that contain audio tracks as well; however, depending on the conditions of
the recording equipment,recording program orthe CD-R aswell as CD-R/W
disc itself, some CD-R or CD-R/W may not play.
2. When making music CD with CD-R or CD-R/W disc, too high recording speed
may result inpoor signal qualityand therefore, itis recommendable to select
24x or lowerspeed for CD-Rrecording and 4xor lower speed for CD-R/W
recording.

1. Before usingthe remote control for the first time, pull the insulating sheet out
of the remotecontrol as the direction indicated by the arrow.(see fig.1)
2. Press themovable block hold as the direction indicated by the A arrow(See
fig.2), then pullthe battery holder out of the remote control as the direction
indicated by theB arrow(see fig.2).
3. Replace theold battery by a new battery with (+) polarity side upward.
(See fig.3).
4. Insert thebattery holder to the original position in remote control(See fig.3).
Improper use ofbattery may cause overheating or explosion. so that result in
injury or fire.

Common and Radio Operation:
1. To turn on/off the unit
Press any button except the EJECT and OPEN buttons to turn on the unit. The unit will
also turn on when a disc, SD card or USB stick is inserted.
Press the power button to turn off the unit.
2. To select playback mode
Press MODE button to select RADIO, DISC, CARD(after inserting SD card),
USB(after inserting USB stick) ,BT and AUX mode.
3. To adjust the volume level
Rotate the VOL knob to adjust the volume level during playback.
4. To mute or resume the sound
Press the MUTE button to eliminate or resume the sound immediately during playback.
To resume the sound immediately, can also rotate the VOL knob.
5. To display and adjust the clock time
Press the CLK button briefly to display time for 5 seconds on the display, and then
returns to its previous display unless the button is pressed again.
Then press the CLK button and hold for more than 1 second until the real time flashes
on the display. Then you can adjust HOUR or MINUTE by rotating the VOL knob.
6. To select and adjust the mode of the sound and menu
A) To select and adjust the sound mode:
Press the SEL button briefly, it is activated as selecting each mode of E. VOL.
-> VOLUME ->BASS ->TREBLE -> BALANCE -> FADER ->
When selecting a desired audio mode, rotate the VOL knob to adjust the audio effect.
In each mode, the waiting time is about 5 seconds, and the time waiting time is over,
it returns to the last display mode of tuner or CDP mode.
The control mode of E.VOL is operated with following numeric display.
- VOL: (MIN)00, 01,......46, 47(MAX).
- BASS/TRE: -07, -06,...,00,...+06,+07
- BAL: 0LR9, 1LR9, ..., 9LR9,..., 9LR1, 9LR0
- FAD: 0FR9,1FR9, ..., 9FR9,..., 9FR1, 9FR0
B) To select and adjust the menu mode:
When pressed and hold for 2 seconds, it is activated as cyclical mode of following
functions for user’s selection.
->BEEP (ON/OFF) -> USER SET(FLAT/CLASSIC/ROCK/POP)
->VOL(LAST/DEFA) ->CLK(ON/OFF)->CLK(12/24)mode.
After selecting the desired mode, rotate the VOL knob to select one setup item of the
desired mode.
BEEP ON/BEEP OFF
BEEP ON mode: The beep is generated when any key is pressed.
BEEP OFF mode: The beep sound is disabled.
INSTALLATION
To boost up the capability of anti-jamming,
please make sure fix tightly the metal support
strap into the metal joint that connect to the
chassis of the car.

To remove the unit out of the metal mounting sleeve,
insert the two supplied KEYS into the left and right side
slots of the chassis at the same time. Then pull the chassis
out of the metal mounting sleeve as shown in the right
illustration.

