1 Veiligheidsvoorschriften
1.1 Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften
• Lees deze instructies aandachtig. Lees en volg alle instructies na. Bewaar de instructies in een veilige plaats voor verdere
raadpleging. Laat geen mensen het apparaat assembleren, inschakelen, instellen of gebruiken voordat ze deze instructies
gelezen hebben.
• Dit product is alleen ontworpen voor gebruik in goed geïsoleerde plaatsen of voor occasioneel gebruik.
• Dit toestel kan door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar gebruikt worden, door mensen met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale
capaciteiten of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, indien onder toezicht staan en de nodige instructies krijgen voor een
veilig gebruik van de apparatuur en de risico’s begrijpen die aan het gebruik ervan verbonden zijn. Kinderen mogen met
het toestel niet spelen. De reiniging en het onderhoud van het toestel mag niet uitgevoerd worden door kinderen zonder
toezicht van een volwassene.
• Om oververhitting te vermijden, bedek het verwarmingstoestel nooit.
• Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar moeten uit de buurt van het apparaat blijven, tenzij ze onder voortdurend toezicht staan.
• Kinderen in de leeftijd van 3 tot 8 jaar kunnen het apparaat in- en uitschakelen als het in normale gebruiksstand geplaatst
of geïnstalleerd is en als ze begeleid en geïnstrueerd worden in het gebruik en de risico’s die verbonden zijn aan het
gebruik van het apparaat. Kinderen van 3 tot 8 jaar kunnen het apparaat niet aansluiten, schoonmaken of onderhouden.
• Sommige onderdelen van deze apparatuur kunnen zeer heet worden en brandwonden veroorzaken. Wees vooral
voorzichtig met kinderen en kwetsbare mensen.
1.2 Speciale veiligheidsvoorschriften
• Controleer voor gebruik de aanduiding op de stroomkabel. Afhankelijk van het type kabel, kan dit apparaat in
verschillende omstandigheden gebruikt worden.

• Bij het gebruik van elektrische apparaten, moeten altijd fundamentele voorzorgmaatregelen genomen worden, namelijk:

• Merk op dat het toestel zeer warm kan worden en daarom op een veilige afstand van ontvlambare voorwerpen zoals
meubels, gordijnen en dergelijke geplaatst moet worden.
• Bedek het verwarmingstoestel nooit.
• Het toestel mag zich nooit net onder een wandcontactdoos geplaatst worden.
• Sluit het verwarmingstoestel niet aan op een aan/uit-timer of andere apparatuur die het apparaat automatisch kan
inschakelen.
• Het verwarmingstoestel mag niet geplaatst worden in een ruimte waarin ontvlambare vloeistoffen of gassen gebruikt of
opgeslagen worden.
• Als een verlengsnoer gebruikt moet worden, moet het zo kort mogelijk zijn en altijd volledig afgerold.
• Sluit geen ander apparaat op hetzelfde stopcontact als het verwarmingstoestel aan.
• Gebruik dit toestel niet in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van een bad, douche of zwembad.
• Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het door de fabrikant, een erkende technische dienst of een gekwaliceerd
technicus vervangen worden, om gevaren te voorkomen.
• Zorg ervoor dat het verwarmingstoestel voortdurend onder toezicht staat en houd kinderen en dieren uit de buurt ervan.
• Plaats het toestel niet op een bewegend voertuig of in een plaats waar iemand erop kan struikelen.
• Ontkoppel het toestel van de stroomtoevoer als het gedurende een lange periode niet gebruikt wordt.
• Laat het toestel niet gedurende lange tijd onbeheerd achter terwijl het in gebruik is. Trek aan de stekker, doe dit nooit
door aan de kabel te trekken.
• Houd het verwarmingstoestel uit de buurt van gordijnen of plaatsen waar de luchtinlaat kan geblokkeerd worden.
• De stroomstekker is waterdicht wanneer deze niet in gebruik is. Om het risico van elektrische schokken of stroomuitval
te voorkomen, mag u het apparaat nooit met natte handen gebruiken of bedienen als er water op het netsnoer is.
• Gooi het gebruikte apparaat niet weg met ongesorteerd afval. Maak gebruik van gescheiden
inzamelingsvoorzieningen. Neem contact op met uw Gemeente voor meer informatie over beschikbare
inzamelingssystemen. Als elektrische apparaten op stortplaatsen gestort worden, kunnen gevaarlijke stoffen in het
grondwater en vervolgens in de voedselketen terechtkomen, met alle gevolgen van dien voor uw gezondheid en
welzijn.

• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (inclusief kinderen) met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of
mentale capaciteiten of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan van een verantwoordelijke
persoon en geïnstrueerd worden om het apparaat te gebruiken en de risico’s verbonden aan het gebruik ervan te
begrijpen.
• Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan zodat ze niet met het apparaat spelen.
2 Inleiding
• Afhankelijk van het type stroomkabel, kan dit verwarmingstoestel alleen gebruikt worden in woningen, magazijnen,
bouwwerven of kassen. Het is uitgerust met een thermostaat en een thermische beveiliging met automatische reset voor de
bediening van de verwarmingselementen. De thermostaat detecteert de luchttemperatuur en regelt de kamertemperatuur.
De ventilatormotor wordt geregeld door de thermostaat en stopt met werken wanneen de thermostaat de verwarming
uitschakelt, en de thermische beveiliging met automatische reset schakelt de verwarming uit om de veiligheid in geval van
oververhitting te garanderen.
• Bij het eerste gebruik van de verwarming, kunt een lichte rookontwikkeling waarnemen. Dit is normaal, en het stopt na
korte tijd. Het verwarmingselement is gemaakt van roestvrij staal en beschermd door een dunne laag olie tijdens de
productie. Rook wordt veroorzaakt door olieresten wanneer het begint op te warmen.

2.2 When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of
smoke. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time. The heating element is
made of stainless steel and was coated with protection oil by production. The
smoke is caused by the left oil when heated .

5 Bediening
1. Plaats het verwarmingstoetel in verticale positie op een harde oppervlakte en op een veilige afstand van vochtige
omgevingen en ontvlambare voorwerpen.
2. Sluit het toestel aan de stroomtoevoer aan.
3. Stel de thermostaatknop op MAX en laat het apparaat op volledige kracht draaien.
4. De verwarming wordt ingeschakeld wanneer de keuzeschakelaar voor verwarming op een van de vermogensstanden
ingesteld is.
5. Zodra de ruimte de gewenste temperatuur heeft bereikt, stopt het verwarmingselement met werken, de ventilator blijft
draaien. Wanneer de temperatuur daalt, wordt het verwarmingselement weer in bedrijf genomen. De verwarming schakelt
automatisch aan en uit, waardoor de kamertemperatuur constant blijft.
6. Voordat u het apparaat uitschakelt, zet de thermostaat op de positie MIN en draai de schakelaar in de ventilatorpositie.
Laat het apparaat gedurende 2 minuten afkoelen, schakel het uit en trek de stekker.

6 Reiniging en onderhoud
1. Voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt, moet u de stekker uit het stopcontact halen en het apparaat laten afkoelen. Het
chassis is gemakkelijk vervuild. Veeg het vaak af met een zachte spons. Veeg elk vuil onderdeel af met een spons gedrenkt
in water van < 50 °C en een mild reinigingsmiddel en droog het frame vervolgens met een schone doek. Zorg ervoor dat
er geen water in het apparaat komt. Spuit geen water op het apparaat, gebruik nooit oplosmiddelen zoals benzine om het
apparaat te reinigen om het frame te beschermen.
2. Reinig de stroomkabel en de stekker, laat deze drogen en steek ze in een plastiek zak.
3. Bij het opbergen van het apparaat, laat het eerst afkoelen en zorg ervoor dat het droog is. Bedek het vervolgens met een
plastiek zak, stop het in de verpakkingsdoos en bewaar het in een droge en goed geventileerde ruimte.
7 Storingen oplossen
U kunt veel voorkomende problemen oplossen, zodat u geen beroep hoeft te doen op technische dienst. Probeer eerst de
oplossingen die in onderstaande tabel voorgesteld worden, om te proberen het probleem op te lossen voordat u de technische
dienst belt.

1 Consignes de sécurité
1.1 Consignes de sécurité générales
• Lisez attentivement ces instructions. Lisez et respectez toutes les instructions. Gardez les instruction dans un endroit sûr pour
pouvoir les consulter à tout moment. Ne laissez personne assembler, allumer, régler ou utiliser l’appareil sans qu’il ait lu
d’abord ces instructions.
• Ce produit est conçu pour être utilisé uniquement dans des espaces bien isolés ou un usage occasionnel.
• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de 8 ans, par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques,
sensorielle ou mentales diminuées, ou un manque d’expérience et de connaissance si elles sont supervisées et reçoivent les
instructions nécessaires concernant l’utilisation sûre de l’appareil et qu’elles comprennent les risques liés à son utilisation.

• Lors de l’utilisation d’un appareil électrique, des précautions de base doivent toujours être prises, notamment :
• Le radiateur ne convient pas pour une utilisation à l’extérieur par temps humide, dans les salles de bains ou dans des
environnements humides ou mouillés.
• Notez que le radiateur peut devenir très chaud et doit donc être placé à une distance sûre des objets inammable tels
que les meubles, les rideaux et similaire.
• Ne couvrez jamais le radiateur.
• Le radiateur ne peut pas se trouver juste sous une prise murale.
• Ne branchez pas le radiateur sur une minuterie d’allumage/d’extinction ou d’un autre équipement qui peut mettre
automatiquement l’appareil en marche.
• Le radiateur ne peut pas être placé dans une pièce où des liquides ou des gaz inammables sont utilisés ou stockés.
• Si une rallonge électrique est utilisée, elle doit être la plus courte possible et toujours complètement déployée.
• Ne branchez aucun autre appareil sur la même prise de courant que le radiateur.
• N’utilisez pas ce radiateur dans l’environnement immédiat d’une baignoire, d’une douche ou d’une piscine.
• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, un service technique agréé ou une
personne qualiée, pour éviter tout danger.
• Assurez-vous que le radiateur est constamment sous surveillance et tenez les enfants et les animaux à l’écart.
• Ne placez pas l’appareil sur un véhicule en mouvement ou dans un endroit où il pourrait faire trébucher quelqu’un.
• Débranchez l’appareil si nous ne l’utilisez pas pendant une longue période.
• Ne laissez pas l’appareil longtemps sans surveillance pendant qu’il fonctionne. Tirez la che, ne le faites jamais en
tirant sur le câble.
• Tenez le radiateur loin des rideaux ou des endroits où l’entrée d’air pourrait être bouchée.

2 Introduction
• En fonction du type de câble d’alimentation, ce radiateur ne peut être utilisé que dans des habitations, des entrepôts,
des chantiers de construction ou des serres. Il est équipé d’un thermostat et d’un disjoncteur thermique à réarmement
automatique pour la commande des éléments chauffants. Le thermostat détecte la température de l’air et contrôle la
température ambiante. Le moteur du ventilateur est contrôlé par le thermostat et il s’arrête de fonctionner lorsque le
thermostat coupe l’élément chauffant, et l’interrupteur thermique à réarmement automatique éteint le chauffage pour assurer
la sécurité en cas de surchauffe.
• Lors de la première utilisation du chauffage, vous pouvez remarquer une légère émission de fumée. C’est normal, et cela
s’arrête après un court laps de temps. L’élément chauffant est en acier inoxydable et protégé par une ne couche d’huile
pour lors de la fabrication. La fumée est causée par les résidus d’huile lorsqu’il commence à chauffer.

5 Utilisation
1. Placez l’appareil en position verticale sur une surface dure et à une distance sûre des environnements humides et des objets
inammables.
2. Branchez le radiateur à l’alimentation électrique.
3. Réglez le bouton du thermostat sur MAX et laisser fonctionner l’appareil à pleine puissance.
4. Le radiateur s’allume lorsque le sélecteur de chauffage est réglé sur l’un des réglages de puissance.
5. Une fois que la pièce atteint la température requise, l’élément chauffant s’arrête de fonctionner, le ventilateur continue
à tourner. Quand la température diminue, l’élément chauffant se remet à fonctionner. Le radiateur s’allume et s’éteint
automatiquement, et maintient ainsi la température ambiante constante.
6. Avant d’éteindre l’appareil de chauffage, mettez le thermostat sur la position MIN et tournez l’interrupteur en position
ventilateur. Laissez refroidir l’appareil pendant 2 minutes, puis éteignez-le et retirez la che.

