User’s Manual of X-COP 8700
[ X-COP 8700 Introduction]
- X-COP 8700 is high performance GPS Radar Detector specially designed and optimized for European
and Russian markets, which receives the signals of X, K, Ka, M, Laser, Strelka bands and GPS signal
effectively.
- The GPS module is equipped so that it catches the radar signals and the fixed and moved speed
cameras as well and gives a warning to driver effectively.
- Full color OLED display with 16bit-Color(160*32 pixels) provides more various information to driver.
- X-COP 8700 have a special feature “Motion Control” which is controlled mute on/off by gesture of
hand.
- USB OTG is more powerful feature to update that the device can be updated by using PC, as well as
USB memory.
- Before using X-COP 8700, please read the method of use as follows.

[ Installation ]
1. The Suction cups and bumper are assembled into bracket as like the following picture.
2. Stick the assembled bracket on the car front window as like the following picture.
3. Insert X-COP 8700 into bracket as like the following picture.
4. Adjust the X-COP 8700 to be horizontal by bending the bracket.
Insert the 12V/24V DC Cord into the Cigarette lighter cord in car and the jack into X-COP 8700.

[ Operation ]
1. Power On and Off.
1.1. When you start an engine at the condition of the power cord is connected, X-COP 8700 will be power
on and start the self-test and then become a Stand-by mode.

Current car speed and time are showing on the display.
1.2. To p ow e r off X-COP 8700, turn off a car engine or press PWR/MENU button for two seconds.
1.3. When you power off by pressing PWR/MENU button, 3-beeps will be announced and display will show
LOGO and blinking.
2. BUTTON operation
2.1. Left Button
2.1.1. Short Press : enter into SET mode.
Or Power On operation at Power Off condition.
Or Change the setting order at Setting mode.
2.1.2. Long Press : Power Off operation.
Or save the setting value at Setting mode, and then go back to Stand-by mode
2.2. DOWN/UP Button
2.2.1. Normal operation : VOLUME Level change (0 ~ 8 level)

2.2.2. During radar alert : silence zone addition/deletion
- When radar is alert, press UP or DOWN button for 1.5 sec then the area will be added
on silence zone.
- When car is within silence zone, press UP or DOWN button for 1.5 sec then the area
will be deleted from silence zone.
2.2.3. Operation at SET mode : SET value change
2.3. Right Button
2.3.1. Short Press
- Mode Change : Turbo, Highway, City, X-COP,
- City / X-COP / Highway Mode
Highway Mode : Full sensitivity, “Highway mode” will be announced.
Turbo Mode : Maximum sensitivity, “Tur bo mode” will be announced.
City Mode : Sensitivity 20dBm down, “City mode” will be announced.
X-COP Mode : Mode and GPS/Radar priority will be changed according to the car speed.
“X-COP mode” will be announced.
When speed is 0Km ~ 40Km
è City Mode & Radar voice and alert sound Off
When speed is 41Km ~ 70Km
è City Mode
è GPS alert priority is higher than Radar alert.
When speed is faster than 71Km
è Highway Mode
è Radar alert priority is higher than GPS alert

2.3.2. Long Press : User location addition/deletion
2.3.2.1. User location addition
- Press the button during normal mode, the user point will be added
- “User area is added” will be announced and display text message.
2.3.2.2. User location deletion
- Press the button during User area alerting, the user point will be deleted
- “User area is deleted” will be announced and display text message
2.4. Left + Right Button

3. SET mode
3.1. How to enter into the SET mode : Press Left Button.
Voice will be heard like “Settings” and display will be shown like below.
3.2. How to get out of SET mode
Press SET/MUTE button or leave for 5 seconds without touching any button.
3.3. Whenever press PWR/MENU Button, the SET mode will be changed with the following order.

value.

- Timer : 0 ~ 99.9 sec.
- 0~60km/h : Time from 0 to 60km/h
- 0~100km/h : Time from 0 to 100km/h.
- 1/4 Mile : Time from 0 to 1/4 Mile
- 100~150km/h : Time from 100km/h to 150km/h
- 100~200km/h : Time from 100km/h to 200km/h
4.1. Start
When car moves, it starts automatically.
4.2. End
When car speed gets to 200Km/h within 100 secs, or it is over 100 seconds from the start, XLOGIC is
ended.
Is automatically saved and the results.
Store in the five result of the last measurement..
4.3. Delete ( Left Button )
Deletes the result that is currently being viewed.
4.4. Result check (change by DOWN/UP)
User can check the saved previous results.
4.5. Result inquiry ( Right Button )
You can inquire the stored results.
