Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using this appliance.
WARNING: TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, ALWAYS MAKE
SURE THE PRODUCT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BE-
FORE ASSEMBLING, DISASSEMBLING, RELOCATING OR CLEANING
1. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
Do NOT allow children to play with this appliance.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water
or other liquid.
3. Use the plug to disconnect from electrical outlet, never pull out by the cord.
4. Turn power OFF before removing plug from outlet.
5. Never remove plug with wet hands.
6. Do NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the

13. Do NOT use water bottles with cracks, holes or leaks.
14. When moving Water Dispenser, do NOT angle more than 45°.
15. Never add bleach, detergents or other hazardous chemicals to the water tanks.
16. Never store paint, gasoline, oil or other flammable liquids near Water Dispenser.
17. Do NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
18. Discard appliance following local ordinances.

3-Prong Plug
This appliance has a 3-prong (grounding) plug for use in a 3-prong (grounding) out-
let to minimize the possibility of electric shock. This appliance should only be used
with a 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet. Failure to follow these instructions could result in
fire, electrical shock, serious injury or death.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, contact a qualified electrician to install a
3-prong (grounding) outlet. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. Failure to
follow these instructions could result in fire, electrical shock, serious injury or death.
WARNING: Plastic bags pose a risk of suffocation. Never allow children to play with
plastic bags.
1. After unpacking, dispose of all packing materials in accordance with local ordinances.
2. Place Water Dispenser on a counter strong enough to support the weight of the
appliance when fully loaded with water.
3. Water Dispenser should have a minimum of 2 inches of clearance around the
entire unit to allow for adequate ventilation.
4. Level the appliance using the adjustable leveling feet on the front of the unit.
5. Allow unit to sit upright and undisturbed for 2 hours.
Note: Do NOT plug unit into electrical outlet.

Installation
Before Using for the First Time
1. Check that the drain plug cap, which is located on the back lower right corner, is
firmly in place.
2. Fill water tank to capacity with tap water and let sit for 5 minutes.
3. Place cup under hot water dispenser, slide red tab to the right and press hot
water button just until water flows out of dispenser.
4. Plug Water Dispenser into electrical outlet.
5. Wait 1 hour for hot and cold water to come to temperature.
6. Unplug the Water Dispenser.
7. Place a large container under the hot and cold dispensers and drain unit using
the hot and cold water buttons.
8. Place a container under the drain plug on the back of the unit, remove cap and
allow remaining water to drain.
9. Replace cap on drain plug.
10. Install bottled water in water intake (up to 5-gallon capacity).
11. Place a container under the hot and cold water dispensers.
12. Press both water buttons just until water starts flowing from dispensers.
13. Plug Water Dispenser into electrical outlet.

How to Use
IMPORTANT: Follow the instructions in the section Before Using for the First Time,
on page 5, before using this appliance for the first time or after a long period of
disuse.
1. Turn cooling switch to OFF.
2. Unplug Water Dispenser from the electrical outlet.
3. Remove label, if applicable, from lid of water bottle.
4. Install water bottle into water intake (up to 5-gallon capacity).
5. Place cup under hot water dispenser and press hot water button until water is
dispensed.
6. Plug unit in.
7. Turn cooling and/or heating switch(es) to ON; the LED will display on the control
panel.
General Care & Storage
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. If
problems occur, call our toll-free customer service number for information regarding
replacement or returning the product.
PRECAUTIONS:
• Always unplug machine before cleaning.
TO CLEAN:
• For general cleaning, wipe the front and back of the Water Dispenser
with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT use abrasive cleansers or pads to clean
outside of machine.
If the water flow from the dispensers has slowed down or doesn’t come out in an
even flow, minerals from the water might have built up causing a blockage. In this
case, you will need to clean the inside of the machine using a solution of tap water
and 2% citric acid.
1. Turn the cooling switch to OFF.
2. Unplug the Water Dispenser.
3. Remove water bottle and set aside.
4. Place a large container under the hot and cold dispensers and drain unit using
the hot and cold water buttons.
5. Place a container under the drain plug on the back of the unit, remove cap and
allow remaining water to drain. Replace cap.
6. Fill water intake with citric acid solution and let it sit for 2 hours.
7. Place a large container under the hot and cold dispensers and drain unit using
the hot and cold water buttons.
8. Place a container under the drain plug on the back of the unit, remove cap and
allow remaining water to drain. Replace cap.
9. Replace water bottle in water intake.
10. Place cup under hot water dispenser and press hot water button until water
flows from dispenser.
11. Plug unit back in.
12. Turn the cooling and/or heating switch(es) to ON.
13. Wait 1 hour for water to come up to temperature.
TO STORE:
If the Water Dispenser will not be used for 3 days or more, it’s best to drain water
from the unit to avoid mineral buildup.
1. Turn the cooling switch to OFF.
2. Unplug the Water Dispenser.
3. Remove water bottle and set aside.
4. Place a large container under the hot and cold dispensers and drain unit using
the hot and cold water buttons.
5. Place a container under the drain plug on the back of the unit, remove cap and
allow remaining water to drain. Replace cap.
6. Wipe out any water or moisture remaining in water intake using a soft cloth.
