INTRODUCCIÓN
Su herramienta tiene muchas características
que harán su trabajo más rápido y fácil. Segu-
ridad, comodidad y confiabilidad fueron teni-
dos como prioridad para el diseño de esta he-
rramienta, hace fácil el mantenimiento y la
operación.
ADVERTENCIA: lea atentamente el ma-
nual completo antes de intentar usar esta he-
rramienta. Asegúrese de prestar atención a
todas las advertencias y las precauciones a lo
largo de este manual.
NORMAS GENERALES DE
SEGURIDAD
ADVERTENCIA: lea y entienda todas las
instrucciones. La falta de seguimiento de las
instrucciones listadas abajo puede resultar en
una descarga eléctrica, fuego y/o lastimaduras
personales serias.
GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
ÁREA DE TRABAJO
• Mantenga su área de trabajo limpia y bien
iluminada.
• Mantenga a los observadores, chicos y visi-
tantes lejos de la máquina mientras la está
operando. Las distracciones pueden causar-
le la pérdida del control.
SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
• Manténgase alerta, mire lo que está hacien-
do y use el sentido común cuando esté
usando la máquina. No use la herramienta
cuando esté cansado o bajo la influencia de
drogas, alcohol o medicación. Un momento
de desatención mientras está operando la
máquina puede tener como resultado una
lastimadura seria.
• Vístase correctamente. No use ropa floja o
joyería. Contenga el pelo. Mantenga su pe-
lo, vestimenta y guantes lejos de las partes
móviles. La ropa suelta, joyería o el pelo lar-
go pueden ser atrapados por las partes mó-
viles.
• No sobre extienda la distancia con la má-
quina. Mantenga buen calzado y balance
corporal siempre. Un calzado y balance cor-
poral adecuados permite un mejor control
de la herramienta en situaciones
inesperadas.
• Use el equipo de seguridad. Siem-
pre use protección ocular.
USO Y CUIDADO DE LA
MÁQUINA
• No fuerce la máquina. Use la máquina co-
rrecta para su aplicación. La máquina co-
rrecta realizará mejor y de manera más se-
gura el trabajo para el cual fue diseñado.
• No use la máquina si la llave de encendido
no enciende o apaga. Cualquier máquina
que no pueda ser controlada con la llave es
peligrosa y debe ser reparada.
• Mantenga la herramienta con cuidado.
• Use solamente accesorios recomendados
por el fabricante de su modelo. Accesorios
que funcionan para una máquina pueden
ser peligrosos cuando son usados en otra
máquina.
• No altere o use mal la máquina. Esta máqui-
na fue construida con precisión. Cualquier al-
teración o modificación no especificada es un
mal uso y puede resultar en una condición
peligrosa.

REPARACIÓN
• La reparación de la herramienta debe ser
llevada a cabo solamente por un personal
de reparaciones calificado. La reparación o
el mantenimiento realizado por una perso-
na no calificada puede generar peligro de
lastimadura.
• Cuando esté reparando la máquina use úni-
camente partes de reemplazo idénticas. Si-
ga las instrucciones en la sección de mante-
nimiento de este manual.
NORMAS ESPECIFICAS DE
SEGURIDAD PARA
NIVEL LASER
• No remueva o borre las etiquetas adheri-
das. Remover las etiquetas del producto
reduce su conocimiento de procedimientos
de seguridad, eso podría terminar en un
uso inapropiado del láser.
• No mire directamente al láser o proyecte la
línea del láser a los ojos de otras personas.
Podría causar daños severos en la visión.
• No use lentes de aumento o telescopios
para ver la línea del láser. Podría causar
daños severos en la visión.
• No opere el láser cerca de los niños o per-
mita que los niños jueguen con la her-
ramienta. Podría causar daños severos en la
visión.
• Siempre apague el láser cuando no lo este
usando. Dejarlo prendido aumenta las posi-
bilidades que alguien desprevenido mire
directamente al láser.
• No opere el nivelador láser en áreas com-
bustionadas, como en presencia de líquidos
inflamables, gases o polvo.
• No apriete los botones amarillos de la base
para montar en una pared, a no ser que
quiera adherir la base a una superficie
suave de madera o panel. Esto podría
causar lastimaduras, ya que los pinches
colocados bajo la base son filosos. MANEJE
LA BASE CON CUIDADO. Siempre use el
cobertor cuando no use la base.
• Cuando use la base para montar en una
pared o la base del trípode, siempre
asegúrese que la herramienta este bien
adjuntada a la base. Si la herramienta se
cae se puede dañar y causar daños al
usuario.
• Solo use los accesorios recomendados para
el uso del nivel láser. El uso de accesorios

