2. GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WELDING AND CUTTING CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS
The user must therefore be educated against the hazards, summarized below,
deriving from welding operations.
ELECTRIC SHOCK - May be fatal
Install and earth the welding machine according to the regulations.
Do not touch live electrical parts or electrodes with bare skin, gloves or
wet clothing. Make sure your working position is safe. Make sure the circuit
breaker line has been dimensioned according to the power consumption of the
equipment. This switch should intervene in emergency situations. Inspect the
power cord frequently to check its integrity.
FUMES AND GASES - May be hazardous to health
Keep the nose, mouth and eyes away from smoke and noxious fumes.
Work in the presence of adequate ventilation.
RISK OF FIRE AND BURNS
Staples heated can become very hot and burn the skin; you should therefore
make sure there are no ammable materials in the area, and wear appropriate
protective clothing such as gloves and gowns.

Do not operate near pressure vessels or in the presence of dust, gases or fu-
mes

5. SAFETY AND HANDLING
Strict adherence to this user manual is reccommended for your safety
ATTENTION
Once the tip is positioned on the handle and the switch is turned on, the tip tempe-
rature will be between 100 ° and 200 ° C. If touched by mistake, it can cause bur-
ns, blindness or res.
• Wear heat resistant gloves while working
• Before placing the tip, make sure that the ends of the handle are cold
• Do not touch the staple with bare hands when it is placed in position inside the
locking holes
• Do not use the tool near combustible material
• Do not allow unauthorized personnel to use the equipment
• Do not use with wet hands
• When you nish working, turn off the switch and make sure that the end of the
handle is completely cool before storing it in its case.
• The repair of plastic objects occurs by dissolution of the same: be careful of any
molten droplets.
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES TO AVOID INJURY OR DAMAGE
• This product is designed for the repair of plastic parts. Do not use it for purposes
other than those for which it was designed.
• The tool should be used with staples authorized by the manufacturer.
• Do not disassemble
• Do not use in wet places
• Do not put the tool in water
• When switched off, do not pull on the cord

6. HOW TO OPERATE
1. Connect the device to a normal power outlet (220 V).
2. Adjust the temperature control knob on:
- Low for thin plastic (bumpers, etc.)
- Medium for plastic parts with a thickness of 5 mm (projectors, etc.)
- High for thick and hard plastic parts
3. Turn on the main switch.
4. Choose the correct staple for repair and insert it in the tips.
5. Prepare the plastic parts for the repair matching the ends.
6. Heat the staple by holding for 10 seconds the red switch on the handle
7. When the clip is properly inserted in the plastic and wedged into place, turn it
10° -15°.
8. Release the button and hold the clip on the repair until it locks (it does not
move).
9. Slowly remove the tool, leaving the head of the staple into place.
WARNING
BEWARE OF THE FRAGMENTS. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN CUTTING
11. Cut the protruding ends of the staple.
12. Use a sander if you need to remove the remaining ends of the staple.
