quartz watch has been carefully
designed to give you years of reliable
service. Its design incorporates the
latest watchmaking technology. Please
let us know if you have any comments
or suggestions as to how we might

USING THE SCREW CROWN (C)
Your watch is equipped with a screw-
down, locking crown “C”. This screws
into the case, to ensure a reliable
waterproof seal. To set your watch,
you must first unscrew the crown by
turning it counter-clockwise 3-4 turns,
then pull out gently from the case for
setting. After setting or resetting the
watch always ensure that you screw the
crown back into the case by pressing
it firmly into the case; then, applying
a gentle pressure against the case,
turn the crown clockwise 3-4 turns
until snug. Always ensure that it turns
smoothly and is not cross-threaded.
Do not over tighten! (Finger-tight will
ensure a good water-proof seal.) If
damage occurs due to a failure to screw
in the crown correctly, this cannot be
covered under warranty.)
SETTING THE TIME & DATE
To set the watch, first unscrew the
crown to the neutral position (1). Now,
pull the crown out all the way to the
TIME Setting position (3). Turn the
hands forward until the date in the
date window changes - this is midnight.
Continue to turn the hands forward
until the correct time is displayed.
(NOTE: If setting the watch in the
afternoon, you must turn the hands
forward at least 12 hours, otherwise,
the date will change at noon, not
midnight.)
To set the date, push the crown in
one stop to position 2. Turn counter-
clockwise until today’s date shows in
the date window. It is recommended
not to set the date after 9PM or before
5AM, as this could result in the date
not changing correctly. Finally, always
remember to press in the crown and
screw it firmly into the case after
setting.
USING THE ROTATING BEZEL (B)
Your watch is equipped with a rotating
bezel. This is the ring around the
outside of the watch face, which gives
you a simple and legible way to track
bottom-time on a dive, or any elapsed
time. Simply turn the bezel so that the
arrow marker is opposite the minute
hand. The minute hand will move
forward. You can then read the time
elapsed since you set the bezel, by
looking where the minute hand points
on the bezel. While the intended use of
this is for diving, it can also be useful
reminder for everyday timing. (e.g.
remembering elapsed time on a parking
meter!) Also note that, for safety
reasons, the bezel rotates counter-
clockwise only! If you set the bezel for a
dive, then knock it accidentally, this will
only show a greater than actual bottom
time, so you will never underestimate
your bottom time.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT BAND:
A selection of alternate bands are
available to fit your watch: these may
include natural rubber, polyurethane,
various styles of high quality leather
bands, or a matching metal bracelet.

CRYSTAL
Most of our watches are fitted with
a heat-tempered mineral crystal.
Please note that while this glass is
heat-hardened, an impact with a
hard or sharp object can scratch the
crystal, or crack or shatter it. If this
happens, return the watch to one of
our Service Centers, where the crystal
can be replaced for a moderate charge.
(Scratches and impact damage are not
covered under warranty.) A virtually
scratch proof sapphire crystal is
standard on all S-Series models and is
available at extra cost for many other
models. Please check with our Service
Department.
TEMPERATURE CARE
Avoid temperature extremes. Exposing
your watch to high temperatures, such as
placing it on the dashboard of a vehicle or
use in a jacuzzi or hot tub may cause the
watch to malfunction, shorten battery
life, or cause deformations of certain
components leading to mechanical
failures. Leaving the watch in extreme
cold temperatures may cause irregular
time keeping until the watch returns
to normal operating temperatures. For
these reasons, you should remove your
watch prior to exposure.
TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Great care has been taken to ensure
that your watch will give you many years
of reliable service. It is guaranteed for
two years against any defect caused
by a fault in its manufacture*. Please
retain your purchase receipt as proof of
warranty. The best possible materials and
components have gone into your watch.
To keep it in top condition, please treat
it with care and have it professionally
serviced at regular intervals.
* Loss or damage caused by accident,
negligence, or opening, repair by
unauthorized persons is excluded
from this warranty, as is cosmetic
deterioration of the case or bracelet
caused by wear & tear or abuse and
damage caused by cracked or broken
crystals. Battery life is not covered
under warranty. Moisture damage
caused by failure to screw in the crown
correctly is also not covered under
warranty.
2/4/6 YEAR EXTENDED
WARRANTY
Please retain your purchase receipt for
proof of warranty. After the initial 2-year
warranty expires, we recommend that
you extend your warranty by sending
your watch to a St. Moritz / Momentum®
Service Centre for a Full Service*. This
is a chargeable service which includes:
battery replacement, cleaning,
lubrication, and accuracy tuning of
the movement as required, lubrication
or replacement of all seals, pressure
testing to original specification, return
shipping and insurance, and a 2 year
warranty extension. After 4 years, send
it in for another Full Service and extend
the warranty for a final two years (for a
total of 6 years from original purchase
date). Nobody knows your watch like
we do! Expert technicians, original
parts and the latest equipment will
ensure that your watch is serviced
right. To check current Full Service

