1-2 During Use
・ Walk with the Rollator while taking care that the wheels do not become inserted in a groo e, such as a groo e of a
railway crossing, escalator, or ele ator. A wheel in a groo e may lead to falling.
・ Be sure to use the product with the center cap installed. If debris or water enters the interior, the predetermined
brake force will not be achie ed, resulting in the risk of falling. If the center cap comes off, contact the distributor.
・ Refrain from using the product on a wet surface. Doing so may lead to slipping and an accident.
・ Be careful of bumpy and inclined surfaces. Do not use the product on steep sloping roads.
・ Be sure to use the product after first erifying that the le els of adjustment on the left and right are the same. Failure
to do so may lead to an inability to maintain straightness, resulting in an accident.

Device Features and Component Names
2-1 Device Features
When installed to a Rollator, the CONPAL unit (Speed Control unit), automatically acti ates the brake at the time of
sudden acceleration, pre enting falling during Rollator use.
Unlike a con entional resistance brake system, the CONPAL unit acti ates the brake only at times of sudden
acceleration, making it possible for the user to walk smoothly without the brake applied during normal walking.
The CONPAL unit (Speed Control unit) is a brake capable of suppressing acceleration; it cannot fully stop the tires.
Do note, therefore, that there is a risk of falling when the user becomes fully separated from the Rollator, for
example. Caution is required.