INSTRUCCIONES DE
OPERACION
INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍAS
(vea figura 2 y figura 3)
Este nivel láser usa dos baterías "AA"
ADVERTENCIA: antes de instalar las
baterías, siempre asegúrese que el nivel
láser este
apagado.
1. Gire la cubierta negra de las baterías del
nivelador gire ¼ en dirección contraria a las
agujas del reloj y remueva la cubierta.
2. Instale las baterías con los polos indicados
en la etiqueta del compartimiento de las
baterías.
3. Coloque el cobertor negro otra vez en la
herramienta y gire el plato ¼ en dirección a
las agujas del reloj.
PARA ENCENDER LA HERRAMIENTA
(vea figura 4)
El interruptor del nivel láser esta ubicado al
frente de la herramienta. El interruptor tam-
bién es un cobertor con dos posiciones que
protege la óptica del láser.
ADVERTENCIA: cuando encienda el láser
siempre este atento a sus ojos y a los ojos
de las personas que lo rodean. Nunca
apunte el láser a otra persona ni a Ud.

3. Para apagar el láser, mueva el interruptor/
cobertor hasta arriba.
USO DE LOS LENTES REFORZADOS PARA
EL LÁSER
Este nivel incluye un par de anteojos de
seguridad estándar que son hechos de un
material reforzado para ver la luz del láser. El
principal propósito de estos anteojos es para
mejorar la visión de la línea del láser.
ADVERTENCIA: estos anteojos NO
PROTEGERA sus ojos de cualquier daño que
pueda resultar de mirar directamente al láser.
AJUSTE DE LA LÍNEA DE PROYECCIÓN DEL
LÁSER
(vea figura 5)
La línea de láser proyectada por esta her-
ramienta puede ser ajustada de 0 a 90.
1. Gire la herramienta y tenga cuidado de no
apuntar la herramienta en dirección a los
ojos de alguien.
2. Mueva la punta de su dedo en cualquier
dirección para cambiar el ángulo de la línea
del láser en cualquier superficie que este
enfrente a la herramienta.
USO DEL IMÁN EN LA BASE DEL NIVEL
LÁSER
(vea figura 6 y figura 7)
El imán en la base del nivel láser puede ser
usado con la base de montar para la pared o
la plataforma niveladora.
El imán también permite montar el láser a
una superficie chata de acero cubierta o no-
cubierta de 1 ¾ x 4. Esta característica es
interesante para aquellos que trabajan con
marcos de acero y trabajos de conducto.
TRABAJAR CON OBSTÁCULOS
La figura 8 ilustra como el láser es proyectado
del nivel láser. Es en verdad una luz plana de
láser. Obstrucciones que se encuentran justo
enfrente al dispositivo NO AFECTARAN la
línea del láser proyectada en cualquier lado
de la interferencia.
La figura 9 ilustra como el nivel láser proyecta
una línea recta y nivelada al otro lado de una
gran obstrucción como puede ser un termo de
agua.

REFERENCIA Y NIVELADO A TRAVÉS DE
MÚLTIPLES SUPERFICIES ADYACENTES
La línea recta de luz del nivel láser es también
útil para trabajar con dos o más superficies
adyacentes.
La figura 10 ilustra su uso para alinear en el
trabajo de montaje de las cajas eléctricas con
dos paredes adjuntas.
La figura 11 ilustra la alineación de cuadros en
varias paredes al mismo tiempo.
USARLO COMO EL NIVEL SOSTENIDO POR
LA MANO
El nivel láser puede ser sostenido con seguri-
dad y cómodamente con una mano para ser
usado como una línea de referencia. (vea figu-
ra 12)
Puede ser fácilmente ajustado con un dedo o
el pulgar de la proyección de una línea hori-
zontal a vertical y todos los ángulos en el
medio.
Como dispositivo portátil el nivel láser puede
ser usado para una referencia rápida y alin-
eación a través de dos puntos de referencia,
como alineado recortes y adornos en una
pared de drywall o verificar si el empapelado
y la pintura esta alineados. También es ideal
para asegurarse si las colocaciones de adornos
montados están rectas y los anaqueles como
el escalón los montajes ferroviarios
USARLO COMO UN NIVEL MONTADO A LA
PARED
Este nivel también puede ser usado estando
montado a la pared, usando la base para
montar en la pared.
La figura 14 también muestra el cobertor pro-
tector que encaja en la parte inferior de la
base para montar en la pared cuando esta no
se encuentra en uso. La figura 14 y 15 ilustra
la vista inferior y superior de la base de mon-
tar en la pared. Existen dos botones amarillos
en la parte superior de la base (vea figura 14)
que son usados para empujar los pinches
fuera de la base.
LOS pinches finos (vea figura 15) pueden ser
adjuntados a cualquier madera blanda o
pared de drywall superficie para asegurar el
nivel.
Los finos pinches de la base son diseñados
para ser fácilmente removidos de la madera o
panel de superficie.

