Instrucon Manual
CAUTION: Risk of electrical shock. Do not open the unit.
1. Please read, keep and follow these instrucons.
2. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instrucons.
3. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
4. Only use aachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
5. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, parcularly at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the product.
6. Unplug this product during lighng storms or when unused for long periods of me.
7. Do not let objects or liquids enter the product.
8. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is requierd when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have
fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally,
or has been dropped.
9. Opening the unit by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty.
CAUTION: Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than herein may result in
hazardous radiaon exposure or other unsafe operaon.
Cleaning: Use a so, dry cloth to avoid making scratches to the surface. Do not use cleaning alcohol, or other
solvent fluids to clean the surface of the Cabinet as this can both damage the coang and also cause electrical
failures and fire if it enters the electronics in the unit! Before cleaning, please unplug the unit from the AC
power outlet.
Overloading: To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, avoid overloading wall outlets or extension cords.
Open fire: keep this sound system a safe distance away from any open flames such as a lit candle. No open flam
sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
Operang temperatures: The recommended operang temperature range for the sound system is 5 to 40
degrees Celsius (41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit).
Label locaon: The product labels and safety related markings are located on the back of the unit and the power
adaptor.
Unplugging while in operaon: Do not remove the AC power cord if music is playing.
Baeries in the remote control: Keep the remote control baery away from children. It may cause a fire or
chemical burn if mishandled. Do no recharge, disassembled, heat above 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees
Fahrenheit). Replace only with a baery of the correct type and model number. (Cr2025).
Used baeries: Please displose of used baeries properly, following the local regulaons.
Do not place the baery in the fire.

DISPLAY SCREEN: LCD featuring special icons.
Volume knob with Standby key & Scrolling Up/Down funcon:
IR Receiver Window - receives the signal from the remote control.
Blouetooth status indicator: Blink at Pairing mode, ON when connected.
During Standby, short press to switch ON the radio.
During operaon, long press to switch the radio to STANDBY.
During Alarm, short press to SNOOZE.
During operaon, turn this knob CW to increase the volume or CCW to decrease the volume.
In normal operaon, press once will change the knob rotaon funcon from volume up/down to
scrolling up/down in different mode.
In DAB mode, rotate to explore the staons you are searching for or have stored. You can then press
on this knob to enter into the staon that apppeared in the display.
In FM mode, rotate to adjust the FM frequency, stop the rotaon when you see your desired frequency.
When you are inside the menu, rotate to access the menu upward/downward followed by pressing on it
to confirm your selecon.

DC IN: Connect with the provided DC power supply adaptor.
AUX IN: Connect audio source to this stereo input.
USB Port: Provide DC 5V 1A output for USB charging.
F Connector: Connnect with the provided DAB/FM antenna.

Slide out baery compartment on rear of remote control (remove baery if replacing).
Place new CR2025 in baery well as shown (make sure ‘+’ side is facing up).
Re-insert baery compartment.

INSTALLING / REPLACING THE BATTERY
The remote control comes with one CR2025 baery which must be installed. When the range of the remote
seems reduced or if it ceases to work properly, it’s me to replace the baery.
Remove the protecon slip from the remote control baery compartment as shown below.
Your Nakamichi Delta 20 comes supplied with one CR2025 baery.

Connect the power adaptor’s DC plug to the power jack on the back of your product. Then connect the
power plug to your AC outlet.
The DISPLAY will show “00:00” for the first me.
To turn on the unit, press the Volume knob on the front panel or the Standby key on the remote control,
the unit will go into the DAB mode and start scanning. If there is a DAB staon being received, the clock
and date will then be updated automacally. Or otherwise you have to perform the clock sengs aerwards.

GETTING STARTED
WARNING: Lithium baeries can cause burns if disassembled, shorted, recharged, exposed to water,
fire, or high temperatures. Do not place loose baeries in a pocket, purse, or other container containing metal
objects, mix with used or other baery types, or store with hazardous or combusble materials. Store in
cool, dry, venlated area. Follow applicable laws and regulaons for transport and disposal.

