WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD
ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND

1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the unit’s rated specification
before operating.
2. NEVER place Mosquito Sentry in an area where it is accessible to children.
NEVER use Mosquito Sentry in a closed room. The unit is designed for outside
areas, covered patios or open air buildings only. Do not inhale repellent directly
from repellent outlet.
3. DO NOT add material from repellent outlet directly as it will damage the unit.
4. Do not allow children to play with any product packaging, such as plastic bags.
5. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs or near heat registers,
radiators, stoves or heaters.
6. DO NOT place Mosquito Sentry near heat sources such as stoves, radiators and
heaters. The Mosquito Sentry should be at least 8 inches away from the wall for
best results.
7. Do not attempt to refill Mosquito Sentry without first unplugging the unit from
its electrical outlet.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
9. Always place Mosquito Sentry on a firm, flat, level surface.
10. DO NOT allow the repellent outlet to directly face the wall.
11. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on
this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no
user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel
only.
12. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands, electric shock could result.
13. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture polish, paint
thinner or other household solvents to clean any part of the Mosquito Sentry.
14. Do not pour repellent into any openings other than the reservoir.
15. Never place housing under water flow or immerse in liquids.
16. Do not touch the liquid in the base during operation.
17. Keep the Mosquito Sentry off of the floor/ground in case of rain or running
water.

CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING: Use only 100% natural Mosquito Sentry Repellent to fill the unit. Filling
the unit with any other product may result in serious injury or death.

CORD AND PLUG INSTALLATION SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The length of cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of
becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an
approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must
be equal to or greater than the rating of the Mosquito Sentry. Care must be taken to
arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Charge the battery at least 8 hours before use.
2. Plugthepowercordintoaratedelectricaloutlet.
3. PlacetheMosquitoSentryonaatsurface,atleast8inchesawayfromthewall.
4. Filling the reservoir instructions
Remove the reservoir and remove the cap located on the bottom of the reservoir.
5. Add Mosquito Sentry repellent per label instructions and place the reservoir back
into the lantern.

4. Low reservoir/battery warning
The indicator light will illuminate, and alarm will sound when reservoir must be
refilled or the battery must be recharged.
**Resultsmayvarydependingonenvironmentalfactorssuchasrain,wind,humidity,
sunlight and temperature. For best results, turn Mosquito Sentry on at least 30
minutes prior to entering the protected area.
Some mosquitoes or flies may be trapped in the treated area. They will remain
aroundwallsorfurniture.Whentheunitisturnedoff,theywillresumenormal
activity.
In breezy/windy conditions, the Mosquito Sentry should be placed in a manner that
allows the wind to blow the repellent toward you.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
To get the maximum benefit from the Mosquito Sentry and avoid product failure,
follow all maintenance instructions carefully. If the recommended care and
maintenance guidelines are not followed, microorganisms may be able to grow in the
repellent within the Mosquito Sentry.
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, turn the power to OFF and unplug the unit from the electrical
outlet.
2. Remove the reservoir from the main body of the Mosquito Sentry.
3. Carry the reservoir to a sink, then drain and rinse the reservoir thoroughly to
 removeanysedimentanddirt.Wipecleananddrywithaclean,softclothor
paper towel.
4. Refill the tank as instructed in “Filling the reservoir instructions” on page 3.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
1.Repeatsteps1–3above.
2. In order to clean the unit, run a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water through the system
for five minutes.
3. Rinse the reservoir and base with water and clean any residue with a clean, soft
cloth.
PRECAUTIONS DURING MAINTENANCE
• Makesuremainbodyisneversubmergedintowater.
• Donotuseanysolventsoraggressivecleaningagentstocleantheappliance.
• Inordertocleantheunit,runa50/50mixofvinegarandwaterthroughthesystem
once a week.
• Clean and refill the reservoir at least once a week if product is standing for more
than one week.