* Full Service Packages include a extension
of the original warranty, for as long as
parts are available. Please note however
that a Full Service for older, discontinued
models may not include an extension of
the warranty, if original parts are in limited

qualify for the extended warranty.

GARANTIE DE 2 ANS
Votre montre a été construite pour vous
assurer plusieurs années de service
fiable. Elle est garantie contre tout
défaut de fabrication* pour une période
initiale de 2 ans. On vous suggère de la
renvoyer tous les 2 ans pour un service
après-vente à l’usine. Cela assurera à
long-terme l’étanchéité et la fiabilité
de votre montre.
* Perte ou dommages dus à un accident,
ou causés par l’ouverture de la boîte
par des personnes non autorisées
sont exclus de cette garantie, tout
comme la détérioration cosmétique de
la boîte ou du bracelet causée par la
portée ou l’abus. La durée de vie de la
pile n’est pas couvert sous la garantie.
Les dommages causées par l’entrée
de l’humidité n’est pas compris, si la
couronne n’était pas bien visée contre
la boîte.
GARANTIE PROLONGÉE 2/4/6 ANS.
Deux ans après l’achat de votre montre,
on vous suggère de la renvoyer au
Centre de Service Momentum®le plus
proche, pour une «Révision Complète».
Cette révision comprend: le nettoyage,
la lubrification et le contrôle de
la précision comme nécessaire; la
lubrification ou le remplacement
de tous les joints caoutchouc;
la refermeture et le contrôle de
l’étanchéité de la boîte ; les frais de
renvoi et l’assurance; et la prolongation
de 2 ans de la garantie originale. A la
fin de 4 ans, une deuxième révision
complète prolongera la garantie pour 2
ans de plus, jusqu’à 6 ans. Personne ne
connaît votre montre comme nous! Nos
techniciens/horlogiers experts, des
pièces de rechange originales, et une
technologie horlogère de pointe vous
assureront un service après-vente sans
égale.
Pour toute réparation ou tout service,
on vous prie de renvoyer votre montre
(sans écrin) au Centre de Service
dont l’adresse figure sur la carte
ci-jointe ou sur notre site web : www.

