INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND USE
The Myron & Davis In-Dash Navigation System includes
a built in DVD player that should not be viewed by the
driver while driving to avoid violation of State and Local
Laws. This product should be installed by a professional
to ensure proper installation and operation.
Myron & Davis is not responsible for any potential accidents,
property damage or bodily harm resulting from improper
installation or operation.

Multi-Media Navigation System Installation Guide
- Read the entire installation instructions prior to performing any work .
- Before installation, check to see that all parts are not damaged or defective.
1 - Ensure all appropriate materials are available
Installation tools needed:
- Digital Multi – Meter
- Philips screwdriver set
- Trim Removal tools
- ¼” drive sockets
- Torx or Allen wrenches
- A functional DVD or CD

2- Caution
-Battery
Check the battery to ensure it is fully charged.
NOTE: Some new vehicles batteries are not fully charged and may cause improper
operation
3 - Warning
- Remove the key from the ignition
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal
- Care must be used working with vehicles with airbags to prevent:
- injury
- damage to or malfunction of the airbag system
- work on malfunctioning systems or components must be performed by certied
- technicians
4 - Removal Of The Dash Trim
Use caution when removing dash trim components as not to damage or mar the
surfaces or damage the fasteners.
-Inspect all fasteners for damage and replace as necessary

Step 1 - Remove right screw under
right side dash trim
Step 2 - Remove left screw under
left side dash trim
Step 3 - Remove 2 bottom screws
securing OEM Radio
Step 5 - Loosen right side of the
OEM Radio Step 6 - Remove OEM Radio
5 – Removal Of The OEM Radio
Remove the OEM Radio and prepare the Myron and Davis Unit for installation by
following the steps below.
Note: Inspect all fasteners and brackets for damage. Replace as necessary before the
installation process is started.
Step 4 - Loosen left side of
the OEM Radio

Step 8 - Remove 2 screws on the bottom
securing the upper housing
Step 9 - Remove upper plastic
housing
Step 10 - Remove 2 top screws
securing OEM LCD
Step 11 - Remove 2 bottom
screws securing OEM LCD
Step 12 - Completely remove
OEM LCD
5 – Removal Of The OEM Radio Cont’d.
Step 7 - Disconnect OEM Radio

Step 1 - Mount the GPS and
Satellite Radio antenna on
the exterior of the vehicle
Step 2 - Connect the optional
Satellite Radio Tuner as
shown below
Step3 - Mount the iPod /
Satellite Radio interface
module in a convenient
location
Step 4 - Position the iPod
interface connector
conveniently for end user use.
The GPS and Optional Satellite Radio Antenna should be mounted on the exterior
of the vehicle and optional iPod interface connector in a user friendly location
within the vehicle cabin. Follow the steps below for proper installation.
Note: Avoid routing the GPS harness near to other power sources to ensure
peak operation
6 - Satellite Radio, iPod interface and GPS Antenna
Note: The installer is responsible to route harnesses not to aect the vehicle
safety systems and system installation. Harmnesses must be routed away from airbags
and other safety systems

Step 5 - Arrange wiring
7 - Connecting and installing the Myron & Davis unit
Follow the steps below to ensure proper installation and connection of the Myron & Davis
unit.
Note: To ensure that the video cannot be viewed when the vehicle is in motion,
connect the (blue/white) Brake Wire to the Emergency Brake Switch
(grounded when engaged).
Note: Carefully route the wire harnesses so they cannot be damaged during the
installation process of the Myron and Davis unit.
Step 3 - Install OEM LCD
display into trim panel

Myron & Davis screen
Step 8 - Install screen and
secure wiith screws
Step 9 - Connect OEM Radio to
our connectors Step 10 - Connect all connections behind OEM Radio
Step 11 - Install OEM Radio
Step 12 - Secure OEM Radio with 2 screws

Step 13 - Install driver side
trim
Step 14 - Install passenger
side trim
Step 15 - Secure OEM Radio
under cavity
Step 16 - Make all connection
to Myron & Davis unit
Step 17 - Install unit Step 18 - Secure unit
