1.General
1.01 The NAC PS01is a wall mountable power
supply that is designed to be used in applications
where 48Vdc power (1.35amp) is required. This
product is ideal for use with assemblies like the
NAC WM02 and WM04 Series of 2 and 4-position
T1/HDSL mountings. The PS01comes with a
bracket for wall mounting, or can rest on the floor.
The PS01is powered via a standard (6-foot) 3-
prong AC outlet, and provides power output via the
attached 3 conductor power cord (5’-7”).
1.02 Whenever this document is revised, the
reason for revision will be stated in this
paragraph.
1.03 Features:
Impact resistant polycarbonate design
6-foot AC powering cable
6-foot, 3 conductor powering cable to power
the apparatus case or other telecom
equipment.

2. Installation
2.01 The PS01is designed to be used with
Telecom apparatus cases such as the NAC
WM02, WM04 and WM08 Series 2, 4 and 8-slot
T1/HDSL mountings (or their equivalents). The
PS01can power up to 8 T1/HDSL modules. The
PS01provides a mounting bracket for installations
where wall mounting of the PS01is required.
Wiring Connections
2.02The PS01derives its power from a standard
3-prong AC wall outlet. The PS01delivers power
to the assembly via a 5’7” 3-conductor power
cable. Spade lugs on the end of the cable are
connected to the appropriate screw terminal lugs
(power terminal) on the assembly. The powering
connections are listed below in Table 1.

2.03 The following warning information is
required by the UL Safety Testing Laboratory:
A. Never install telephone wiring during a
lightning storm.
B. Never install telephone jacks in wet locations
unless the jack is specifically designed for wet
locations.
C. Use caution when installing or modifying
telephone lines.
D. Never touch un-insulated telephone wires or
terminals unless disconnected at the network
interface.

3. Inspection and Warranty
Inspection
3.01 Please inspect this equipment thoroughly
upon receipt. If the equipment is found to be
damaged, please immediately report this damage
to both the transportation company and to North
American Communications Company (NAC).
Warranty
3.02 North American Communications Company
warrants this product for the period specified by
the terms governing the sale of the product.
3.03 Please do not attempt to field repair this
equipment. Any modification or repair attempt will
immediately cause the warranty to be null and
void. This equipment should only be serviced by
an authorized NAC representative. If the product
is suspected of being faulty, replace it with an
identical unit (optioned identically) and retest the
circuit.
Repair and Return
3.04 In cases where the equipment is found to be
defective, please contact NAC for a Return
Authorization number. When returning, please
provide a description of the problems or
symptoms to:

3.05If the product is found to be defective for
reasons other than misuse or abuse, a
replacement product will be supplied.
Replacement units are provided consistent with
the urgency of the situation. If your need is
