DMX SETUP
A DMX-512 controller is needed to run synchronized light shows using two or more lighting
effects devices. Each device must be daisy-chained to the next one in line, to a maximum
of 32 devices on a single data link. Connecting more than 32 devices requires the use of a
DMX optically isolated splitter. The maximum total length of DMX data lines should be less
than 1640 feet (500 meters).

5
If you are building your own DMX cables, use data-grade cabling with the following
electrical characteristics:
2-conductor, shielded twisted-pair
Capacitance less than 30 pF/ft. between conductors
Capacitance less than 55 pF/ft. between each conductor and the shield
Resistance less than 20 ohms/1000 ft.
Nominal impedance between 100 ~ 140 ohms
FUSE REPLACEMENT
If the fuse blows it should be replaced only with exactly the same type and rating of fuse.
Before changing the fuse, turn off the device and unplug it from the power source. Use a
small, flat-head screwdriver to pry open the fuse holder. Insert the new fuse, ensuring that
it has a secure connection in the fuse holder.