TIPS FOR PROPER USE OF YOUR MOSQUITO SENTRY
Never use any material other than 100% natural Mosquito Sentry Repellent in the unit.
This system is designed to reduce the repellent into submicron particles and disperse
them over a wide area. Filling the unit with chemicals, pesticides or other products will
damage the unit and may cause serious injury due to inhalation.
The Mosquito Sentry is designed to protect a 300 square foot area. In windy conditions,
it may be necessary to move the unit closer to your sitting area.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your Mosquito Sentry is not working correctly, please check the following causes:

AL USAR APARATOS ELÉCTRICOS, SIEMPRE DEBES SEGUIR PRECAUCIONES
BÁSICAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE INCENDIO, DESCARGA

13. NUNCA uses detergentes, gasolina, limpiador de vidrio, lustrador de muebles,
diluyente para pintura ni otros solventes domésticos para limpiar partes del
Mosquito Sentry.
14. No coloques repelente en ninguna otra abertura que no sea el depósito.
15. Nunca coloques la carcasa bajo una corriente de agua o sumergida en líquidos.
16. No toques el líquido de la base mientras la unidad está en funcionamiento.

INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR
1. Cargar la batería por al menos 8 horas antes de usar.
2. Enchufa el cable de electricidad en un tomacorriente aprobado.
3. Coloca el Mosquito Sentry sobre una superficie plana separado por lo menos
20,32 cm de la pared.
4. Instrucciones para llenar el depósito
Quitar el depósito y retirar la tapa localizada en el fondo del mismo.
5. Agregar repelente Mosquito Sentry según las instrucciones y colocar de nuevo el
depósito en la linterna.
6. Enchufa el cable de electricidad en un tomacorriente aprobado.

4. Advertencia de batería/depósito bajo
 Laluzindicadoraseiluminaylaalarmasuenacuandohayquerellenareldepósitoo
la batería debe recargarse.
**Losresultadospuedenvariarsegúnlosfactoresambientalestalescomolalluvia,
 elviento,lahumedad,luzsolarytemperatura.Paramejoresresultados,enciendeel
Mosquito Sentry al menos 20 minutos antes de entrar al área protegida.
Algunas moscas o mosquitos pueden quedar atrapados en el área tratada. Se
mantendrán en las paredes o los muebles. Cuando la unidad se apague, volverán a la
normalidad.
En condiciones de viento/brisa, el Mosquito Sentry debe colocarse de manera tal que el
viento lleve el repelente hacia donde te encuentras.

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
ParaobtenerelmayorbenecioposibledelMosquitoSentryyevitardesperfectosen
el producto, sigue cuidadosamente las instrucciones de mantenimiento. Si no sigues
las indicaciones de cuidado y mantenimiento recomendadas, el repelente dentro del
Mosquito Sentry puede convertirse en un caldo de cultivo de microorganismos.
MANTENIMIENTO
1.Antesdelimpiar,colocaelinterruptorenapagado(OFF)ydesenchufalaunidaddel
tomacorriente.
2. Retira el depósito del equipo principal del Mosquito Sentry.
3.Llevaeldepósitoaunlavamanos,vacíayenjuágalocompletamenteparaeliminar
 lossedimentosylasuciedad.Limpiaysecaconunpañolimpioysuaveounatoalla
de papel.
4. Vuelve a llenar el tanque como lo indican las “Instrucciones para llenar el depósito”
en la página 11.
MANTENIMIENTO SEMANAL
1. Repite los pasos anteriores del 1 al 3.
2. Paralimpiarlaunidadvierteunamezclade50/50vinagreyaguaydejaquecorra
por el sistema durante cinco minutos.
3. Enjuaga el depósito y la base con agua y limpia cualquier residuo con un paño

CONSEJOS PARA EL USO ADECUADO DE TU MOSQUITO SENTRY
Nunca uses en la unidad ningún material que no sea 100% Repelente Mosquito
Sentry natural. Este sistema está diseñado para atomizar el repelente en
micropartículasydispersarlasenunáreaamplia.Llenarlaunidadconquímicos,