eación para montar sobre el eje la herramien-
ta sobre la base para ayudar en la referencia
de dos puntos (vea figura 14)
MONTANDO EL NIVEL A LA PARED
1. Coloque el nivel láser sobre la base
para montar en la pared y deslice el
frente o la parte posterior de la her-
ramienta en y alrededor la clavija de
alineación.
2. Encienda el nivel. NO apunte la her-
ramienta en dirección a sus ojos o los
de otras personas.
3. Coloque el nivel y la base para monta
en la pared sobre una superficie blan-
da de madera. (vea figura 16)
4. Alinee la línea del láser con cualquiera
nivel o medida de referencia usando
los dos niveles de burbuja incorpora-
dos.
5. apriete los pinches en superficie usan-
do los botones amarillos en la base
El nivel láser puede ser usado para alin-
ear un solo objeto u objetos sobre una
superficie (vea figura 16). Sin embargo,
es más efectivo cuando se alinean múlti-
ples objetos en superficies múltiples
como en la alineación de adornos del
baño en un cercamiento de la tina como
es mostrado en la figura 17.
ADVERTENCIA: NO apriete los
botones amarillos a no ser que
tenga planeado añadirlos a base de una
superficie blanda de madera o panel de
superficie Eso podría resultar en lesiones,
ya que los pinches que están debajo de la
base son muy filosos. SIEMPRE MANEJE
ESTA BASE CON CUIDADO. SIEMPRE use
el cobertor de protección cuando la base
no esta en uso

USANDO EL NIVEL CON LA PLATAFOR-
MA NIVELADORA
El nivel puede también ser usado para
muchas otras aplicaciones como la alin-
eación de ventanas y marcos, instalar
luces, y alinear gabinetes del baño y la
cocina.
La línea del láser puede ser usada para
levantar un solo punto de referencia y
proyectar un nivel horizontal o vertical
exacto a +/-1/2" a 30' a través del área de
trabajo enfrente a la herramienta.
La luz del láser va a marcar exactamente
líneas horizontales, verticales y ángulos
rectos.
MONTANDO EL NIVEL A LA PLATAFOR-
MA NIVELADORA
1. Ponga el nivel en la plataforma nive-
ladora y deslice el frente de la her-
ramienta en y alrededor de la clavija de
alineación (vea figura 18).
NOTA: la plataforma niveladora puede ser
también usada adjuntada a la base del
trípode para darle mas estabilidad a
operaciones en superficies planas.
2. Coloque el nivel con la plataforma en
cualquier superficie plana del área de
trabajo. Gire los tres tornillos negros de
ajuste hasta llegar al nivel. Hay dos bur-
bujas de nivel en la parte superior de la
herramienta para ayudarlo a nivelar la
herramienta (vea figura 19). NO apunte
la herramienta en dirección a sus ojos o
los de otras personas.
3. Alinee la línea del láser con sus puntos
de referencia.