Bend the tabs on the metal mounting
sleeve against the DASHBOARD with
a screwdriver.
INSTALLATION METHOD
This is an anti-theft installation method.
The main unit wears a METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE.
Please connect the wiring, eg, the Power Supply, the Speakers and the Antenna
according to the requirements of this Instruction Manual, then install the metal
mounting sleeve into the car as per the diagram illustrated below.
NOTE
Before mounting and operating
the CD player,remove the metal
mounting sleeve illustrated bythe
arrows.
Remove the two screwsthat
fix the CD deckmechanism player
during transportation before
mounting the player.

VOL LAST/VOL DEFA
VOL LAST: The radio switches on at the actual volume it had when it was last
switched off.
VOL DEFA: Afterpressing SEL button, AVOL will be displayed. Then you can
pre-select a constantswitch-on volume by using the VOLknob.
CLK ON/OFF
CLK ON: Clockwill always show on the display when power off.
CLK OFF: Clockwill disappear on the display when power off.
7. To reset the system
Press the RESETbutton to reset the system when the LCD displaybe erratic, some
buttons cease operating,or the sound become distorted.
8. To remove the front panel
Press the OPENbutton to flip down the front panel and then remove it from the head unit.
And theanti-theft LED indicator will flash all the time till the front panelis assembled
back to thehead unit.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before using the check list please make all the connections first.
If you still have questions after going through the checklist, please consult
your local customer service representative.
Common Symptoms
There is no power.
The CDs cannot
be loaded.
Cause
The fuse has blown.
Presence of CD disc inside the player
Inserting the disc in upside down
The surface of CD is extremely dirty
or it is damaged.
Temperature inside the car is too
high.
The volume control is set too low.
There is no sound.

1. Switch the device off and on again. Or press

2. Reinstall the front panel
The device has not been correctly
connected.
The installation angle is more than

Adjust the installation angle to less than 30

Turn up the volume properly.
Check the power and earth connection
according to the wiring diagram.
Cool off until the ambient temperature returns

Radio Operation:
1. To select radio band
In RADIO mode, press the BAND button shortly and repeatedly to select your desired radio
band in sequence and circulation as follows:
-->FM1-->FM2-->FM3-->MW1-->MW2-->
2. To select the radio station manually or automatically
Press >>| or |<< button to automatically search up or down. It will play when finds the station.
Press >>| or |<< button and hold for about 2 seconds to enter MANUAL searching mode.
Then press >>| or |<< button repeatedly to manually search up or down for your desired
station from the current frequency.
3. To store the current station or turn on the preset station
In RADIO mode:
A) Press one of 1-6 number buttons and hold for about 1 second to store the current station
in the preset memory bank of the number button for the current band.
B) Press one of 1-6 number buttons to turn on the preset station stored in the preset memory
bank of the number button for the current band.
4. To automatically store for the strongest stations and scan for each stored stations
A) Press A.P button and hold for about 1 second, it will search from the current frequency
and check the signal strength until 1 cycle search is finished on current band. And then 6
strongest available stations will be preset to the corresponding preset numbers. When
the Auto-storeage operation is completed, it will execute the Preset Scan continuously.
B) Press the A.P button to scan all preset stations in the memory of the current band and
stay on each memory stations for about 5 seconds.
To stop preset scan, press this button again.