STANDBY: Press this buon to either turn on or put on standby.
MODE: Press to switch between DAB, FM, BT and AUX mode.
INFO: In DAB, FM mode, while receiving a broadcast signal,
press this buon to display informaon.
SCAN: Press to do full scan of staon in DAB mode / Press to
scan for next staon in FM mode.
EQ: Press to access EQ menu. You can select from
MY EQ / NORMAL / CLASSIC / JAZZ / POP / ROCK
For navigaon of the menu in difference mode.
Press to select DAB staon and FM frequency
PAIR/ PLAY/PAUSE: In BT mode, press and hold for Bluetooth pairing.
When Bluetooth connected, short press for play or pause
during BT device playback.
MENU: Press this buon to access the seng menu.
BACK: Under Menu, press to go back for previous menu layer
ENTER: Press this buon to confirm or enter to next menu.
VOLUME UP

MUTE: Press this buon to mute or un-mute.
To store or recall preset staons (DAB and FM mode only)
ALARM 1 & 2: Press this buon to set Alarm 1 and 2
Snooze: During Alarming, go to Snooze

A scanning operaon will be done when the unit is switched ON for the first me. The DAB icon will
light up, and the scanning procedure is started: The scanning procedure could take up to a minute to
complete.
Press on the remote control to show the Radio staon informaon on display.
To explore the found staons, first press on the VOLUME knob once, then rotate the same knob, or you can
press on the remote control to browse the staons.
To select and listen to a staon, again press on the VOLUME knob, or you can press the key on the
remote control.
Press on the remote control to do full scan for DAB staons.

LISTENING TO DAB RADIO
Select FM radio as the audio source using the key on the remote control, the display should display an
FM frequency, e.g. “103.2” FM icon will light up on display.
To acvate manual tuning, first press on the VOLUME knob once, then rotate the same knob to tune to your
desired frequency; or you can press keys on the remote control: one click increases or decreases
the frequency by 50kHz.
Hold on your Remote, the FM radio will search for the previous/next staon automacally.
To search the enre frequency band, press , and all the found staons will be automacally stored
into the Staon Presets 1-10.
Repeatedly press to show the Radio staon informaon on display.
Press to toggle between mono and stereo mode, icon will light up on display in stereo mode.

LISTENING TO FM RADIO
To store your favorite staons in preset 1-5: Press and hold the preferred preset buon
unl the display indicates ‘STORED’.
To store your favourite staon in preset 6-10: press the buon once, then press and hold the preferred
preset buon unl the display indicates ‘STORED’.
You can store up to 10 DAB and 10 FM preset radio staons.
To recall a stored in preset staon 1-5: press the preferred preset buon

LISTENING TO THE BLUETOOTH DEVICE
CONNECT THE LATEST BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Select BT as the audio source using the key on the remote control, the display should display “BT”.
For first me use, the unit will go to Pairing mode automacally and the Blue LED will flash slowly.
Turn ON your Bluetooth device (e.g. Smart Phone) sengs and scan for devices, “Delta 20” will be shown
on your device’s Bluetooth list.
Connect your device to the BT Speaker with Bluetooth, your device menu will show “Connected”, the
Blue LED will change to stable ON.
You can play your music wirelessly with this system.
During Bluetooth connecon, if you want to pair another Bluetooth device, you can disconnect the
current connecon by pressing and holding the key for 3 seconds unl “DISCOVER” appears in the
display; or disable the BT connecon by your mobile device menu, the speaker will then go to Pairing
mode and other devices can be connected.

This is a quick method to connect the unit with the latest Paired device.
When the unit is on another mode, press key to switch to Bluetooth mode, it will connect with the
latest device automacally; the BT LED will keep ON when connecon is successful. If the speaker cannot find
the latest Paired device in 10 seconds, it will then go back to the Pairing mode and be ready for the pairing
from other Bluetooth devices.

PAIRING
This system can pair with most Bluetooth 2.0 & 2.1 devices. Pairing may vary by device. Consult your Bluetooth
device’s owner’s manual for pairing instrucons.
Remark:
For devices with Bluetooth 2.0, your device may request you to enter a passcode during pairing, press “0000”
on your device.
PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE WITH NFC (NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION) FUNCTION
Press key on your remote to switch on unit.
Turn on the NFC funcon on your Bluetooth device (I.E. Smart Phone).
Place your device surface near the NFC sensor area of your DAB+ Clock Radio (located on top of unit),
(Some devices may have a pop
up message to confirm the DAB+ Clock Radio connecon, select YES to accept).
To disable the connecon, just place your device surface near the NFC sensor area of the DAB+ Clock
Radio again or turn off the NFC funcon on your device.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to connect a different device TURN unit off and then please repeat
above steps (1-3) for new device.