GARANTIE
Für die oben genannte Uhr gewähren wir
Voll-Garantie auf –Wasserdichtheit – und
Funktion des Uhrwerks. Schäden, Fehler
oder Veränderungen, welche durch
natürliche Abnutzung, Alterung oder
unsachgemäße Behandlung verursacht
wurden, unterliegen nicht der Garantie.
Armband, Glas und Zubehörteile sind
von jeglicher Garantie ausgeschlossen.
Die Batterielebensdauer ist durch
unvermeidbare Inbetriebnahme
seit Verlassen der Fabrik und der
hernach erfolgten Lagerung auf
dem Vertriebsweg zwangsläufig
verkürzt, weshalb auch hier keinerlei
Gewähr geleistet werden kann.
Ebenso ist Korrosionsbildung durch
ungenügende Reinigung sowie
Rissbildung an Kunststoff- oder
Gummibändern von der Gewährleistung
ausgeschlossen (Alterung).
Entsteht durch Wassereintritt ins
Gehäuse ein Schaden und es kann
nachgewiesen werden, dass die Uhr
mit unverschraubt belassener Krone
im Wasser getragen wurde, weil die Uhr
in unserem Prüfgerät anschließend mit
verschraubter Krone als wasserdicht
gemessen und ausgewertet wurde, so
ist dies ebenfalls kein Garantiefall. Die
Garantie erlischt durch Fremdeingriff.
Als Fremdeingriff ist jegliches Öffnen
der Uhr durch nicht ausdrücklich von
uns autorisierter Stelle zu betrachten.
Wir übernehmen keinerlei Haftung für
Schäden, die durch Verwendung dieser
Uhr entstehen (Tauchunfälle).
GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG FÜR DIE
VERSCHRAUBTE KRONE „C“ (RE-
CHTSGEWINDE)
1. Krone nach links aufschrauben in
Position 1.
2. Weiteres Herausziehen in Position
2 ermöglicht die Einstellung des
Datums (nach links drehen), oder
des Tages (nach rechts drehen).
*Die Einstellung des Tages oder des
Datums ist zwischen 21 Uhr und 5
Uhr nicht empfohlen.
3. Herausziehen in Position 3 zur
Zeiteinstellung. Hierbei wird auch
die Sekunde angehalten.
4. Krone wieder ganz eindrücken und
vorsichtig im Gewinde verschrauben.
Krone schrauben - Krone leicht gegen
dasGehäusedrückenundgleichzeitig
nach rechts (Uhrzeigersinn) bis
auf Anschlag drehen. Keine Gewalt
anwenden. Die Krone muß in das
Gehäuse geschraubt sein, damit die
Uhr wasserdicht bleibt.
LEUCHTZIFFERBLATT (BLACKOUT
SUPERLUMINOUS)
Das Zifferblatt ist mit einer ganz
besonderen Leuchtfarbe impregniert;
dieses wird vom Licht aufgeladen, sodaß
es im Dunkeln bis zu 8 Stundenlang
ablesbar ist. Je stärker das Licht
(z.b. Sonnenlicht), desto heller und
länger wird das Zifferblatt „glühen“.
Wichtig ist, daß diese neuentwickelte
Leuchtfarbe kein radioaktives Material
enthält.
WASSERDICHTHEIT
JedeMomentum®Uhr ist bis mindestens
10ATU/100Mwasserdichtgetestet.Wird
die Zeit oder das Datum neueingestellt,
dann muss die verschraubte Krone
wieder richtig eingeschraubt werden,
um die Wasserdichtheit der Uhr zu
versichern.
DAS RICHTIGE ARMBAND.
Die Momentum®ist eine Sportuhr:
Momentum®Armbänder (Leder, Kevlar,
Technocarbon) halten besser als
herkömmliche Uhrenarmbänder, auch
wenn sie gelegentlich naß werden.
Sollten sie regelmässig mit Ihrer Uhr
ins Wasser gehen, dann empfehlen
wir ein Momentum®Band aus Stahl
oder Gummi. Original Ersatzbaender
sind beim Momentum® Haendler, oder
MERCI d’avoir choisi cette montre.
Votre nouvelle montre a été conçue pour

