3 INSTALLATION AND POSITIONING
INSTALLATIONandPOSITIONING
Bringthewarewashertotheinstallationsite,removethepackagingandchecktheapplianceand
componentsfordamage;anydamagefoundmustbereportedtothetransporterinwriting.
Thepackagingcomponents(plasticbags,expandedpolystyrene,nails,etc.)mustnotbeleftwithinreach
ofchildrenandpetssincetheyarepotentiallydangerous.Allpackagingmaterialsusedareenvironment‐
friendly.Theycanbekeptwithoutconstitutinganyhazard,ormaybedisposedofataspecialistwaste
disposalcentre.Theplasticcomponentssuitableforrecyclingaremarkedasfollows:PEpolyethylene:
externalpackagingfilm,bagcontainingtheinstructions,protectivebags.PPpolypropylene:straps.PS
expandedpolystyrene:cornerguards,topofpackaging.Woodenandcardboardcomponentscanbe
disposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulations.Whentheproductisdecommissioneditmust
notbedumpedintheenvironment;itmustbedisposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulations.
Allmetalpartsareinstainlesssteelandcanberemoved.Theplasticpartsaremarkedwiththesymbol
identifyingthematerialused.
POSITIONING:
Caution:theindoorsystemandpremisesinwhichequipmentforinstitutionsisinstalled
mustcomplywiththerelevantregulations.
Themanufacturerdeclinesallliabilityfordirectorindirectinjuryordamagederivingfromfailure
tocomplywiththeseregulations.
Beforeinstallation,checkthattherearenoobjectsormaterialsinthevicinitywhichmaybe
damagedbysteamorsplashesofwashingsolution,orthatanysuchitemsaresuitablyprotected.
Placethewarewasherinthechosenpointandremovetheprotectivefilm.
Levelthewarewasher(withtheaidofaspiritlevel)onitsadjustablefeettoensurethatitis
stable;allothermountingsolutionsmustbeapprovedbythemanufacturer.

4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR TECHNICAL STAFF
4.1 Connection
Watersupplyanddrainconnection
Thewaterpipelinesandelectricitysupplycableleadoutofthebottomright‐
handcorneroftheappliance.Connectthewaterintakehosetoaconnector
with¾”gasthreadedfitting,fittingthefilterAprovided(inmodelswith
aquastop,thefilterandring‐nutformasingleunit).
Theconnectiontothewatermainsmustonlybemadewithnewhoses;the
useofoldorwornhosesisnotpermitted.
Thedynamicwatersupplypressuremustbebetween1and6bar;ifitishigherapressurereducer
mustbeinstalled.ContacttheAfter‐SalesService.
Itisessentialtofitamainstoptaponthewaterintakedeliverpipeline;thetapmustbeaccessible
afterinstallationoftheappliance,sodonotinstallitbehindthewarewasherThestatedcycle
durationappliestoappliancessuppliedwithhotwater>50°C<60°CIfthewarewasherissupplied
withcoldwater,thecycledurationmightincreasedependingontheintakewatertemperature.
Thewarewasherisfittedwithadrainpumpandcanoperatewithdrainconnectionsontheflooror
wall.
Refertotheconnectiondiagramforthemaximumpermittedheightofwalldrains–(seeTECHNICAL
DATA)
Caution:makesurethattheintakeanddrainhosesarenotbent,constrictedorcrushed
afterinstallation.
Wheninstallingthedrainhosetoasiphonwithvalve,themaximumheightofthedrainoutletis
reducedto600mm.
4.2 Electricalconnection
Theapplianceandanyadditionalequipmentmustbeconnectedtotheelectrical
systembyauthorised,skilledstaff,inaccordancewiththerelevantregulations;also
complywiththetechnicalinstructionsfortheconnection.
Thetotalratedpowerisstatedontheappliance’stechnicaldataplate.Theelectrical
protectiondevicesfittedforthewarewashermustservethisapplianceonly.
Theusermusthaveamasterswitchandadifferentialsafetybreaker,withrating
suitablefortheappliance’scharacteristics,installedontheelectricitysupplylinein
accordancewiththerelevantregulations.
Theseswitchesmustbeinstalledclosetothewarewasher,beeasilyaccessibleafter
installation,andprovidecompletedisconnectionfromtheelectricalmainsin
overvoltageclassIIIconditions.

Theelectricalprotectionsystemmustundergoafunctionaltestbeforetheapplianceisputinto
operation.
Theappliancemustbeinstalledand/orinspectedbyqualifiedstaff,whowillstartitupforthefirst
timeandprovidetherelevantoperatinginstructions.
Preparingforuse(important)
Therinseaiddispenserisfittedonallmodels,thedetergentdispenseronlyonsome.
Ifbothdispensersarepresentputtheexternaldetergentandrinseaidcontainersinplaceand
inserttherespectiveintakehosesontherearoftheapplianceintothem.

Beforeinsertingthehosesintothecontainers,fittheweights(needed
toensurethattheyalwaysdrawinliquidfromthebottomsofthe
containers)andthefiltersontotheirendsasshown.

afterorderingtherelativekit.
Asanalternativeanexternaldispensercanbefitted,makingtheelectricalconnectionbymeansof
anH05RN‐F2x0.5mmelectricalcable,whichcanbelaidalongtherouteshownintheTECHNICAL
DATAdiagramandconnectedasshowninthewiringdiagramsuppliedwiththewarewasher.
Thedispensermustoperateon230V/50Hzwithmaximumpowerabsorptionof15W.
Connecttothedetergentdispenseroutsidethewarewasherusingtheredhosementionedabove.
IMPORTANT:
Wheneverthetypeofdetergentorrinseaidischanged,itisABSOLUTELYESSENTIALtoflushout
theperistalticpumpsbyplacingtheexternalintakepipesinwaterforafewcycles.
Alwaysuseonlyproductsspecificallyrecommendedforuseinawarewasher.
Failuretocomplywiththisrecommendationleadstoforfeitureofthewarrantyentitlementon
theappliance’swatersystem.

BoththeBoilerandtheTanktemperaturesprovideinstantaneousreadingsofthecurrentvaluepicked
upbytheprobe,butduetothethermalinertiaoftheprobeoritsseat,waitabout1minuteafterthe
heatingelementpowerabsorptionreadingtoobtaintherealtemperature.
5.3 Parameterprogrammingprocedure
Toaccesstheprogrammingmenu,proceedasfollows:
