[High Definition Technology]
The Motorola DCT5100 is a high
definition digital cable receiver, designed
for the HDTV enthusiast. By integrating
a high definition decoder into its
advanced-interactive cable receiver,
Motorola has introduced a convenient,
space-saving one-box solution delivering
digital cable, HD programming and
interactive services* such as
e-commerce, pay-per-view, video-on-
demand, Internet browsing and e-mail.
[Advanced Convergence]
Motorola has combined enhanced video
and audio into one convenient receiver
for the best sound and picture quality
possible. With a powerful, high-end
microprocessor and graphics hardware
and a large expandable memory foot-
print, the DCT5100 is able to run
advanced platforms. The DCT5100
also features an integrated high-speed
DOCSIS cable modem that can be
activated by cable providers to allow
their subscriber to take full advantage
of future services.
[Benefit Driven]
What does all of this mean for cable
providers and retailers? The DCT5100
is the winning combination that helps
cable providers offer the next evolution
of digital cable services to their
customers. Cable providers can also
use the DCT5100 as a tool to increase
digital penetration and customer loyalty
as well as decrease churn. Retailers
benefit from increased traffic from
traditional cable customers, revenue
