ABOUT US
Nagel Machine Engine Production Industry and Trade Inc. has
been working since 1976 to give the best product and service to the
customers. Producing elevator machine since 1981, the company
moved to its new factory where the new time and technology
needs are covered in 1991, and then we started to produce elevator
engine as well.
Continuing our investments for technology and substructure
investments, we created our own R&D laboratory in 2003, all
software and production equipments are added in order to have
more efcient products and to be able to answer various needs.
Our products have CE, ISO, TSE, Certicate of Guarantee, Service
Compliance Certicate and Magnetic Compatibility Certicate.
Producing human elevator and freight elevator machines and
engines (from 320 kgs to 7000 kgs), our company doesn’t follow
but create the innovation, with its specialist staff and developed
technical equipments without compromising quality.

USED MATERIALS and CHARACTERISTICS
* Our elevator motor is an asynchronous motor compatible with 3 Phase 220/380 Volt 50Hz electric
voltage, with copper sheet bar, squirrel-cage.
* While producing the machine and the motor, raw materials and auxiliary materials compatible with
TSE standards are used. Therefore, it is not possible to experience any problem.
* Bodies and covers of the machine and the motor are pig sand casting from standard ingot.
The machine main gear cone is manufactured by alloyed material and resistant to stress.
* The machine main gear and bearings are alloyed bronze casting, samples are taken from each batch
casting and analyzed in KOSGEB laboratories.
* Steel material is used in machine and motor shafts and worm screw production.
Worm screw gear is manufactured as being hardened against abrasion and sanded
* First operating of our machine is made in our factory and nal controls are made.
* Motor insulation, cable and glazed wires comply with TSE standards and they are varnished and
res after winding.
* Electro mechanic brake of our machines are operated under 180 Volt DC voltage and they have
double wound operated.
* Our machine has been designed and manufactured according to EN 81.20 and EN 60204-32 standards.
Out motors used in our machines has been designed and manufactured according to EN 60034.1 standard.
THE MOTOR CONTROL CHARACTERISTICS
* Electricity panel compatible with motor power should be used.
* In order to deactivate the motor in case that THERMOSTAT 600C that is engaged against body
temperature increase as a result of over loading in the elevator motor and controlled external fan and
extreme winding temperature, 24 Volt AC THERMISTOR 120°C is used. Discharge ends should be
connected to phase protection relay on the panel.
* It is recommended to use a switch on electricity panel deactivating drive trains in case of need.
* The motors those are directly connected to main supply, thermic magnetic switch against over loading
that cuts feeding on conductors under whole voltage and that can be installed manually again, should be used.

1. The ones those have no authority, should not treat the machine and the motor.
2. Certainly, deactivate the motor before maintenance and control.
3. Make grounding connections immediately after machine assembly
4. Traction sheaves are protected in accordance with the standard. Accessible rotating
machine parts are colored yellow for warning purposes.
5. Protection is available to protect persons from sheaves, and to prevent loosen ropes
be removed from shaves. These protections should not be removed except replacing
ropes and sheaves.
6. Determine cabinet movement direction by using hand wheel after assembly and stick the
appropriate direction label given with the manual, on the hand wheel.
7. Do not wear long garments during machine assembly and maintenance.
8. The elevator machine should not be operated continuously for a long time on low speed.
9. Machine rooms should be ventilated appropriately. That ventilation should be made in
a way to protect elevator machine from dust, harmful smoke and moisture
10. There should be at least 200 lux lighting in machine room.
11. Voltage over 24 AC Volt should not be given to thermistor.
