INSTALLATIONandPOSITIONING
BringtheWAREWASHERtotheinstallationsite,removethepackagingandchecktheapplianceand
componentsfordamage;anydamagefoundmustbereportedtothetransporterinwriting.
Thepackagingcomponents(plasticbags,expandedpolystyrene,nails,etc.)mustnotbeleftwithinreach
ofchildrenandpetssincetheyarepotentiallydangerous..Allpackagingmaterialsusedare
environment‐friendly.Theycanbekeptwithoutconstitutinganyhazard,ormaybedisposedofata
specialistwastedisposalcentre.Theplasticcomponentssuitableforrecyclingaremarkedasfollows:PE
polyethylene:externalpackagingfilm,bagcontainingtheinstructions,protectivebags.PP
polypropylene:straps.PSexpandedpolystyrene:cornerguards,topofpackaging.Woodenand
cardboardcomponentscanbedisposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulations.Whenthe
productisdecommissioneditmustnotbedumpedintheenvironment;itmustbedisposedofin
accordancewiththerelevantregulations.Allmetalpartsareinstainlesssteelandcanberemoved.The
plasticpartsaremarkedwiththesymbolidentifyingthematerialused.

POSITIONING:
4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNICAL STAFF
4.1 Plumbingconnection
Watersupplyanddrainconnection
Thewaterpipelinesandelectricitysupplycableleadoutofthebottomright‐
handcorneroftheappliance.Connectthewaterintakehosetoaconnector
with¾”gasthreadedfitting,fittingthefilterAprovided(inmodelswith
aquastop,thefilterandring‐nutformasingleunit).
Theconnectiontothewatermainsmustonlybemadewithnewhoses;the
useofoldorwornhosesisnotpermitted.
Thedynamicwatersupplypressuremustbebetween1and6bar;ifitishigherapressurereducer
mustbeinstalled.
Itisessentialtofitamainstoptaponthewaterintakedeliverpipeline;thetapmustbeaccessible
afterinstallationoftheappliance,sodonotinstallitbehindthewarewasher.Thestatedcycle
durationappliestoappliancessuppliedwithhotwater>50°C<60°CIfthewarewasherissupplied
withcoldwater,thecycledurationmightincreasedependingontheintakewatertemperature.
Caution:theindoorsystemandpremisesinwhichequipmentforinstitutionsisinstalled
mustcomplywiththerelevantregulations.
Themanufacturerdeclinesallliabilityfordirectorindirectinjuryordamagederivingfromfailure
tocomplywiththeseregulations.
Beforeinstallation,checkthattherearenoobjectsormaterialsinthevicinitywhichmaybe
damagedbysteamorsplashesofwashingsolution,orthatanysuchitemsaresuitablyprotected.
Placethewarewasherinthechosenpointandremovetheprotectivefilm.
Levelthewarewasher(withtheaidofaspiritlevel)onitsadjustablefeettoensurethatitis
stable;allothermountingsolutionsmustbeapprovedbythemanufacturer.

Thewarewasherisfittedwithadrainpumpandcanoperatewithdrainconnectionsontheflooror
wall.
Refertotheconnectiondiagramforthemaximumpermittedheightofwalldrains–(seeTECHNICAL
DATA)
Caution:makesurethattheintakeanddrainhosesarenotbent,constrictedorcrushed
afterinstallation.
Wheninstallingthedrainhosetoasiphonwithvalve,themaximumheightofthedrainoutletis
reducedto600mm.
4.2 Electricalconnection
Thewarewasherandanyadditionalequipmentmustbeconnectedtotheelectrical
systembyauthorised,skilledstaff,inaccordancewiththerelevantregulations;also
complywiththetechnicalinstructionsfortheconnection.
Thetotalratedpowerisstatedontheappliance’stechnicaldataplate.
Theelectricalprotectiondevicesfittedforthewarewashermustservethisappliance
only.
Theusermusthaveamasterswitchandadifferentialsafetybreaker,withrating
suitablefortheappliance’scharacteristics,installedontheelectricitysupplylinein
accordancewiththerelevantregulations.
Theseswitchesmustbeinstalledclosetothewarewasher,beeasilyaccessibleafter
installation,andprovidecompletedisconnectionfromtheelectricalmainsin
overvoltageclassIIIconditions.

Theelectricalprotectionsystemmustundergoafunctionaltestbeforetheapplianceisputinto
operation.
Theappliancemustbeinstalledand/orinspectedbyqualifiedstaff,whowillstartitupforthefirst
timeandprovidetherelevantoperatinginstructions.
Preparingforuse(important)
Therinseaiddispenserisfittedonallmodels,thedetergentdispenseronlyonsome.
Ifbothdispensersarepresentputtheexternaldetergentandrinseaidcontainersinplaceand
inserttherespectiveintakehosesontherearoftheapplianceintothem.
Redhose:detergent
bluehose:rinseaid
Beforeinsertingthehosesintothecontainers,fittheweights(needed
toensurethattheyalwaysdrawinliquidfromthebottomsofthe
containers)andthefiltersontotheirendsasshown.
Ifthedetergentdispenserisnotfactory‐fitted,itcanberetrofitted
afterorderingtherelativekit.
Asanalternativeanexternaldispensercanbefitted,makingtheelectricalconnectionbymeansof
anH05RN‐F2x0.5mmelectricalcable,whichcanbelaidalongtherouteshownintheTECHNICAL
DATAdiagramandconnectedasshowninthewiringdiagramsuppliedwiththewarewasher.
Thedispensermustoperateon230V/50Hzwithmaximumpowerabsorptionof15W.
Connecttothedetergentdispenseroutsidethewarewasherusingtheredhosementionedabove.
4.3 Usingthewatersoftener(onmodelswiththisfeatureonly)
Thequantityoflimeinthewater(whichindicatesitshardness)causeswhite
marksondrydishesanddishesalsotendtolosetheirshineovertime.
Thewarewasherisequippedwithanautomaticwatersoftenerwhichremoves
thesubstancesthatcausehardnessfromthewaterwiththeaidofregenerating
salt.

Thefirsttimethewarewasherisused,alitreofwatermustbepouredintothe
tankwiththesalt.
Wheneverthetankisfilled,alwaystakecaretoensurethatthecapisfirmly
closed.
Themixtureofwateranddetergentmustnotgetintothesalttank,asthiswould
impairoperationoftheregenerationsystem.
Inthiscasewarrantycoverwillbeforfeited.
IMPORTANT:
Wheneverthetypeofdetergentorrinseaidischanged,itisABSOLUTELYESSENTIALtoflushout
theperistalticpumpsbyplacingtheexternalintakepipesinwaterforafewcycles.
Alwaysuseonlyproductsspecificallyrecommendedforuseinawarewasher.
Failuretocomplywiththisrecommendationleadstoforfeitureofthewarrantyentitlementon
theappliance’swatersystem.
TheinternalpipesofthedetergentandrinseaidpumpsshouldbereplacedbytheAfter‐Sales
Serviceevery12monthsor15,000washcyclesandoperationofthediaphragmrinseaidpump
shouldbechecked.

heatingelementpowerabsorptionreadingtoobtaintherealtemperature.
5.3 Parameterprogrammingprocedure
Toaccesstheprogrammingmenu,proceedasfollows:
