Important Safety Instructions
1. Read these instructions.

5. Do not use this apparatus with water.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth. Great care and attention has gone into the
materials chosen to produce the product. A gentle wipe with a dry, clean cloth
is all that is required to remove any dust. Treat it as you would a ne piece of
furniture because that is how they have been designed.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with Monitor
Audio’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat source, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves,
or other apparatus (including ampliers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the purpose of the polarised or grounding type plug. A polarised
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has
two blades and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or the third prong
are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t your outlet,
consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/ accessories specied by Monitor Audio.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied
by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is
used, use caution when moving the cart/ apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms, or when unused for long
periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply
cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen onto
the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally or has been dropped.
15. This apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and that
no object lled with liquids such as vases shall be placed on the apparatus.
16. The appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device
shall remain readily operable.

Background
The RoHS directive restricts the use of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg),

This equipment has been fully tested prior to dispatch from the factory. Both
the craftsmanship and the performance of this product is guaranteed against
manufacturing defects for the period of ve years for speakers and ve years for
the PLW215 from the date of purchase (see conditions below), provided that the
product was supplied by an authorised Monitor Audio retailer under the consumer
sale agreement. (The words ‘consumer sale’ shall be construed in accordance with
section 15 of the supply of goods act 1973). Monitor Audio accepts no responsibility
for defects arising from accident, misuse, abuse, wear and tear, modication or
operation outside of that specied within this instruction manual. Neither will
responsibility be accepted for damage or loss occurring during transit to or from
the parties claiming under this guarantee.
This guarantee covers both labour and parts. The liability of Monitor Audio is
limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the defective parts (at the discretion
of Monitor Audio) and under no circumstances extends to consequential losses or
damage.
Claims under this Guarantee
The equipment should be returned in its original packaging to the original supplier
where possible, or to any other authorised Monitor Audio dealer. If it is not possible
to return the equipment by hand, then it should be sent carriage prepaid via a
reputable carrier. If the original packing is not available replacement packaging
can be purchased from Monitor Audio.

de chion sec et propre sut pour enlever la poussière. Traitez ces produits
comme vous traiteriez un beau meuble, car c’est dans cet esprit qu’ils ont
été conçus.
7. Ne pas obstruer les orices de ventilation. Procédez à l’installation en
respectant les instructions de Monitor Audio.
8. Ne pas installer à proximité de sources de chaleur telles que des radiateurs,
des bouches de chauage, des poêles ou autres appareils (y compris des
amplicateurs) susceptibles de produire de la chaleur.
9. Respectez les consignes d’utilisation des ches polarisées ou des prises
mises à la terre. Une che polarisée dispose de deux broches, l’une plus
grande que l’autre. Une prise mise à la terre dispose de deux broches et d’une
broche de mise à la terre. La broche la plus grande ou la broche de mise à
la terre assurent votre sécurité. Si la prise fournie n’est pas adaptée à votre
prise murale, faites appel à un électricien pour remplacer la prise murale.
10. Protégez le cordon d’alimentation pour éviter qu’il ne soit écrasé ou pincé, en
particulier au niveau de la prise murale, de la prise de courant et à l’endroit
où elle sort de l’appareil.
11. N’utiliser que les accessoires/auxiliaires recommandés par Monitor Audio.
12. Utiliser uniquement avec le chariot, le trépied, le support ou la
table recommandés par Monitor Audio ou vendus avec l’appareil.

Cet équipement a été complètement testé avant la distribution depuis l’usine. Le
savoir-faire et la performance de ce produit sont garantis contre les défauts de
fabrication pour une période de cinq ans pour les enceintes et de cinq ans pour le
PLW215 à partir de la date d’achat (voir conditions ci-dessous), dans la mesure où
le produit a été fourni par un revendeur Monitor Audio agréé selon un accord de

5. Non utilizzare questo dispositivo con acqua.
6. Per la pulizia, servirsi unicamente di un panno asciutto. Una particolare cura
e attenzione sono state dedicate alla scelta dei materiali impiegati nella
produzione del dispositivo. Una passata delicata con un panno asciutto e
pulito è suciente per rimuovere eventuale polvere. Ciascun prodotto va
trattato come se fosse un prezioso elemento dell’arredamento, perché è così
che è stato progettato.
7. Non ostruire le aperture di ventilazione. Installare il prodotto in conformità
con le indicazioni di Monitor Audio.
8. Non installare il prodotto nei pressi di fonti di calore quali radiatori,
termoconvettori, fornelli o altri apparecchi (inclusi gli amplicatori) che
generano calore.
9. Non aggirare lo scopo della spina polarizzata o di terra. Una spina polarizzata
presenta due lame, di cui una più ampia dell’altra. Una spina di terra è dotata
di due lame e di un dente di messa a terra. La lama più ampia o il terzo dente
sono forniti per la sicurezza dell’utente. Se la spina in dotazione non è adatta
alla presa, rivolgersi ad un elettricista per la sostituzione della presa obsoleta.
10. Proteggere il cavo di alimentazione per evitare che venga calpestato o pinzato,
in particolare a livello della spina, del connettore e del punto in cui questo
esce dall’apparecchio.
11. Utilizzare unicamente gli accessori indicati da Monitor Audio.
12. Utilizzare il prodotto unicamente con il carrello, supporto,
treppiede, staa o tavolo specicati da Monitor Audio o venduti
con l’apparecchio. Quando si utilizza un carrello, prestare
attenzione nel muovere l’insieme carrello/apparecchio, per
evitare infortuni dovuti all’eventuale rovesciamento.
13. Scollegare l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica durante i temporali, o quando
resti inutilizzato per lunghi periodi di tempo.
14. Per qualsiasi operazione di assistenza, rivolgersi unicamente a personale
qualicato. Il servizio di assistenza tecnica è richiesto ogniqualvolta
l’apparecchio venga danneggiato in qualsiasi modo, ad esempio se il cavo di
alimentazione o la spina sono danneggiati, se sono stati rovesciati liquidi o
introdotti oggetti nell’apparecchio, se quest’ultimo è stato esposto a pioggia o
umidità, non funziona normalmente oppure è stato fatto cadere.
15. Questo apparecchio non deve essere esposto a gocce o schizzi d’acqua e
nessun recipiente pieno di acqua o altri liquidi, ad esempio un vaso, deve
essere collocato sull’apparecchio stesso.
16. La spina dell’apparecchio serve a scollegare il dispositivo, deve quindi
rimanere facilmente raggiungibile.
17. Il punto esclamativo all’interno di un triangolo equilatero avvisa l’utente
della presenza di importanti istruzioni per l’uso e la manutenzione
(riparazioni) nella documentazione che accompagna il dispositivo.
18. Non posizionare amme libere sull’apparecchio, per esempio candele accese.
19. Monitor Audio sconsiglia l’uso dei suoi prodotti in ambienti con alto tasso di
umidità, caldo o freddo estremo o all’aperto, a meno che sui prodotti stessi sia

RICICLAGGIO
Corretto smaltimento dei riuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (WEEE)
da parte degli utenti in ambito domestico negli stati dell’UE.
Questo simbolo posto su prodotti o accessori indica il divieto
di smaltirli come riuti domestici nell’ambito dell’UE. Per
prevenire potenziali conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e la
salute causate da uno smaltimento incontrollato del prodotto,

prestazioni di questo prodotto sono garantite da difetti di fabbricazione per 5 anni
nel caso degli altoparlanti e 5 anni nel caso del PLW215, a partire dalla data di
acquisto (leggere di seguito le condizioni), a condizione che il prodotto sia stato
fornito da un rivenditore Monitor Audio autorizzato con contratto di vendita.

6. Reinigen Sie es nur mit einem trockenen Tuch. Die Materialien, aus denen das
Produkt gefertigt ist, wurden mit großer Sorgfalt ausgewählt. Um Staub zu
entfernen, wischen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig mit einem trockenen, sauberen
Tuch ab. Behandeln Sie die Lautsprecher wie elegante Möbelstücke, denn in
diesem Gedanken wurden sie auch designt.
7. Blockieren Sie keine Lüftungsönungen. Installieren Sie das Gerät
entsprechend den Anweisungen von Monitor Audio.
8. Platzieren Sie das Gerät nie in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle, z.B. bei
