INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing a MYVELO Pedal Assist Bike!
What is commonly referred to as a Pedal Assisted Bike is a personal transportation device that relies on muscle
propulsion, with the aid of an electric motor.
The principles governing the riding of this vehicle are virtually the same as those valid for a traditional bike.
This manual provides the user with a description of the features and operation of the vehicle.
Use of the vehicle is under the sole responsibility of the driver who, after reading and understanding this manual
and having requested from the seller and/or manufacturer any clarifications deemed necessary, considers themself
suitable from a psychological point of view to use the vehicle.
The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage of any kind and extent caused to persons or property as a result
of the use of the vehicle.
The illustrations in the manual may differ slightly from your product, but the contents of the directions remain
valid.

This vehicle should not be handled and/or used by children under 14 years of age and/or persons with reduced physical, sensory, and
cognitive abilities unless they are supervised and/or adequately instructed by a person for their safety in how to use it and are aware
of all possible inherent risks.
Keep the device and its power supply (including cord) out of the reach of children under 8 years of age and prevent them from
playing with it.
This device is not suitable for transporting objects or animals.
Any use of the product not in accordance with the directions in this manual and in violation of traffic laws is to be considered
improper and dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from improper and/or unreasonable use.
Packaging items (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) should NOT be left within reach of children or incapacitated persons as
they are potential sources of danger. Before using the unit visually verify its integrity. If in doubt, contact qualified personnel for
repairs. If the external power supply is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical service department or
otherwise by a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any risk.
Before connecting the appliance's power supply unit to the mains power supply, check that the connection data, indicated on the
nameplate, are in accordance with those of the mains power supply.
Connect and disconnect the wires of the power supply unit with dry hands and hold them firmly.
Unwind the power supply cables completely to avoid overheating, avoid stretching them in any case (do not pull, tug or use them to
drag the devices to which they are connected).
Avoid placing power supply cables where they can be easily damaged.

SAFETY WARNING
Before using the product, carefully check that it's correct assembly and its integrity. This bike is suitable for carrying a single person,
within the weight limits given in the technical characteristics, subject to training and practice.
Important! Do not exceed the load limits, minimum and maximum, given in the "Technical Specifications" section.
The use of this product is not recommended for children under the age of 14 and/or in case of height less than 140cm. Pregnant
women and children are strongly discouraged from using this product. Wear comfortable clothing that allows the body to maintain
flexibility in order to have better control.
It is recommended, for proper use, to always wear appropriate protection (such as a bicycle helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, etc.) and
be careful not to cause damage to people and/or property.
It is recommended that you do not use the vehicle in crowded spaces before you have done proper practice and are comfortable
with mechanisms that allow you to brake and accelerate. Especially while you are still getting comfortable with the bike, it is
necessary to routinely use the machine in a very spacious environment, free of obstacles, where there is full freedom of movement
and on a floor that is as smooth, even and as free of slopes as possible. It is also advisable to use it away from objects that could be
damaged or injure the driver as a result of accidental impacts.
Remember that it is always advisable to maintain an appropriate speed for the environment and the characteristics of the terrain on
which you are moving: very uneven terrain, not perfectly horizontal or with suction or bumps, can cause balance problems and falls
with all the consequent risks.
Avoid making turns at high speed or abruptly, as this can cause a fall. It is therefore advisable to perform turns at moderate speed
and in any case with a large radius of curvature.
5

SAFETY WARNING
Do not use the product in situations dangerous to your personal safety and that of people close to you.
This device has a non-negligible height from the floor, especially when crossing passages such as doorways or low passages: be
careful to assess well the height of the passageway in relation to your own added to that of the vehicle.
Avoid use on surfaces that are slippery (such as ice) or too uneven (such as gravel). The product has a degree of water and dust
resistance that makes its use possible in the presence of accidental and non-persistent splashes. Therefore, it is not allowed to be
used in the presence of standing water, puddles, or adverse weather conditions (such as rain, snow, or hail). Use the product in a dry
environment to avoid damage to the motor and electrical circuits.
While riding always keep both hands on the handlebar grips and do not carry objects in your hands.
Do not turn off the bike while riding; first stop the movement. Always turn off the device after use.
Never lift the bike (such as for transport) by grasping it from the wheels, as there is danger of injury.
Before cleaning the bike, make sure it is turned off and the power outlet is dry and protected from liquid. To wash, use a cloth that
has been moistened with water only. When finished, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use the bike after using substances
that may alter your mental state and/or reduced your normal concentration abilities .

5. Precautions required before each use
Check that the brakes and front and rear lights are working properly. Also, check the
tire pressure. On derailleur oriented bicycles, the rear derailleur tensions the chain
automatically. Make sure the hinges on your bike are properly locked. In fact, when
you use your bicycle regularly, the tension of the adjustment and locking may change
slightly. When necessary, adjust the tension again.
Please note: If you use your bicycle often, you should check the condition of your
fork, frame, suspension and fastening. Materials and components may be subject to
different reactions to use and wear.

SAFE DRIVING AND AUTONOMY
After starting the vehicle, maintain a speed sufficient to maintain balance and appropriate to the
surroundings. Regarding the places where this vehicle can be used and the speed limits imposed according
to the place of use, refer to the current local regulations.
This bike is equipped with a control panel that allows you to set the speed limit attainable with the help of
the electric motor (see section "LCD Display User Manual" for details on limiting speed values).
The end user should use this feature to adjust their riding to the limits imposed by applicable local laws.
AUTONOMY OF USE
The maximum distance that can be driven on a single battery charge is given as an approximation in the
Technical Specifications" section.
This value should be considered approximate since it can be influenced by many factors such as:
the type of surface traveled, as uneven surfaces and those with obstacles (such as gravel) can increase
consumption and reduce battery life; the weight carried, within the weight limits specified in this manual,
influences energy consumption; speed and driving style, a uniform straight motion requires less energy
expenditure than motions with continuous acceleration/deceleration or steering; the proper management
of battery charging and discharging cycles.
13

BATTERY SAFETY AND WARNING
To avoid damage and/or premature deterioration of the battery, charging should be carried out in a dry environment and at a temperature within
the range indicated between the Technical Specifications of the product. Open the cover cap of the DC power socket on the product. Check that all
connectors and sockets involved are dry (especially the DC power socket on the product). Connect the power cord to a power supply, conforming to
the nameplate data on it (if the connection is correct, the LED on it will glow green), then plug the DC power connector into the DC power socket on
the product: when the battery is charging, the LED on the power supply will be red; when fully charged, its color will change to green.
When charging is completed, protect the power socket with the power plug. The battery charging status is indicated on the display by the
appropriate icon (6 notches indicates a maximum charge). Caution! It is recommended not to leave the product connected to the power supply for
prolonged periods and in any case not longer than the time required to fully charge the battery because this may adversely affect the performance
and longevity of the battery.
Always store and use the battery and power supply unit in a dry environment with temperature within the range specified in the "Specifications"
section and with adequate ventilation.
DO NOT charge the battery outdoors or with exposure to the elements.
Prevent the battery from coming into contact with water or other liquids (danger of chemical reactions).
Keep the battery away from flames and heat sources: it may explode.
DO NOT short the electrical contacts of the battery: it may explode.
DO NOT bump or shake the battery violently: in case of breakage, do not touch with bare hands.
DO NOT open or disassemble the battery for any reason.
DO NOT use non-original power supplies: use of a non-original power supply can cause risk of damage and even explosion.
Keep children away from the battery and power supply.
