For installation information and drawings, see SM802 Section 2. Select the appropriate revision of the
drawing for the serial number of the unit. The drawings specific to this derivative are listed below and can
be found at the end of this supplement.

Section 3 Operation

The CALL switch is a momentary type (normally out, OFF). The CALL switch provides 28 VDC at a single
rear P1 connector pin while depressed. This is used for activation of the Model 240 or 205 chime signal
(see pin identification list).
To key a selected transmitter, the pilot may either use the typically yoke mounted Push-To-Talk (PTT) key
switch or the front panel mounted PTT switch with the NORM or OXY microphones, or the PTT key switch
on the hand held microphone when using it.
