The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within
an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user
to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous volt-
age” within the product’s enclosure that maybe of

is intended to alert the user to the presence of impor-

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accor-
dance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has

At a Glance
Press to set the sleep timer.
Press and hold to set the clock time.
Press to cycle through the preset
stations.
Press to save stations to preset
memory.
Press to turn the radio on and to
select the AM or FM radio band.
Press and hold to turn the radio off
and place the system in Standby
mode.
When the system is off (i.e., standby):
• Press to enable/disable Alarm 1.
• Press and hold to set Alarm 1.
When the system is on, press to
lower the volume level.
When the system is off (i.e., standby):
• Press to enable/disable Alarm 2.
• Press and hold to set Alarm 2.
When the system is on, press to raise
the volume level.
In radio mode, press to tune to a
lower station.
When setting a the clock or an alarm,
press to set the minutes.
In radio mode, press to tune to a
higher station.
When setting a the clock or an alarm,
press to set the minutes.

Connecting the Unit to
Power
Before plugging in the AC power cord to the AC wall
outlet, make sure that the voltage of your electric-
ity supply is same as that indicated on the rating
plate.
⚠⚠The provided power adapter works
with AC 120V power.
Battery Backup
Battery backup will preserve the current time, alarm
settings, and stored radio stations in the case of
power failure or interrupted AC power.
Insert two UM-4 batteries (AAA) into the battery
compartment. Be sure to observe the proper po-
larity (the “+” and “-” signs) as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
Setting the Clock
1. With the unit in CLOCK mode (i.e., the radio is
off), press and hold the button. The
time will begin to ash on the display.
2. Press the button to adjust the hour; press
the button to adjust the minute.
• Hours and minutes run forward only
when being set; if you pass the desired
time, continue pressing the button until
the time cycles back around.
3. When the correct time is set, press the
button again to conrm.
⚠L Take note of the PM LED indicator
when setting the time.

Setting the Alarms
1. With the unit in CLOCK mode (i.e., the radio is
off):
• Press and hold the button to
set Alarm 1 (the Alarm 1 time will ash
on the display,) or;
• Press and hold the button to
set Alarm 2 (the Alarm 2 time will ash
on the display).
2. While the Alarm time is ashing on the display,
press the button to adjust the alarm hour;
press the button to adjust the alarm min-
ute.
3. When the desired alarm time is set, press the
or button. The clock will
display the current radio station.
• To choose to wake to the radio, press the
or button again to
nish setting the alarm.
• To choose to wake to a buzzer, press
or until the display reads “BU” then
press the or button
again to nish setting the alarm.
To enable or disable the alarms, press or
. Check the Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 status
lights on the display to see the current alarm state.
⚠L Take note of the PM LED indicator
when setting the alarm time.
When the Alarm Sounds
Snooze Function
Whenever the alarm (radio or buzzer) activates, it
can be temporarily suspended 9 minutes by press-
ing the SNOOZE button once.
The alarm will then sound again automatically after
10 minutes.

Turning o the Alarm
Press the or button to turn the
alarm off when it sounds.
Listening to the Radio
1. Press the button to turn the ra-
dio on and to select the AM or FM radio band.
• The FM band is active when the FM indi-
cator is lit; The AM band is active when
the AM indicator is lit.
2. Press the or buttons to manually
tune to a radio station. Press and hold the
or buttons to scan to the next station
with a strong signal.
3. Press the button to cycle through the
preset stations.
⚠L Stations with a weak signal can only
be tuned in manually.
Saving a Radio Station to
Memory
1. Tune the radio to the frequency you want to
save as a preset station.
2. Press the button to activate PRESET
mode; the display will ash [P01].
3. Press the MEMORY button to save the current
frequency as Preset 01.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to save additional preset sta-
tions.
⚠L Up to 10 stations can be stored in
memory (P01 to P10).
Turning O the Radio
While in radio mode, press the button
until the clock turns off (i.e., standby).

Sleep to Music Function
Place the radio on a timer so that you can listen to
music as you fall asleep.
1. While in radio mode, press the but-
ton. The display will show the default sleep
time of 90 minutes.
2. Continue to press the button to tog-
gle through the timer length options (90-80-
70-60-50-40-30-20-10 min. or OFF).
3. The radio will turn off automatically after the
set time has elapsed.