6 Nettoyage et entretien
1. Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez-le de la prise et laissez-le refroidir. Le châssis se salit facilement. Essuyez-le
souvent avec une éponge douce. Pour chaque partie sale, essuyez-la avec une éponge trempée dans de l’eau à < 50 °C
et un détergent doux, puis séchez le châssis de l’appareil avec un chiffon propre. Veillez à ne pas laisser d’eau entrer
à l’intérieur de l’appareil. Ne projetez pas d’eau sur l’appareil, n’utilisez jamais de solvants comme de l’essence pour
nettoyer l’appareil, an de protéger le châssis.
2. Nettoyez le câble d’alimentation et la che, séchez-les et mettez-les dans un sac en plastique.
3. Lorsque vous rangez l’appareil, laissez-le d’abord refroidir et veillez à ce qu’il soit sec. Couvrez-le ensuite avec un sac
plastique, mettez-le dans sa boîte d’emballage et rangez-le dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.
7 Résolution des pannes
Vous pouvez résoudre beaucoup de problèmes courants, ce qui vous évite de devoir faire appel au service technique. Essayez
d’abord les solutions proposées dans le tableau ci-dessous, pour tenter de résoudre le problème avant d’appeler le service
technique.

1 Safety instructions
1.1 General safety instructions
• Read instructions carefully. Read and follow all instructions. Place instructions in a safe place for future reference. Do not
allow anyone who has not read these instructions to assemble, light, adjust or operate the heater.
• This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.

• The fan heater is not suitable for use outdoors in damp weather, in bathrooms or in other wet or damp environments.
• Please note that the fan heater can become very hot and should, therefore, be placed at a safe distance from

• The fan heater must not be located immediately below a wall socket.
• Do not connect the fan heater using an on/off timer or other equipment which can automatically switch the device on.
• The fan heater must not be placed in rooms where ammable liquids or gases are used or stored.
• If an extension cord is used, it must be as short as possible and always be fully extended.
• You must not connect other appliances to the same mains socket as the fan heater.
• Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
• Make sure heater is always under surveillance and keep children and animals away from it;
• Do not place the appliance on moving vehicles or some where easy to be tipped over.
• When you don’t use the appliance for a long time, unplug the appliance.
• Don’t leave the heater for a considerable amount of time when in use. Pull the plug straight out, never remove the plug
by pulling on the cord .
• Keep the heater far from curtain or places where the air inlet can easily be blocked.
• The power coupler is waterproof when not in use. In order to prevent possible electric shock or leakage current, never
use the appliance with wet hand or operate the appliance when there is water on the power cord.
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact you local
government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliance are disposed of in landlls
or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and

2 Introduction
• Depending on the power cord type this fan heater may be used only in household, warehouses and workshops, building
sites or greenhouses depending. It incorporates a thermostat and a self-resetting thermal cut-out to control the heating
elements. The thermostat feels the air temperature and controls the surrounding temperature. The fan motor is controlled by
thermostat and it stops working when the thermostat cuts off the heating element, and the self-resetting thermal cut-out will
switch off the heater to ensure the safety when overheating.
• When using the heater for the rst time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke. This is quite normal and it stops after
a short time. The heating element is made of stainless steel and was coated with protection oil by production. The smoke is
caused by the left oil when heated.

5 Using instructions
1. Position the fan heater so that it stands upright on a rm surface and at a safe distance from wet environments and
ammable objects.
2. Connect the fan heater to the mains.
3. Set the thermostat knob to the MAX and let the heater operate with full power.
4. The fan heater will switch on when the heating selector is set to one of the power settings.
5. Once the room reaches the required temperature, heating element will stop working, fan keep working. Once the
temperature decreased, the heating element will be working. The fan heater now starts and stops automatically and thus
keeps the room temperature constant.
6. Before switch off the heater, please turn the thermostat to MIN position and turn the switch to fan position, let the appliance
cool down for two minutes then turn off the heater and pull out the plug.

6 Cleaning and maintenance
1. Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the socket and let it cool down. The enclosure is easily to get dirty, wipe
it often with soft sponge. For every dirty parts, wipe with a sponge dipped in <50°C water and mild detergent, then dry
the heater enclosure with clean cloth. Be careful not to let the water enter the appliance inner. Don’t splash water onto the
heater, never use solvent like gasoline etc. to clean the heater, in order to protect the enclosure.
2. Clean the cord and plug, dry and pack it in a plastic bag.
3. When you store the heater, let it cool down rst, keep it dry. Then cover it with a plastic bag, put in a packing box and
store it in a dry, ventilated place.
7 Trouble shooting
You can solve many common problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the suggestions below to see if
you can solve the problem before calling the service centre.
