Resting Heart Rate
MyWindFit uses your resting heart rate to determine your customized training zones, see following link. We
recommend recording your resting heart rate at least once every month as it changes depending upon your level of
physical fitness. MyWindFit records and tracks your resting heart rate through the Member Web portal, where a
convenient graph shows how you are trending.
To record your resting heart rate:
First thing in the morning, before you get out of bed:
1. Connect the heart rate monitor strap to your chest as shown above.
2. Open the MyWindFit app on your smart device or mobile phone.
3. Navigate to the Profile and Edit Profile Screen
4. At the bottom of the Edit Profile Screen, click on the green Resting Heart Rate button
5. Let your heart rate stabilize from 1-3 minutes and click the red Stop button
a. When MyWindFit first connects to the heart rate monitor, the initial readings will be high as the sensor
is adjusting to the signal. Wait approximately 1 minute or more until the heart rate reading stabilizes +/-
2 bpm’s.
6. Your new resting heart rate is now saved.