USANDO EL NIVEL CON UNA BASE DE
TRÍPODE
(vea figura 20)
Este nivel también puede ser usado con una
base trípode. Esto da mas flexibilidad en el
armado y uso de nivel láser.
El uso de un trípode con esta herramienta es
ideal para nivelar gabinetes de cocina, marcos
de ventanas, barras y más.
MONTANDO EL NIVEL A UNA BASE
TRÍPODE
1. Ponga la plataforma niveladora y deslice el
frente de la herramienta en y alrededor de
la clavija de alineación. (vea figura 20)
2. Coloque el nivel y la plataforma niveladora
en la base trípode y gire lo tres tronillos
negros de ajuste para asegurarla en su
lugar.
3. Adjunte la base trípode usando la rosca de
montaje estándar incluida con el trípode ¼-
20 UNC. Vea figura 20)
4. Encienda el nivel. NO direccione la her-
ramienta hacia sus ojos o los de alguien
más.
5. Aliene la línea del láser con su punto de
regencia.
PROYECTANDO UNA LÍNEA VERTICAL
LÁSER
Cuando use la plataforma niveladora, el láser
proyectara una línea recta vertical sobre la
superficie directamente enfrente a la her-
ramienta de cualquier ángulo de la
habitación. ( vea figura 21)
Sin embargo, si Ud. quiere proyectar una línea
vertical a través de dos o más superficies ady-
acentes, el nivel debe estar posicionado direc-
tamente enfrente al área de trabajo para pre-
venir que la herramienta proyecte una línea
adyacente que sea en el mismo ángulo al de la
proyección de la herramienta. (vea figura 22)
PROYECTANDO LÍNEAS HORIZONTALES
LÁSER
Cuando use la plataforma niveladora, el nivel
láser proyectara una línea horizontal sobre la
superficie directamente enfrente a la her-
ramienta desde cualquier altura la herramien-
ta esta ubicada y nivelada horizontalmente.
Si Ud.. Solo quiere proyectar una línea hori-
zontal sobre una superficie, la herramienta
puede ser puesta en el ángulo adecuado para
alinearse con la marca o punto de referencia.
(vea figura 23)
Para proyectar una línea recta horizontal a
través de dos o más superficies adyacentes, el
nivel y la plataforma niveladora deban estar
precisamente niveladas usando las dos burbu-
jas niveladoras que están en la herramienta.
Esto alineara el nivel a la misma altura del
punto de referencia, previniendo que la her-
ramienta proyecte una línea adyacente que
sea del mismo ángulo que la de la proyección
del ángulo de la herramienta. (vea figura 24).

MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA: maneje el nivel láser
con cuidado.
ADVERTENCIA: evite la exposición del
nivel a vibraciones continuas o calor
extremo o temperaturas muy bajas.
ADVERTENCIA: siempre guarde el
nivel bajo techo. Cuando no este en
uso, siempre guárdelo en su caja protectora.
ADVERTENCIA: siempre mantenga el
nivel libre de polvo y líquidos. Use una
tela húmeda y jabón suave para limpiar la
herramienta. Si en necesario, solo use un
paño suave o algodón y limpiador de ven-
tadas para limpiar el lente.
ADVERTENCIA: siempre limpie y deje
completamente seca la herramienta
después de cada uso.
ADVERTENCIA : verifique las baterías
regularmente para evitar que se deteri-
oren Siempre remueva las baterías de la her-
ramienta, si no va a ser usado por un largo
periodo de tiempo.
ADVERTENCIA: reemplace las baterías
después de un usarlas 40 horas aprox.
ADVERTENCIA: no desamable el nivel
láser. Esto no solo anulara la garantirá
sino que también puede exponer al usuario a
radiaciones riesgosas.
ADVERTENCIA: no modifique la her-
ramienta o usarlo con otros productos
y/ o accesorios no especificados, esto podía
exponer al usuario a radiaciones riesgosas
ADVERTENCIA: no intente cambiar
cualquier parte del lente del láser.

tool. Be sure to pay special attention to the
safety rules and all the warnings and Cautions
throughout this manual.
GENERAL SAFETY RULES

away while operating a power tools.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
PERSONAL SAFETY
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a power
tools. Do not use tools while tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medica-
tion. A moment of inattention while oper-
ating power tools may result in serious per-
sonal injury.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your
hair, clothing, and gloves away form mov-
ing parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long
hair can caught in moving parts.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. Proper footing and bal-
ance enables better control of the tools in
unexpected situations.
• Use safety equipment. Always
wear eye protection.
SERVICE
• Never leave adjusting wrench on the tool
before turning the tool on.
• Never leave the trigger locked "ON",
before plugging the tool in, check that the
trigger lock is "OFF".
• When starting the tools let it run for a few
minutes before using on a workpiece.
Watch for vibration or wobbling that could
indicate poor installation or a poorly bal-
anced wheel.
• Secure the material being used. Never hold
it in your hand or across your hand or across
your legs.
• Keep your hand away from rotating parts.
• Always wear safety goggles and a dust
mask when grinding, especially grinding
over-head.
• Do not touch the workpiece immediately
after operation. It may be extremely hot
and could burn your skin.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
FOR LASER LEVEL
Do not remove or deface any product
labels. Removing product labels decreases
your awareness of safety procedures that
could lead to you using the laser inappro-
priately.
• Do not stare directly at the laser beam or
project the laser beam directly into the eyes
of others. Serious eye injury could result.
• Do not place the laser level in a position
that may cause anyone to stare into the
laser beam intentionally or unintentionally.