Care For Using CD's:
About CD-R/CD-R/W discs:
In addition to commercially-recorded audio CD's, this unit can play CD-R and
CD-R/W discs. Income cases, particularlywhen recorded on older CD burners,
some CD-R and CD-R/W discs may not play. Also, whenever you are recording
a CD for playback in this receiver, it is recommended that you record at 24x or
slower speed for CD-R and 4x or slower for CD-R/W to achieve higher signal
quality and better playback performance.
Do not attachany sticker oradhesive tape on the disc.
Handle the disc by its edge to keep the disc clean and do not touch the surface.
. Insert
a disc with labelled surface up, or it will damage the unit.
3. Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or nearby heat sources such as
heating vents, caliduct which can cause the disc to warp.
Do not leave disc in a car if it is parked in direct sunlight as that will lead to a
considerable rise in the temperature inside the car.
4. Do not use any secondhand or rented disc, usually, there is glue on the
surface of those discs, it will stop the unit working and damage it.
5. Always store the disc in its case for protection. Scratched up discs will produce
poor sound performance and cause CD player to skip.
6. In raining day or wet area, the moisture may form on the disc or the optical
parts, The playback may not be possible. If moisture forms on the disc, wipe it
off with a soft cloth. If moisture forms on the optical parts of the unit, allow the
unit to sit for about one hour with power on.
7. Do not use solvents such as benzine or thinners. Commercially available
cleaners or anti-staticspray will damagethe unit.
1. To keep the disc clean:
Before playing a disc, wipe it off with a clean, dust-free cleaning cloth.
Wipe the disc outwards from the disc centre.
2. When one has already been inserted. Doing so may damage the unit

SD, USB or Disc Operation:
1. SKIP UP / DOWN BUTTONS
Press the >>| button briefly to play next track.
Press the |<< button briefly to play the current track from the beginning of it if the playing
time is more than 2 seconds.
Press the |<< button briefly to play the previous track if the playing time is less than
2 seconds.
Press the >>| or |<< button and hold to skip forwards or backwards, release to resume
normal playback.
2. A.P BUTTON (Auto-storage /Preset scan)
During MP3/WMA file in disc, SD or USB mode, press the A.P button , it is activated
selecting song mode, and the TRK 000(if the number of tracks is less than 100 and
more than 9, it will be TRK 00) will be visible on the LCD display and the hundreds digit
0 that the MP3/WMA disc, SD card or USB contains will flash.
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit place from 0 to 9.
Then press the A.P button to confirm the entered number and the 0 on the tens digit
will be flashing.
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit from 0 to 9.
Then press the A.P button to confirm the entered number and the 0 on the units place
digit will be flashing.
Rotate the VOL knob to select and enter the number on the flashing digit from 0 to 9.
After finishing enter all the number of the song serial number on the flashing digit, press
the SEL button to play the corresponding track.
3. TOP/>||, INT, RPT, RDM BUTTONS
1) Press the TOP/ >|| button briefly to interrupt the playback of the disc, SD or USB.
Press again to resume normal playback of the disc, SD or USB.
Press the TOP/>|| button and hold for approximately 0.5 seconds to play the
first track of the disc, SD or USB.
2) Press the INT button to sample the first 10 seconds part of each track, and the
INT ON will be visible on the LCD display.
In the process of INT, press INT button again to stop sampling and to continue
playing the current track, and the LCD will display INT OFF.
3) Press the RPT button once to play the current track repeatedly, and the RPT
ONE will be visible on the LCD display.
During MP3/WMA disc, SD or USB mode, press the RPT button twice continuously to
play the current folder repeatedly, and the RPT ABM will be visible on the LCD display.
In the process of RPT, press RPT button again to stop playing repeatedly
mode and the LCD will display RPT OFF.
4) Press the RDM button to play all tracks on disc in random order, and the RDM
ON will be visible on the LCD display.
In the process of RDM, press RDM button again to stop playing in random order
and the LCD will display RDM OFF.
5) During the normal playback of MP3/WMA disc, SD, USB:
Press the radio preset button 6 and 5 to move up and down10 tracks at a time.
4. AUX INPUT JACK
Press the mode button to select auxiliary input playing mode. Then you can connect
any matched external audio device to this socket. Use the volume knob to adjust volume.
4. Accept/ Reject/ Hold/ End Call
A) During ringing, press TEL button to accept the call.
B) During ringing, press CLEAR button to reject the call.
C) During talking, short press CLEAR button to end the call.
D) During talking, press and hold the TEL button about 3-4 seconds it can do mobile phone
transfers to the car audio or the car audio transfers to mobile phone.
Note: During ringing, CALL OUT appears and then the phone number.
During talking, talking time appears.
5. Talking volume level setting
At talking status, use the VOL knob to adjust the sound output, but this volume level can’t
be reserved.
Note: the default volume level is 25.
6. Dialling or receiving call at unit sleep mode
When the car radio is in standby mode (Acc on and Power off), when dialling or receiving
a call, the car radio will power on automatically. After the call is completed, the radio will
revert to standby mode.
7. To transfer the audio of a file played by Mobile Phone to the Car Audio Player
If the mobile phone supports A2DP and could play audio, when the Mobile Phone plays
an audio file(For some Mobile Phones, you must select Play by BT firstly), the playing will
be transferred to the Car Audio Player.
In A2DP mode, if the Bluetooth device of the Mobile Phone support AVRCP, the functions
of the >>|, |<< and PLAY/PAUSE buttons are the same as one in disc mode(no fast forward
/backward functions for the >>|/|<< buttons). The other buttons available in disc mode are
not available.
In A2DP mode, if the Bluetooth device of the Mobile Phone support AVRCP, pressing the
MODE button can switch on between the radio, disc, USB, CARD and A2DP. But after
entered the A2DP mode again, to resume the playback and transfer to the Car Audio
Player by the Mobile Phone, you must press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
In A2DP mode ,if the phone music play mode turn to the radio mode, you need to wait
about 10 seconds.

