distance from other obstructions to ensure
efcient air circulation.
10. Place unit on a dry and level surface to operate.
11. To avoid electric shock, DO NOT insert wire or other foreign
matter into any openings located on the unit.
12. To avoid overheating or risk of re, DO NOT cover the heater.
Proper Use
WARNING
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electrical shock
and injury, including the following:

13. If the heater fails, immediately turn off the power and unplug
from power outlet.
14. Ensure airow is directed away from any power outlets. The
power outlet should be located behind the unit when the heater
is in use.
15. DO NOT share the same power outlet with other high-powered
appliances.
16. DO NOT use this unit near water. (i.e. bathtub, shower, swimming
pool, etc). DO NOT get unit wet.
17. This unit must be equipped with a CE-approved xed outlet
consistent with the rated working current. DO NOT plug unit into
a power strip, portable power bank, or a third-party power source.
18. DO NOT operate the fan with a damaged power cord or
connector. If the cord becomes damaged, DO NOT disassemble
or replace — it must be replaced by the manufacturer’s
maintenance department or a similar professional. For repairs
or replacements, please contact hello@modereco.com.
19. Non-professional personnel or unauthorized repair personnel
may not repair or modify the unit.
20. To properly shut down, operate by using the power button
located on the unit prior to unplugging from outlet.
21. Unplug unit when not in use for an extended length of time.
22. DO NOT use power cord to remove from outlet. Remove only by
gripping the plug.
23. Children, elderly people or patients who have lost their ability
to take care of themselves should use this appliance under the
supervision of an adult to prevent accidents.
24. Refer to page 12 for proper cleaning and maintenance instructions.

Button Iconography
Press the Cool Mode button to activate a cooling
air ow. Note: The default start mode is the cooling
mode.
Press the timer button to set an automatic timer that will power-off unit
between 1 and 8 hours. After the timer function is set, other functions
can be used normally. When the device is turned off, the timing setting
is also canceled.
Press the Oscillation button to turn on the oscillation function. This will
activate fan movement from left to right 80º. Press button again to
stop oscillating.
Press the “+” button to increase airow, press the “-” button to decrease
airow. Cool Mode offers 9 airow levels; warm Mode offers 4 airow levels.
Press button to operate unit on or off.
Press the Warm Mode button to activate a
warming temperature. In warm air mode,
“ºF” will be displayed in upper right corner.
Note: Low Breeze Mode will not be available
during Warm Mode.
Press the UV Sterilization Mode to activate the built-in UV-C light
designed to kill bacteria and germs in the air. Press again to deactivate.
UV sterilization will automatically shut down after 1 hour.
In Warm Mode, press the “ ” or “ ” buttons to set the temperature
between 33.8-86ºF (1-30ºC). Note: This button does not work in Cool
Mode.
Press the High Breeze button to set the fan to it’s
highest speed. The display will show “HH”. Press
again to exit the mode. (You can also exit this mode
by pressing either of the + - Airow speed buttons.)

1. To remove battery cover, push latch to the right and pull battery
compartment downward.
2. Remove old battery and replace with new CR2025 Coin battery.
3. Slide battery compartment back into the remote until latch
clicks into place.
IMPORTANT:
• DO NOT charge the battery
• NOT a toy — keep out of reach of children
• If battery is swallowed, seek medical attention

Airow Tilting Direction
Important: Wait until fan has come to a complete stop prior to
setting air direction tilt. Hold unit body with one hand and set the air
direction 15º tilted upward or downward.
Switch On and Off
Once the power supply has been properly connected, the LED
display will light up, indicating the unit is in standby mode. To start
the fan, tap the power button located on the unit body — the unit
will beep once. To stop the fan, press and hold the power button for
3 seconds until the unit beeps twice.
Set Airow
While the unit is operating: Press either + - button on remote to
adjust the air speeds from 1 to 9. Air speed can also be adjusted by
continuously pressing the power button on unit until a desired air
speed is reached.
Oscillation
While the unit is operating, press and hold the power button for 2
seconds. The unit will beep once and the fan will begin oscillating.
Press and hold the power button again for 2 seconds. The unit will
beep once and oscillation will stop.

