Installation Instructions:
WARNINGS:
Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow
these general precautions:
WARNING - To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric
shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards please read all warnings and instructions
included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. The electrical rating of these products is 120 or
277VAC, the installer must determine whether they have 120-277V at the fixture before
installation.
WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. Hydra Air installation requires knowledge of electrical
systems. Installation should be performed only by a qualified electrician in accordance with the
National Electrical Code and relevant local code.
WARNING - DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT! This fixture has been properly packed
so that no parts should have been damaged during transit. Inspect to confirm. Any part
damaged or broken during or after assembly should be replaced.
WARNING - Only those open holes indicated may be made or altered as a result of troffer
installation. Do not leave any other open holes in an enclosure of wiring electrical
components.
WARNING - Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical
components during kit installation.
WARNING - To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet
metal or other sharp objects.
WARNING - The fixture is intended for mounting only in a covered ceiling where only the
vent side of the fixture will be exposed to damp or dry locations.
WARNING - INSTALLATION SHOULD ONLY BE PERFORMED AFTER POWER TO THE FIXTURE
HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED.
WARNING RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
• Disconnect or turn off power before installation or servicing.
• Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the fixture label information.
• Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical
Code (NEC) and any applicable local code requirements.
• All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved recognized wire connectors.
