Aplicaciones
Este equipo se emplea para secar los portaobjetos usados en estudios patológicos
realizados en hospitales o laboratorios de investigación y en la enseñanza en escuelas y
universidades.
Posee un microprocesador de control que permite que la temperatura aumente de forma
rápida y se mantenga estable. La pantalla de cristal líquido y el panel de control hacen que
sea de fácil configuración. Memoriza de forma automática la última temperatura usada.

Instalación
Inspección inicial
•Desembale la placa calefactora para histología, retire el plástico que la envuelve y
quite la protección de poliespán en que viene encajada.
•Sin conectar el equipo a la red eléctrica, asegúrese de que no presenta ningún daño
debido al transporte. De ser así, comuníquelo inmediatamente a su distribuidor a
fin de poder hacer las reclamaciones pertinentes en el plazo establecido por el
servicio de transporte.

•Coloque la placa calefactora para histología sobre una mesa horizontal y estable,
dejando a su alrededor el espacio de trabajo necesario.
•Cumpla todas las medidas requeridas por la normativa vigente en materia de
seguridad e higiene del trabajo (dispositivos de seguridad eléctrica, productos
inflamables, tóxicos y/o patológicos, etc.).
•No coloque el equipo en zonas próximas a fuentes de calor, material magnético o lo
exponga directamente a la luz del sol.
•Está prohibida la presencia de productos inflamables (gases y líquidos) en el lugar
de trabajo.
•Inserte el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente 220V 50Hz provista de toma
de tierra y por el otro extremo al conector de la placa calefactora para histología.
•Cuando no vaya a usar el equipo durante largos períodos de tiempo asegúrese de
que está desconectado de la red.
Operación
Panel frontal
•Encienda el equipo accionando el interruptor “ON-OFF” situado en la parte
posterior.

•Pulse la tecla OK. Aparecerá la pantalla del menú con las opciones TIME (TIEMPO),
START (INICIO), TEMPER (TEMPERATURA) y AUTOMATIC (FUNCIONAMIENTO
AUTOMÁTICO). Puede seleccionar una de ellas mediante las teclas de flechas y
posteriormente pulsando OK.
•Pulsando la tecla RESET podrá volver a la pantalla del menú.
•La placa calefactora tiene dos formas de funcionamiento: normal y automático.
•Funcionamiento normal: Seleccione TEMPER. Pulse la tecla →. Ajuste el valor de la
temperatura de calentamiento pulsando ↑ o ↓. A continuación pulse OK.
•Seleccione START para comenzar el calentamiento de la placa. En la pantalla
aparecerán la temperatura fijada (Setup) y la temperatura de la placa (Baker).
•Para finalizar el calentamiento de la placa pulse RESET. Apague el equipo
accionando el interruptor “ON-OFF”.
•Funcionamiento automático: Seleccione TIME. Esta pantalla muestra SYS TIME
(HORA DEL SISTEMA), START TIME (HORA DE INICIO) y EXIT TIME (HORA DE
TERMINACIÓN).
•Pulse → para ajustar la HORA DEL SISTEMA. Pulse ↑ o ↓ para ajustar las horas.
Pulse →. Pulse ↑ o ↓ para ajustar los minutos. Pulse OK.
•Seleccione TIME nuevamente. Ajuste la HORA DE INICIO y la HORA DE
TERMINACIÓN. Pulse OK.
•Seleccione AUTOMATIC. En la pantalla aparece WAITING (EN ESPERA), la hora del
sistema y la hora de inicio del calentamiento.
•Al llegar la hora de inicio en la pantalla se muestra la temperatura fijada (Setup) y la
temperatura de la placa (Baker).

•Al llegar la hora de terminación en la pantalla aparece nuevamente WAITING (EN
ESPERA), la hora del sistema y la hora de inicio del calentamiento.
•Si no va a usar nuevamente el equipo apáguelo accionando el interruptor
“ON-OFF”.
Use of the equipment
This equipment is used to dry the slides used in pathological studies carried out in

hospitals or research laboratories and in teaching in schools and universities.
It has a microprocessor control that allows the temperature to increase quickly and
remain stable. The liquid crystal display and the control panel make it easy to configure.
Automatically memorizes the last used temperature.

Installation
Initial inspection
•Unpack the Tissue Baking Processor, remove the plastic that surrounds it and
remove the poliespan protection.
•Without connecting the equipment to the power supply, make sure that it does
not present any damage due to transport. If so, notify your distributor immediately
so you can make the relevant claims within the deadline set by the transportation
service.
Installation
•Place the Tissue Baking Processor on a horizontal and stable table, leaving the
necessary work space around it.
•Comply with all the measures required by current legislation on occupational
safety and health (electrical safety devices, flammable, toxic and / or pathological

products, etc.).
•Do not place the equipment in areas near heat sources, magnetic material or
expose it directly to sunlight.
•The presence of flammable products (gases and liquids) in the workplace is
prohibited.
•Insert the power cable into the 220V 50Hz socket provided with a ground
connection and at the other end to the connector of the Tissue Baking Processor.
•When you are not going to use the equipment for long periods of time, make sure
to disconnect it from the power.
Operation
Frontal panel
•Turn on the equipment by pressing the "ON-OFF" switch on the back.
•Press the OK key. The menu screen will appear with the options TIME, START,
TEMPERATURE and AUTOMATIC. You can select one of them using the arrow keys
and then pressing OK.
•By pressing the RESET key you can return to the menu screen.
•The Tissue Baking Processor has two modes of operation: normal and automatic.

•Normal operation: Select TEMPER. Press the key →. Adjust the heating
temperature value by pressing ↑or ↓. Then press OK.
•Select START to begin heating the plate. The set temperature (Setup) and the
temperature of the plate (Baker) will appear on the screen.
•To end the plate heating, press RESET. Turn off the equipment by pressing the
"ON-OFF" switch.
•Automatic operation: Select TIME. This screen shows SYS TIME, START TIME, and
EXIT TIME.
•Press →to adjust the SYSTEM TIME. Press ↑or ↓to adjust the hours. Press
→. Press ↑or ↓to adjust the minutes. Press OK.
•Select TIME again. Set the START TIME and the EXIT TIME. Press OK.
•Select AUTOMATIC. The display shows WAITING, the system time and the start
time for heating.
•When the start time comes, the screen shows the set temperature (Setup) and the
plate temperature (Baker).
•When the exit time comes, the screen shows again WAITING, the system time and
start time for heating.
•If you are not going to use the equipment again, turn it off by pressing the
"ON-OFF" switch.