Your Bluetooth Speaker can be paired with most Bluetooth devices, pairing may vary on your device. Please
consult your Bluetooth device owner’s manual for pairing instrucons.

LISTENING TO AUXILIARY AUDIO
SETTING YOUR UNIT UP
i) DAB mode ONLY
Connect a media player (i.e. Smart Phone) to the aux-in jack on the back of your unit (AUX cable not supplied).
Select AUX IN as the audio source using the key on the remote control. “AUX IN” will appear in the display.
Rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel or press the +/- key on the remote control to adjust your
volume level.
Press on the remote control to enter set up menu in different mode, then press on remote or
rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel to scroll up and down the menu, followed by pressing on the
remote or on the VOLUME knob to enter or save the seng; press key on the remote to go back to
menu, or press key again to exit.
FULL SCAN: Perform full scanning of DAB channels
MANUAL TUNE: Perform Manual DAB frequency seng
DRC: Set DRC level to High/Low/Off
Press to adjust the frequency and press to confirm e.g. (5A 174.928Mhz)

SCAN SETTING: Select STRONG or ALL for scanning recepon
iii) Available in All Mode
DATE / TIME SETUP: Set the Date and Time manually or synchronised to the DAB / FM broadcast signal
UPDATE: Select the clock to be automacally synchronised to the broadcasng signal data or not -
DAB / FM / NONE / ANY.
If “NONE” is selected, the clock will not synchronise to any broadcasng signal.
If “ANY” is selected, the clock will be synchronised to both the DAB and FM broadcasng signal.
12 / 24 HR: Set the me display mode (12 hours / 24 hours).
BACKLITE: Set the brightness of the display - TIMEOUT duraon and LEVEL seng.
AUDIO SETTINGS: Set FM MONO/STEREO mode
STRONG: Scanned for staons received with strong signals only.
ALL: Scanned for all staons received with strong and weak signals.
SET TIME: Press on the remote or rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel to adjust the me and
date, followed by pressing on the remote or pressing on the VOLUME knob to confirm and save.

TIMEOUT seng (18 SEC - ON) LEVEL seng (LOW / HIGH / MEDIUM)
SW VER: Show the firmware version of the unit
CUST VER: Show the customer / factory version of the unit
Press on the remote or rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel to adjust the meout duraon
or the level of brightness, followed by pressing on the remote or pressing on the VOLUME knob to confirm
and save.
Remark: All me, date, alarm, radio seng and Bluetooth device memories will be lost.
EQ: Press on the remote or rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel to select the EQ effect -
MY EQ / NORMAL / CLASSIC / JAZZ / POP / ROCK, followed by pressing on the remote or pressing on the
VOLUME knob to confirm and save.
Inside the “MY EQ”, you can set the level of TREBLE and BASS; the LOUDNESS ON/OFF.
RESET: Select to reset the unit, choose “YES” and press on the remote to start the factory reset or “NO”
to cancel reset.

Switch ON the radio, press or key on the remote control to select ALARM 1 or ALARM 2, a
blinking or icon will be shown on display.
Press to start, press on remote or rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel to adjust
the seng, then press or press on the VOLUME knob to confirm and go to the next setup item,
or press to go back to previous setup item.
If selecng “DAB” and “FM”, set the target alarm staon
from the preset or last staons before going to the next step.
If selecng “Once”, set the target alarm date before going to
the next step.

USING THE ALARM
i) Set the Alarm
At standby mode, press the and key to acvate/deacvate the alarms or switch on the radio,
press or key on the remote control to select ALARM 1 or ALARM 2, then press to
select ON/OFF, then press to save.
The and icons light up on display indicang that the alarm is acve.

ii) Switching the Alarm on and off
When the Alarm is set to ON and saved, the or icon will be shown on display to indicate
alarm is acve.

While the alarm is acve, press “SNOOZE” key on the remote control or the “STANDBY” key at main unit to
snooze the alarm for several minutes (based on seng, default at 15 minutes, you can press “SNOOZE” on
remote repeat to set next snooze me). The icon will light up to indicate snooze is acve.
To disable snooze funcon, press “STANDBY” key on remote or main unit again.
iii) Snooze and acknowledge the Alarm