5. EJECT KEY
In the power on state, the loaded disc can be ejected by pressing the EJ key.
6. USB SOCKET
When needing to play the file in the USB stick, turn over the plastic cover cap then insert
the USB stick into the USB socket. The system will change into the USB mode
automatically, and then play the first file in the USB.
When no needing to do USB operation, please cover the plastic cover cap.
7. SD CARD SLOT
When you need to play the file in the SD card, insert the SD card into the card slot.
The system will change into the SD mode automatically, and then play the first file in the SD.
Blue Tooth Handfree System:
1. Pairing
Turn on the Bluetooth mode of the mobile phone, then select the item of Finding the
Bluetooth Device and enter it. After finishing the finding, it will show the name of the
Bluetooth Device if finding a Bluetooth Device. Select it and enter it, then it will show
a interface that ask you to input a password. Input the password 0000 and enter it.
Then it will tell you that pair OK and then connection OK, and the LCD of the car audio
system will show BT READY and then show the name of the Bluetooth Device of the
mobile phone.
2. Connection or disconnection
A) Use the mobile phone to do connection or disconnection
1) In the connection status, find the paired and connected Bluetooth Device, then press the
disconnection button to do disconnection.
2) In the disconnection status, find the paired and disconnected Bluetooth Device, then
press the connection button to do connection.
B) When turn on the power again(after Acc off ), the front panel can search the phone have
pair automatically and be connection. And it will take you about 20 seconds.
Note:
(1) The Bluetooth LED indicator on the front panel indicates the three connection status:
-LED Turn off: No connection at all
-LED Blinking: Connection status
-LED Turn on: Talking status
(2) Bluetooth icon appears on LCD only when in connection status.
(3) In the connection status: Mobile phone transfers to the car audio whenever a dialling
takes place; Mobile phone transfers to the car audio whenever receiving a call.
3. Dialling when in connection status
A) Dial with the mobile phone directly.
B) Dial with remote control with the following procedures:
1) Press the TEL button, then CALL will appear on LCD.
2) Input telephone number with number buttons 0-9.
3) Press the CLEAR button to cancel the call if necessary.
4) Press and hold the CLEAR button to cancel all the input numbers if necessary.
5) Press TEL to execute the dialling. The talking time will appear on LCD if dialling
is successful and it is received.
C) Redial
1) Press TEL button twice, it will show the last dialled phone number on LCD.
Press TEL button once again, it will dial the number directly.
2) Press T-M button and the LCD will display the last in and last out number.
Press TEL button to dial with the number.
Note: the phone number are numbers you have dialed and the call you have received.