• Do not use any magnifying optical tools
such as but not limited to telescopes or
transits to view the laser beam. Serious eye

• Do not operate the laser level around chil-
dren or allow children to operate the tool.

of someone inadvertently staring into the

wall-mounting base unless you intend to
affix the base to soft wood or wallboard
surface. This could result in injury, as the
pins under the base are sharp. HANDLE THE
BASE PLATE CAREFULLY.
• Always use the protective cover on the base
when not in use.
• When using the wall-mounting base or the
tripod base, always make sure the tool is
securely attached to the base. Damage to
the tool and/or serious injury to the user
could result if the tool falls.
• Only use the accessories recommended for
use with the laser level. Use of accessories
that have been designed for other laser
tools could result in serious injury.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
- TO INSTALL BATTERIES
(Fig. 2 and Fig. 3)
This laser level uses two "AA" batteries.
WARNING: Before installing the batter-
ies, always make sure that the on/off
switch on the level is in the off position
1. Turn the black battery cover plate on the
back of the level 1/4 turn in a counter-clock-
wise direction and remove cover.
2. Install the batteries with the polarity as
indicated on the label in the battery com-
partment.
3. Place the black cover plate back onto the
tool and turn the plate 1/4 turn in a clock-
wise direction to lock
TO TURN THE TOOL ON
The switch to turn the laser level on is located
on the front of the tool. This switch is also a
two-position cover plate that protects the
laser's optics.
WARNING: When turning on the laser level
always be aware of your eyes and the
eyes of those around you.
Never point the laser level beam at anyone's
face including your own.
1. To open the tool for use move the switch
plate down until it stops at the
first position. The lens is now
open, but the tool is still off.
2. Move the switch plate down
to its lowest position to turn
the laser on.
3. To turn tool off, move
switch/cover all the way up
until it locks in the closed posi-
tion.
USING THE LASER
ENHANCING GLASSES
This level includes a pair of standard safety
glasses that are made of a laser light enhanc-
ing material. The primary purpose of these
glasses is to improve the viewing of the tool's
laser line.

ADJUSTING THE LASER LINE PROJECTION
(Fig. 5)
The laser line projected from this tool can be
adjusted O-9Oº.
1. Turn the tool on and be careful not to point
the tool in the direction of anyone's eyes.
2. Move the finger knob in either direction to
change the angle of the laser line on any
surface directly in front of the tool.
USING THE MAGNET IN THE BASE OF THE
LASER LEVEL
(Fig. 6 and Fig. 7)
The magnet in the base of the laser level can
be used with the wall-mounting base or the
levelling platform.
The magnet also allows the tool to be mount-
ed on any coated or un-coated 1 3/4 x 4" flat
steel surface. This feature is particularly handy
to those working with steel stud framework
and ductwork
WORKING WITH OBSTRUCTIONS
Fig. 8 illustrates how the laser line is projected
from the laser level. It is actually a "plane" of
laser light. Obstructions that take place direct-
ly in front of the device WILL NOT affect the
laser line projected on either side of the inter-
ference.
Fig. 9 illustrates how the laser level provides a
straight and level line on either side of a large
obstruction such as a hot water heater.

REFERENCING AND LEVELLING ACROSS
MULTIPLE ADJACENT SURFACES
The laser level's plane of light is also useful
when working with two or more adjacent sur-
faces.
Fig. 10 illustrates its use in aligning electrical
boxes on studwork with two adjoining walls.
Fig. 11 illustrates pictures being aligned on
multiple walls.
USING AS A HAND-HELD LEVEL
The laser level can be held safely and com-
fortably in one hand to be used as a straight
line reference tool (Fig. 12).
It can be easily adjusted with a finger or
thumb from horizontal to vertical line projec-
tion and all angles in between
As a hand-held device the laser level can be
used for quick reference and alignment across
any two points of reference such as lining up
cut-outs and fixtures on drywall or checking
wall paper and paint trim. Also ideal for insur-
ing straight placement of mounted fixtures
and brackets such as stair rail fittings (Fig. 13).