Placement & Safety
Location
1. Place the fan in a vertical (up-right) position. If location of unit
has a slight slope, place on a soft surface to prevent the fan from
tipping.
2. DO NOT use in areas with high temperature and/or humidity (i.e.
bathroom or kitchen).

when in use. Keep away
from curtains or loose
fabrics to avoid objects
blocking the air inlet,
which may cause unit
malfunctions.

1ft of the air outlet will
impair the effect of the
airow.

Important Safety Feature
This unit features an automatic fail-safe that will cut
power to the unit if accidentally tipped over or to prevent
overheating. If this sensor is triggered, unplug the unit and
allow the unit to cool. Check and remove any obstructions
before restarting the heater fan and be sure to place unit on
a hard, level surface.

9|Warm Mode Instructions
1. Press the Warm Mode button on remote to activate. The ambient
temperature will be shown on display screen.
2. Press (+ -) temperature buttons on remote to set the desired
temperature output. Temperature digits will be ashing on
display. The temperature can be set anywhere between 33.8-86ºF
(1-30°C). After the temperature is set for 5 seconds, the display will
stop ashing and show the ambient temperature.
3. The set temperature must be higher than the ambient
temperature to activate the heating function.
4. When the ambient temperature reaches the set temperature,
the heating function will stop, and the product will continue to
run for 40 seconds and then stop running.

Please Note:
The default temperature on the unit is 77°F (25°C). In the Warm Mode,
if the ambient temperature is ever below 0°C, “01” will be displayed.
The unit does not display negative temperature values.
The Warm Mode will automatically shut off after 9 hours. To restart
mode, press the power button on the unit or the remote.
Temperature settings can only be controlled from remote.

Filter Removal & Replacement
This unit is equipped with a purifying air lter, which will aid in air
purication. To ensure efcient air ltering, the lter needs to be
properly installed within unit

To remove lter: Lift lter cover
upward to release from magnet,
then remove lter by lifting it
out from unit’s lter cavity in
an upward direction.
To replace lter: Place new
lter into unit’s lter cavity in a
downward direction, then place
cover back onto unit — the smooth
side of cover should be facing up.
Filter Replacement Auto Reminder
For optimal performance, the lter should be replaced every
6 months (average use of 4 hours/day) or 720 total operating
hours. Once the unit reaches 720 hours of use, the display will
cycle through three lter indicators (shown at right), then beep
for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the display will clear and return to
normal functions. This feature serves as a reminder
to change the HEPA 13 Filter.
Note: Filter cover is xed to machine by a magnet.

Cleaning & Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Unplug the power supply
before performing any maintenance.
AVOID contact with large amounts of water.
This may cause longterm damage to the unit.
DO NOT use banana oil, benzine, alcohol, bleach, harsh
chemicals or metallic materials to wipe the surface of the
unit. This may lead to surface discoloration.
Surface Cleaning
Wipe the surface of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
For a deeper clean, dilute a mild detergent and
wipe surface with a soft cloth. Finish by wiping
with a dry soft cloth.
Air Inlet/Outlet
Use a soft brush or a vacuum to remove any
dust that may collect at the air inlet or outlet.
Regularly removing minimal amounts of dust will
prolong life of unit and ensure fan is operating at
maximum efciency.
Remote Control
Gently wipe the surface of the remote with a soft, dry cloth. If not
in use for any prolonged length of time, remove battery from the
remote to avoid battery consumption.
Storage
When unit is not in use for an extended length of time, clean and cover
unit. Avoid: storing in any locations where unnecessary vibrations may
occur, near electrical appliances with cooling and/or heating functions,
exposure to direct sunlight or high temperature and humidity.

Activating WiFi Pairing Mode
1. Connect your phone to the desired WiFi.
2. Download either app: “Smart Life” or “TuyaSmart”. OR scan either
QR code below for direct link.

4. Press and hold the power button
located on unit for 5 seconds (unit will
beep 3 times).
5. When ready to pair, “F” will rapidly blink
on display screen.
6. Follow on-screen steps within app to
select this device type (fan/heater) from
list of devices.
3. For rst time users: create an account after app has been
installed and launched. For current users: log into account.
7. Select “conrm indicator rapidly blinking”
in app & continue to follow on-screen steps to nish installation.
8. Once device is added within app, you can rename if desired.
Tap “done” to nish and setup is complete.
