1.0 General Information
2.0 Description
GThis MYSON HI-LINE RC E unit is designed for wall-mounted
installation with a maximum installation height of 2.13m to
the underside of the unit.
GThe unit should be mounted with the air outlet downward.

3.0 Electrical Supply
GThe unit is supplied with a 1.5m cord.
GA fused (10A) electrical spur with a switch having 3mm
separation on all poles must be provided in an easily
accessible position adjacent to the unit.
GDo not energize the electrical supply until the installation is
complete.
This unit must not be installed immediately below
a socket outlet.
This unit is not suitable for use in bathrooms or
other similar high humidity areas.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or a
similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a
hazard.

Warning: This appliance must be earthed.
The electrical installation must comply with local or national regulations.
GDrill and plug two holes on the wall suitable for no.8 x 1.5"
screws in a suitable location.
GThe minimum distance from either fixing point to a corner
is 100mm.
GThe minimum distance above unit is 50mm.
GFix the two screws leaving them approximately 10mm proud
of the wall.
GHang the unit on the wall.
GMake the electrical connection to the fused spur.

Warning: Do not cover the unit or obstruct the grill area. If covered there is a risk of fire.
GDo not use the heater in the presence of combustible
material.
GWhen the unit is switched off using the ‘on/off’ switch, the
fan will continue to run for about 30 seconds to allow the
element to cool before stopping.
GThe remote control must be fitted with 2 AAA batteries.
Caution: In order to avoid a hazard this
appliance must not be supplied through an
external switching device such as a timer or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched
on and off by the utility.
Remote Control Functions:
On/Off Switches the unit on and off.
Mode Switches the unit between 1000W, 2000W and
fan only.
Swing Switches the oscillating outlet vanes on and off.
Timer The run time can be adjusted in ½ hour increments
up to a maximum of 7½ hours. The duration of time
selected is indicated by the front panel lights.
‘+’ & ‘-’ Enables the room set point temperature to be
adjusted. When the room temperature reaches the set
point temperature, the heater will stop heating. When
the room temperature drops 3°C below the set point,
heating will resume. The fan will remain running at all
times.
5.0 Operating Instructions
Operation
Ensure that the electricity supply is switched on.
Heating
Switch on the unit using the ‘On/Off’ button. The fan LED will be
illuminated RED (standby) with no operation of the unit.
Use the ‘Mode’ button to cycle the unit through the different
operating modes, Off, Fan only, 1kW, 2kW, 2kW with louver
swing and finally back to standby.
The relevant indicator will be illuminated to show the mode that
is selected.
Before going back to standby the fan will continue to run for
approximately 30 seconds to cool the element before the
louvers close and the fan stops.
During the cooling period the fan LED will flash green, then
return to red when the unit returns to standby.
Timer
Pressing the ‘Time’ button at any point during the run mode will
cause the timer function to be activated.
Time periods from ½ hour up to a maximum of 7½ hours run
time can be selected.
As the ‘Time’ button is pressed the time LED’s will illuminate
indicating the duration of the time selected.
At the end of the time period selected the unit will return to
standby.
It is not possible to alter the room set point temperature from
the unit controls.

Isolate the electricity supply.
Maintenance should be restricted to the occasional removal of
dust and lint around the unit.
The outer surface may be wiped over with a damp cloth taking
care to avoid water entering the grille areas.
