IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

7) Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not
fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15) Grounding or Polarization – This product may be equipped with a polarized
alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit
into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the
plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your
electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
plug.
Alternate Warnings - This product is equipped with a three-wire grounding-type plug, a plug
having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet. This
is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician
to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type
plug.
17) Ventilation – Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure
reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these openings
must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the
product on a bed,
sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation
such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s
instructions have been adhered to.
17) The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect
device shall remain readily operable.

FCC NOTICE

CONNECTING THE UNIT TO POWER
Plug one end of the AC/DC adaptor into the DC-In jack, and then plug the other end into AC wall outlet.
Before switching on the unit, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that
indicated on the rating plate.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 4 pieces UM-2
"C" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the battery
compartment.
SETTING THE TIME
Before starting to set the time, make sure that the unit is in POWER OFF Mode
1. Press and hold the MEM/CLK SET button for approx. 1 second, the hour digit in the clock display
will start flashing.
2. Use the SKIP+/TUNE+ or SKIP-/TUNE- button to adjust the hour.
3. When the correct hour is selected, press the MEM/CLK SET button again to enter the minute mode
with minute digit flashing.
4. Press the SKIP+/TUNE+ or SKIP-/TUNE- button to adjust the minute.
5. When the correct time is selected, press the MEM/CLK SET button to store the time in the memory.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the SOURCE button to select the FM Radio mode. FM will show in the LCD display.
3. Press and hold the SKIP+/TUNE+ or SKIP-/TUNE- button for approx. 1 second, it will start to search
the next radio station in the direction of the search. The search operation simply finds stations with
strong signals. Stations with weak signal can only be tuned in manually.
4. Use the VOL+ or VOL- button to adjust the volume to the desired listening level.
ANTENNA
For best reception, fully extend the FM Antenna to receive FM stations.
SAVING RADIO STATIONS IN THE MEMORY
1. Tune to the desired stations.
2. Press the MEM CLK SET button, the display will show the next memory station number and
flashing.
3. Use the SKIP+/TUNE+ or SKIP-/TUNE- button to select memory number, then press MEM CLK
SET button again to store the station into the memory.
4. Repeat step 1 to 3 to store more radio stations in the memory.
5. Up to maximum 20 radio stations can be stored in the memory.
TO SELECT A STORED RADIO STATION IN THE MEMORY
Press the PLAY/PAUSE/M+ button to select the next stored radio station.

LISTEN TO iPOD/iPHONE WITH DOCKING CONNECTOR
Warning : Turn off your iPhone/iPod before docking on the unit
1. Press and hold the POWER button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the SOURCE button to select the iPod mode. iPod will show in the LCD display.
3. Turn theADJUSTABLE DOCK DIAL to the depth that fit your iPhone/iPod best
4. Connect the iPhone or iPod to the docking connector, the iPhone or iPod will start playing.
5. Use the VOL+ or VOL- button to adjust the volume to the desired listening level.
6. Press the SKIP+/TUNE+ button to go to the next track.
7. Press the SKIP-/TUNE- button once to go back to the beginning of the track.
8. Press the SKIP-/TUNE- button twice to go back to the previous track.
9. During playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE/M+ button to temporarily pause playing. To resume,
press the PLAY/PAUSE/M+ button again.
Warning : Please make sure that your iPhone or iPod is properly docked into the unit. Failure to
do so may damage your iPhone/iPod.
Charging your iPod
While your iPhone or iPod is docked in the unit and the unit is connected to AC power, your
iPhone or iPod will recharge until your iPhone or iPod is fully charged.
VIDEO OUTPUT TO THE TV SET
1. Connect the Video Out jack in the main unit to the Video In jack in the TV set.
2. Turn on the TV set and select AV channel.
3. Turn on the unit and select iPod mode.
4. Select the video file on your iPhone/iPod and press PLAY/PAUSE/M+ button to start playing
the video file.
AUX-IN CONNECTION
1. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the SOURCE button to select the LINE-IN mode. LINE IN will show in the LCD display..
3. Insert one side of the audio cable into the Line-Out or Phone Jack on your MP3 Player or
audio device and the other side into the AUX-IN jack of the unit.
4. Turn on your MP3 player or audio device and follow its playback instructions.