EMPLOI DE LA COURONNE VISÉE (C)
i). Dévisser la couronne dans le sens
12h ~6h en position 1.
ii).Tirer la couronne en position de
mise à l’heure (jusqu’au premier
cran (2) pour le jour ou la date;
jusqu’au 2e cran (3)pour l’heure)
iii).Repousser la couronne.
Revisser la couronne selon indications
ci-dessous
POUR REVISSER LA COURONNE:
> appuyer légèrement sur la couronne
en la tournant à droite dans le
sens de 6h~12h jusqu’à ce qu’une
résistance soit ressentie. Ne pas
forcer!
> Une espace de 0.05mm doit
subsister entre la couronne et
la boîte. Les joints comprimés
constituent une fermeture étanche.
> N’oubliez pas de toujours revisser la
couronne!
MISE À L’HEURE
RÉGLAGE DE LA DATE
Pour la mise à l’heure, dévisser la
couronne dans la position 1. Tirer la
couronne au fond dans la position 3.
Tourner les aiguilles en avant, jusqu’à ce
que la date change pour signifier minuit.
Continuer de tourner les aiguilles en
avant pour la mettre à l’heure. (N.B.
Si la mise à l’heure s’effectue après
midi, il va falloir avancer les aiguilles
au moins 12 heures avant de mettre
l’heure exacte… sinon, la date changera
a midi!)
POUR CHANGER LA DATE:
(N.B. La mise a l’heure du jour ou de
la date est déconseillée après 9 H du
soir ou avant 5 H du matin.) Repousser
la couronne légèrement en position 2.
Tourner à gauche pour mettre la date
d’aujourd’hui. (S’il s’agit d’un mois de
moins de 31 jours, il va falloir avancer la
date à la fin du mois.) La date changera
à minuit. Tourner à droite pour mettre
le jour. (si disponible)
UTILISATION DE LA LUNETTE TOUR-
NANTE (B)
Au début d’une sortie de plongée ou
de n’importe quel évènement, tourner
la lunette à gauche, jusqu’à ce que la
flèche se trouve en face de l’aiguille
des minutes. Comme le temps passera,
vous allez pouvoir lire le temps écoulé,
indiqué sur la lunette extérieure
par l’aiguille des minutes. (N.B. Pour
raisons de sécurité, la lunette est
unidirectionnelle, pour éviter une
surestimation du temps écoulé.) Pour
les non plongeurs, la lunette peut aussi
être très utile, par exemple pour les
parcomètres!
BRACELETS DISPONIBLES:
Les bracelets originaux sont disponibles
pour remplacer un bracelet usé ou pour
changer complètement l’allure de votre
montre. On vous offre tout un choix
de bracelets de base (polyuréthane),
bracelets en nylon avec du velcro,
bracelets super-confortable en vrai
caoutchouc, bracelets en cuir, Kevlar
ou fibre de carbone. Si vous préférez un
bracelet en métal, on peut vous offrir
un bracelet en acier inoxydable (ou en
titane) pour la plupart des modèles
de notre gamme. Selon le modèle de
montre et le bracelet choisi, il y a une
sélection de couleurs et finitions qui
conviennent. Pour des renseignements
ou des conseils, veuillez contacter
votre détaillant St. Moritz ou notre
département de service après-vente à

LE VERRE:
La plupart de nos modèles comportent
un verre minéral trempé, pour résister
aux rayures. Ceci dit, on vous prie de
noter que le verre n’est pas inrayable.
Une impacte peut rayer ou briser le
verre: si cela arrive, on vous prie de
renvoyer la montre sans délai à notre
département de service après-vente.

Zwei Jahres Garantie
Jede Momentum®Uhr ist gegen
Fabrikationsfehler* garantiert für eine
Grundzeit von zwei Jahren. Sollte ein
solcher Fehler festgestellt werden, wird
die Uhr kostenlos in einer von unseren
Service Centren repariert oder, wenn
keine Reparatur möglich ist, ersetzt.
*Siehe „GARANTIE“ Einzelheiten oben.
VERLÄNGERUNG DER GARANTIE BIS
6 JAHRE
Nachdem die zweijahres-Grundgarantie
abgelaufen ist, können Sie Ihre Uhr
für einen „Full Service“ an uns
zurückschicken. Gegen eine Gebühr
wird die Batterie ersetzt, alle
Gummidichtungen geprüft oder ersetzt,
das Gehäuse richtig versiegelt und die
Uhr an Sie zurückgeschickt. Im Preis
inbegriffen ist eine automatische
Verlängerung der Garantie, um weitere
zwei Jahre. Nach 4 Jahren, können Sie
uns Ihre Uhr für einen zweiten „Full
Service“ schicken, um die Garantie
noch weitere zwei Jahre zu verlängern.
