CD playback function
1Press FUNCTION to select CD playback mode.
2Insert a disc onto the CD tray.
3The display shows the total number and play time of tracks, when in
pause mode the display will flash.
4Press PLAY/PAUSE to begin CD playback; press again to pause playback.
Various play modes of CD playback
Stop button
Press STOP button to stop playing the disc during CD playback.
Skip/search buttons
Press SKIP/SEARCH buttons to advance by one track or jump back to the
previous track during CD playback.
Press and hold these buttons for 2 seconds during CD playback to go fast
forward or backward within the disc.
Repeat button
Press REPEAT to select between repeat one and repeat all modes in CD
stop or play mode; once for repeat one mode, twice for repeat all and
three times to exit.
Random button
Press RANDOM to enter random play mode in CD stop or CD play mode;
press again to exit this mode.
Intro button
Plays the first 10 seconds of each track. Press INTRO to enter intro play
mode in CD stop or CD play mode; press again to exit this mode. In
random playback, press this button to enter random intro mode.
Remain button
Press REMAIN to display the remaining playing time of the disc; press this
button again to cancel.
Program button
To program tracks:
1Press MEMORY in CD stop mode;
2Press SKIP/SERCH or numeric buttons to select location to share the first
track
3Press MEMORY again the display will advance to the next track, repeat
above steps to store.
4After programming is finished, press PLAY/PAUSE to enter program
playback. A total of 32 tracks can be programmed.
Digital tuner with RDS operation
•Press FUNCTION to enter tuner mode.
•Press BAND to select between MW and FM.
•Press TUNING SKIP/SEACH to manually tune the frequency.
•Press and hold TUNING SKIP/UP/DOWN for 2 seconds to automatically tune
the radio frequency. When the tuning goes to one station available,
broadcasting starts immediately.
To store the current radio station frequency:
1Press MEMORY.
2Press MEM UP/DOWN buttons or press the numeric buttons on the remote
control to select a memory position.
3Press MEMORY again to store the frequency.
4To recall the preset station frequency, press the MEM UP/DOWN buttons
or the numeric buttons.
A total of 50 station frequencies can be stored in memory, 30 for FM, 20
for MW. The memory will be erased if the unit is unplugged.
RDS operation of digital tuner
When the radio stops at a radio station which supports RDS, the LCD
shows the radio name, program type and radio text step-by-step.
You can also select the displayed text by pressing the PTY button. The
display toggles as follows: Station name Program type Radio
text Frequency Station name.
If you want to enjoy a particular type of program, press PTY SEL. Press this
button continuously, the LCD shows as follows: News Affairs