USING AS A WALL-MOUNTED LEVEL
This level can also be wall-mounted using the
wall-mounting base.
Fig. 14 also shows the protective cover that
snaps into the bottom of the base when it is
not in use. Fig. 14 and 15 show the top and
bottom views of the wall-mounting base.
There are two yellow buttons on the top of
the base (Fig. 14) that are used to push the
thin pins out of the base.
The thin pins (Fig. 15) can be driven into any
soft wood or wall board surface to secure the
level.
The thin pins in the base are designed to be
easily removed from the wood or wallboard
surface.
This base also has an alignment pin for pivot-
ing the tool on the base to aid in referencing
two points (Fig. 14)
MOUNTING LEVEL TO WALL- MOUNTING
BASE
1. Place the laser level on the wall-mounting
base and slide either the front or back of
the tool into and around the alignment pin.
2. Turn the level "on". DO NOT point the tool
in the direction of your eyes or anyone
else's eyes.
3. Place the level and wall-mounting base on
a soft wood or wallboard surface (Fig. 16).
4. Align the laser line with any two measured
or levelled reference points using the two
built-in bubble levels.
5. Push the thin pins into the surface using the
yellow buttons on the base.
The laser level can be used to align a single
object or objects on one surface (Fig. 16).
However, it is most effective when used to
align multiple objects on multiple surfaces
such as the alignment of bath fixtures in a tub
enclosure as shown in Fig. 17.
WARNING: DO NOT push the yellow
buttons on the wall-mounting base
unless you plan to affix the base to a soft
wood or wallboard surface. This could result
in injury, because. the pins under the base are
very sharp. ALWAYS HANDLE THIS BASE
CAREFULLY. ALWAYS use the protective cover
on the base when not in use.

USING LEVEL WITH LEVELLING PLATFORM
This level can also be used with the levelling
platform for much broader applications such
as framing and aligning windows, installing
track lighting, and lining up bath and kitchen
cabinets.
The laser light can be used to pick up a single
point of reference and project a level hori-
zontal or vertical line accurate to +/-1/2" at 30'
across the work area in front of the tool.
The laser light will accurately mark horizontal
lines, vertical lines and right angles.
MOUNTING LEVEL TO LEVELLING PLAT-
FORM
1. Put the level on the levelling platform and
slide the front of the tool into and around
the alignment pin (Fig. 18).
NOTE: The levelling platform can also be used
attached to the tripod base to provide a
more stable, flat surface for levelling oper-
ations.
2. Place the level with platform on any flat
surface in the work area. Turn the three
black adjustment knobs to level. There are
two bubble levels on top of the tool to help
you level the tool (Fig. 19). Turn the level
"ON". DO NOT point the tool in the direc-
tion of your eyes or anyone else's eyes.
3. Align the laser line with your point of ref-
erence.
USING LEVEL WITH TRIPOD BASE
(Fig. 20)
This level can also be used with the tripod
base. This provides even more flexibility in the
set up and use of the laser level.
The use of a tripod with this tool is ideal for
levelling kitchen cabinets, countertops, win-
dow framing, plate rails and more.

MOUNTING LEVEL TO TRIPOD BASE
1. Put the level on the levelling platform and
slide the front of the tool into and around
the alignment pin (Fig. 20).
2. Place the level and levelling platform onto
the tripod base and turn the three black
adjustment knobs to secure in place (Fig.
20).
3. Attach tripod base to tripod using the stan-
dard 1/4-20 UNC threaded fitting included
with tripod (Fig. 20).
4. Turn the level "ON". DO NOT point the tool
in the direction of your eyes or anyone
else's eyes.
5. Align the laser line with your point of ref-
erence.
PROJECTING VERTICAL LASER LINES
When used with the levelling platform, the
laser level will project a plumb vertical line on
the surface directly in front of the tool from
any angle in the room (Fig. 21).
However, if you want to project a straight ver-
tical line across two or more adjacent surfaces,
the level and levelling platform must be posi-
tioned directly in front of the work area to
prevent the tool from projecting an adjacent
line that is at the same angle as the tool pro-
jection angle (Fig. 22).
PROJECTING HORIZONTAL LASER LINES
When used with the levelling platform, the
laser level will project a level horizontal line
on the surface directly in front of the tool
from any height the tool is set and horizontal-
ly levelled (Fig. 23).
If you only want to project a level horizontal
line on one surface, the tool can be angled to
line up with the mark or reference point (Fig.
23).
To project a straight horizontal line across two
or more adjacent surfaces, the level and level-
ling platform must be precisely levelled using
the 2 bubble levels on the tool. This will align
the level to the same height of the reference
point which prevents the tool from projecting
an adjacent line that is at the same angle as
the tool projection angle (Fig. 24)
